Recently needed to get some last names screen printed on some football jerseys. The first place I decided to try was Kombat Ink, I requested a quote and on that very day Pat responded back with what they would need to complete the order and how much it would cost. After going over what font and colors I wanted I was told to wait for them to get the names finished so all I had to do was stop in and they could complete the order on that visit. The next day I was emailed that the names were complete and I stopped by. I was in and out in less then ten minutes and the names look amazing on the jerseys. This will now be my go to place for any other jerseys or apparel I need screen printing on. We put together a brand new U8 soccer team. With the additions and reductions in our roster, we couldn't order uniforms in time. Pat was very knowledgeable and found us quality yet inexpensive jerseys that could be over nighted to his shop. 2.5 days later as promised, our jerseys were there and printed ready for me to pick up. Also at the end of our last season, we (parents) wanted to get something special for the players. Pat got us a very good quality athletic t-shirt, printed and once again, on time as promised. I worked with this place for two months on some embroidery and getting some shirts done for my school students. They failed in almost every way. The only bright spot was the owner trying to work things out and one worker being nice. The reason we go tot hear places is to have something down though, customer service should be a given. PROBLEMS: (and I'm not happy at all) They charged me to have many embroidery done on uniforms and it looked not so good. They actually ruined a brand new $300 uniform bc the embroiderer went over it twice and it still was bad. They said it was the thread. The owner said it was the needle. They made me pay for it. The others were not very good either. After all the time, letting them experiment with another uniform to get it right, they told me they couldn't do it bc they didn't know how to embroider it. Keep in mind that this is their expertise and we expect them to be able to do their job they charge us for. They said sorry, bring to another shop that knows how to embroider when the fabric is a little thicker. Wtf? So, u didn't do the other right either??!! But you charged me for every one fo them? To add, I asked to have some cheap T-shirts made up for the team, I was quoted a quote that was higher than on the internet. Sad Look, of course I'm not happy, Pat. Your employees didn't do the embroidery well at all. They showed me how perfect it is supposed to be but said they couldn't do it. Pat (owner), your employees went over my new uniform twice and ruined it. Whoever you have working the embroidery is not trained right and ruined my brand new Mizuno uniform that costs $300!!! Are you willing to refund my entire amount or are you going to keep my money for a bad job? U do two things there: Embroidery (can't do it) Screen print (more expensive than the internet w shipping) I just don't get it. I don't understand and I'm not happy with this place. read more

Soccer clubs should offer more options to help weed out the likes of Kombat sports. They act like a spoilt kid. Customer service is non-existent. I have received bad customer service but Kombat Soccer Store (Kombat Inc) has got be the worst. I emailed them about an order on June 30th. Didn't hear back because they don't answer their phone and they specifically ask that you don't leave a vm. Followed up on July 17th as my order was still pending. I wanted to add an item and have it shipped with my original order. I received a response on July 26th stating that the additional order was not available. The employee (Gina) asked if I would like to pick up the order from the West Sac. I responded almost immediately letting her know that I would pick up the uniform. My son needed it on July 31 and I didn't want to risk not receiving it in the mail. Of I went to Kombat Soccer West Sac location (30 min drive) on July 30th only to be told that the order was shipped. When I asked to speak to Gina so I can understand where the miscommunication occurred she basically said your order was shipped and you get it in the mail. Didn't seem to acknowledge or even show empathy for the impact of her mistake - time wasted on my part! I then suggested that they should do a better job with there phone or email/phone communication to which she basically said things happen and essentially to be happy my order was shipped. Like what!! So then I asked to talk to the manager. To this Gina said that would be taking them away from more important things. Unreal. I explained that fielding customer customer complaints is part of their job and insisted. She stormed off into the back and I could hear her saying "some guy upfront wants to talk to you"..."I already told him...". The lady owner came out and all she kept saying was Covid was the reason for their lack of communication and mistakes. She claimed they have been in business for 20yrs.. Same customer service caliber as Gina. Only really talked to me nicely after I showed her the email records. Apparently their system had a glitch and didn't send me a "shipped" notification. No empathy. Just wanted to send me on my way. I think the problem is they have some sort of monopoly and that is why the staff acts like they don't have to provide any customer service. More parents should petition the clubs to have more options so that the Kombat sports kind can realize the importance of the customer. End of rant. read more
