My beverage/beer order was the Night Moth Oak-Conditioned Hazy IPA | 7.2% | 12oz/8 - 5oz/4. I recommend this if you are a fan of Hazy IPA's. My food order was the Beer braised, short rib with roasted root vegetables, polenta, swiss chard, and sweety drops. Tender and tasty short ribs. I will be craving the sweety drops for sure. Bar seating, regular tables and high top tables available here.

Magical first few bites. But chicken gets boring. Crispy Brussels sprouts - 3.5/5. Solid fry level. Cheesy bites are delicious. But quickly bland. Raisins is an unexpected addition but unsuccessful in my view. Kids grilled cheese - 4/5. Tasty and simple, though my kid wasn't willing to try. Duck and dumpling - 3.5/5. I can see how this is someone's favorite dish. Lovely rich broth. Crispy skin. But there was a heaviness that didn't totally work for me, especially with the bigger duck chunks. Definitely better fresh than leftover. Chocolate beer cake - 3.5/5. Slightly dense cake. Nice frosting. Beer aroma and flavor definitely comes through. Hazelnuts a nice crunch. Fun and glad to have tried, but not reaching for the next bite.

We checked online and were able to make a quick reservation so we were seated pretty much right away! The vibe is like an old brewery/warehouse and there is plenty of seating. The bar is in the middle, and I think if you don't have a reservation, and you're okay with sitting at the bar, you can sit right away too. We got the pretzels, cheese curds, and Chicago fried chicken sandwich and everything was really good! The mustard that comes with the pretzel and the ranch that came with the curds were DELISH! There's snow on the ground right now, but I saw seating outside along the river and I bet that's beautiful in the summer! Def would go back!

This is one of our favorite local spots…read more Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. They have an extensive schedule of events and pop-ups so definitely check Instagram so you know what to expect before you show up! On Monday's, their regular kitchen is closed, but they usually have a pop up. They have a rotating selection of beers on tap along with a few standards. They mostly serve their own products so don't go in and expect a Bud Light, but rest assured that whoever is behind the bar will help you find something you like. Their canned gin and tonic is my personal go-to.

It is surrounded by factories and buildings that look a little abandoned, so it feels a little sketchy pulling up. But once you walk inside, it is a completely different experience. The space is beautiful, with a great layout, a central bar, and plenty of seating. It is mostly seat yourself, and you order drinks at the bar, but they do bring food out to you and clear your table. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain how everything works, which I appreciated. Now the food. So good. I have had a favorite taco spot for the past few months, but this place honestly raised the bar. They are known for their fried cheese tacos and they absolutely live up to the hype. The shrimp was delicious and the sauce reminded me of a seafood boil, rich and flavorful. The salsa verde was also great. I also had the fries topped with fried cheese, cilantro, and onions, and they were just as good. Everything smelled amazing and everyone at the table loved their food. One thing I really loved is their drink options. They have great cocktails, but also offer well crafted mocktails that feel just as intentional. On top of that, they have THC and CBD drinks, which really adds to the relaxed, laid back vibe. Overall, it is a great place to sit, hang out, and enjoy good food and drinks for as long as you want. I will definitely be back.

It was a good hang out spot for a quick nosh. Pro tip on the happy hour. The oysters come with way more michelada sauce than you need. Pour the rest in a beer. I will say first that it was not horrible. It was a fine experience but I want to also provide feedback on what could be better. The vibe is definitely 10/10! It feels lively and fun, and they did a great job making it feel like a celebration. The dessert with the sparkler was a cute touch. I loved the open kitchen too, it adds to the energy of the space. Also reinforces a clean environment which I appreciate. We ordered chips, salsa, and guac which were all good and a solid start. We also had queso fundido which tasted good too, but overall the app portions felt a bit on the smaller side given the price. The beer was honestly one of the best parts. The Estrella Blanca was really good and something I would absolutely order again. They did not have their most popular beer on draft which was surprising. There were ads on the highway for it all over Chicagoland so I was surprised. For food, the five of us got three ribeye plates, a chicken quesadilla, and the chicken tlayuda. The ribeye had good flavor but it felt like more peppers/onions than steak. The quesadilla was good. The tlayuda was great, very unique and big enough to share! Service was friendly but definitely on the slower side. Not bad, just slow. It was one of the first nice spring days in Chicago so lots of people were out and it was crowded, which likely played a role. Overall, everything was good, just not amazing. For the price point, I was hoping to be a bit more impressed by the food. It's a fun spot, great beer, and good for celebrations. I'd probably come back but wouldn't necessarily rush back.
