    Cuban

This was a damn good Cuban, which is really hard to find. Moist with spicy beer mustard sauce with house aioli and carnitas, black forest ham and nice gooey swiss cheese. Add pickled jalapenos on a toasted torta roll and you've got a winner. Plus a diverse selection of beers you don't find everywhere. Plenty of room inside plus a sizeable outdoor area. I'm looking forward to trying the Italian beef.

We sat outside and it's well covered. I went do brunch. It was family friendly. Our server was great and gave my daughter chalk to play/draw with. Food was surprisingly good.

Solid brewery! It's quite spacious and airy, and there are definitely good spots for larger groups to gather. One of the times I've been here, we got the pretzel which was ENORMOUS and so good. The brews are always interesting too. One thing to note is you order via QR code at your table, but the process is pretty easy.

First time here and I really enjoyed it. Great place for meeting with friends or a large group. Drinks were well made and the soft pretzel was huge but really soft and delicious. Great place to just hangout.

Great brewery with some great food options. This place is set up like a living room, and office. It's nice to relax, come here have a beer, coffee, tea, pastry, or even lunch. We came here on a Sunday afternoon for a beer and sandwich, they do allow kids, and over the place was 1/2 full. It was quiet. I got an IPA, the frozen coyote, it was great. I also got the roasted red pepper hummus sandwich. It was good, I would have preferred it in a wrap but it comes on a ciabatta. My partner got a turkey sweet potato sandwich. We also got a bowl of chips, there were so many in the bowl. Great place to go to!

Cool spot to meet with friends for food and some drinks, lots of beverage options. Beer, wine, non alcoholic. Good food. Pretzel and Italian beef were tasty and huge portions. Chill outdoor seating with big benches and nice indoor space.

Pilot Project Brewing remains a great place for group hangouts. They have an excellent outdoor patio that's dog friendly and has plenty of picnic tables making it the perfect place for groups. What's more is that you can order everything via QR Code from the table and it's brought out to you.

I always forget about this local neighborhood brewery but we have a great time every time we stop by. The outdoor patio is great and I'm looking forward to spending time out there as it warms up. The ordering via phone makes it very easy to place an order and the amount of drinks (NA options too!) and snacks should satisfy most groups!

Only like stouts and I was in luck, they had one stout and it was delicious - the brushfire. Bartender was friendly and his favorite, admittedly the staff favorite was also the stout! Super cute indoor area with plenty of tables and seats, looking forward to the next time we're here.

This is one of my favorite places to get beer in the city. With multiple different breweries, the options are nearly limitless. I tried a flight of a bunch of new beers I haven't tried and also got a pretzel. The beer was delicious and the pretzel was super soft and included some fun dipping sauces! Parking is usually easy down the side streets.

Ask the Community - Pilot Project Brewing - Logan Square

Is this a good study spot (I.e, good seats available)? Don't really mind loud noises but want to get a feel of the ambience here to get some work done while enjoying a drink or brew

Yep! Definitely is. It's pretty mellow and when I was there it felt more like a coffee shop that served beer and food. People were working on their laptops when I was there.

    Do they have parking?

Street parking is available (paid & free, non-permitted until 6pm).

What time do they start serving beer?

    8am

I ordered 5 coffees one morning, and all the register guy did was write a few names on some cups and placed it down. I understand tipping culture is a divided topic of discussion, but at the end of the day, it is OPTIONAL. After pressing the skip button from what I believe to be non-tip worthy service, he threw a fit and said "Wow you're serious? After I did all that?" Meanwhile all he did was write names on cups. Now I would understand if he was the barista working hard to pump out the coffees, but two lovely ladies were in the back doing that. He shooed me and my friend out of line as we were still processing what he just said. The next customer orders and he had the audacity to talk about us to them while we're 5 feet away. Delusional as he was, he had the nerve to say we were holding up the line and made him do "all that work", and I could promise you, we knew exactly what we wanted to order the second we got up, and took no longer than 45 seconds. We also witnessed he got into it with another customer, so it seems like he's the problem here. Most wild service I have ever received, all for some milky coffees. I ended up tipping the lovely ladies in the back though. Be warned. There are much better spots.

I don't know what sorcery they are using to bake these scones, but they are not your average dry, flaky pastry. They are moist, gooey, huge, heavy on flavors and ingredients, and always delicious. I'm tempted to ask the owner to start texting me the scone flavors of the day so I never miss my favorites. Top 5 scones: - Peaches and cream - Cherry chocolate - Vanilla chai and/or vanilla rosemary (can't pick) - Lemon ginger - Chocolate caramel pecan Obviously I'm a sweet pastry person, but they also always have a couple of savory options like ham jalapeño cheddar, goat cheese, etc. I had one that was like blackberry habanero one time?? I took a sip. Yuck! I waited a few minutes, thinking, maybe it wasn't THAT bad, and tried another sip. Yuck! On my way out, I brought my drink back to the counter. It was still warm. I told the guy that the drink was terrible, that it tasted like warmed up Hersheys syrup. He took my drink and said, "Oh I'm sorry about that." I paused a second; he had nothing else to say. He didn't offer to make me a new drink. Didn't offer a pastry. Didn't offer a refund. I'm out $6 and I did not get to enjoy a treat. We're urged to support local, but experiences like this remind me why I like to go to the consistent chain that ALWAYS remakes my drink if there's a problem (which their rarely is), no questions asked. Totally disappointing. Would not go back because my drink was terrible and the customer service didn't exist.

They played good music and wasn't too loud. You could easily carry on a conversation or , like me, continue listening to a podcast. By the time I finished, the place was completely full and a bit noisy, but not bad. I started out with a 10oz Birds of Prey Pilsner. It was very nice. Light and crisp and very easy to drink. I followed that up with Melodious Maibock and ordered the CBG burger with fries. I didn't have lunch so I dove right in and forgot to snap a photo. It was a very good smash burger. It was cooked well and I really liked the combination of pickled onion and caramelized onion. I didn't see it until later but you can add bacon. As much as I loved this burger, bacon would totally take it up a notch! I started chatting with the bartender about their different beers and decided to have the Super Melodious Jalapeño Maibock with the burger. It's soooo different, but in a good way. It paired so well with the burger. You get green bell pepper on the nose and a hint of it on the palate. When you swallow you get a little heat at the back of the throat. It was so good! Great bar. Great food. Great beer. Go check them out!
