I was not particularly fond of their service. They wanted me to pay first to use the help discount which didn't make me happy but I was fine with. What really made me upset is that when they returned my clothes, They lost a strap/belt that went along with my dress. I never thought to check because I have taken that dress to European and greenway cleaners and I was always paranoid they would lose something but they never did. So I called kona cleaners to ask if they had it and the person who answered and he would look for it and call me back. He never did. I drove all the way to the cleaners and they said it had fallen off the dress and they found it on the floor. They just quickly pressed it and handed me by strap without a word of apology. I've been searching for a good service more than a cheap price and their service so far has been the worst. My clothes are expensive and I expect great treatment for them but that is not what kona offered. I will probably go back to greenway. read more

I bought the discount coupons and thought I would try out the Kona Cleaners delivery service. I put 8 shirts for laundry and 1 grey wool suit pant for dry cleaning in the purple bag. They picked it up, but then subsequently only returned the 8 shirts. The suit pants never came back, so now I have an expensive suit I can't wear. I cannot trust their system or their service, and I am out of luck on ever getting my clothes back. They didn't offer me any restitution beyond what I was already getting from the coupons I originally bought. What a huge and costly disappointment for me. I started going to the new location for Kona this last week, and have had great service. I did discuss with the manager at this location about poor service at another location, and he was quick to address the issue. Fortunate for me this location is super convenient. Only issues - since they are new there, its confusing where to park, and when I went to the website to call the location, their information was not posted at the time. I don't like to leave bad reviews but, I do feel that people should know more. After reading the reviews I chose to pick this cleaner to wash Robe's for my Church. The establishment, looks clean, professional and the cashier was friendly but sometimes that is smoke and mirrors. I filled out the new client card and got my ticket they said the cleaning would be ready that day and I asked him what would the total be at pick up he proceeded to tell me that it would be $30 I said for three items? I was literally floored by the price these are not pleated robes, two of them are made of muslin, and one is polyester wash and wear. I asked again are you sure? I have never paid more than $2.75-$4.00 an item at other cleaners. He said yes $10.00 each. You would think that a large company would be less expensive than mom and pop cleaners do to the mass quantity they receive but nope. They are completely overpriced. if they do this to the smaller customers think with they do to the companies that clean large quantities. If you feel that you want to pay high prices for regular cleaning then feel free to go to this establishment but, that's not a company that I want my money going too nor my church's money. Kona Cleaners has a very good customer service. Alexa got me a new BCBG blouse (same style, size, color, brand) as the one that got damaged by the dry cleaning process. My fiancé uses one of those ridiculously cheap $1 dry cleaners on Katella, but I choose to pay more and go to Kona because I have a lot of delicate (and expensive) garments. I am willing to pay a premium to ensure they will be handled with care. I had a potentially negative experience recently at Kona, but was so impressed with their customer service and handling of the issue, that they 100% earned this 5 star review. I took a $200 top with leather straps on for dry cleaning. When I picked the top up the stains were gone and it was immaculate, but the leather straps were missing. The customer service woman at Kona (unfortunately I can't recall her name) took ownership for resolving the issue and immediately said they would replace the top if they couldn't repair it. Fortunately their seamstress was able to repair the top and I got it back as good as new. I was incredibly impressed with their communication and handling of a difficult situation and Kona has earned a loyal customer. read more

I took 3 outdoor rugs that had mildewed to kona cleaners and asked if they could be cleaned and they said sure , so let rugs and i month later called to see if rugs were done and they did not know who i was it took 2 days for someone to call me back and they had found my rugs said they were being sent out to me cleaned called 1 month later and were told that rugs were still being cleaned called 1 month later and were told that my rugs were ready to be picked up. my husband and I went to pick them up and they were still with mildew and the fabric had been discolored told them they did not clean my rugs and the threads of the rugs pulled out then they said it would be $202. You owe us for the service to send them out to be cleaned. this company is not honest and they are terrible,this was the first time I did business with them and would never go back. Every time I go to Kona Cleaners, I am always greeted with a smile and all of the employees I have encountered are friendly without being annoying. (I've gone into a few different banks where their customer service is over-the-top and annoying.) Maria is the one I see most often and she always feels very genuine when speaking with her for the brief moment that I am there to pick up or drop off clothes. Absolutely go here if you have tough stains that just won't come out! My favorite work top was stained from an insect repellant explosion (it was a rough day). I went to another dry cleaner initially to get the stain out. The stain was no match for the other cleaner. In a last ditch attempt to save my favorite work top I brought it to Kona Cleaners. I had pretty much resolved myself to the fact that it was a goner. To my surprise, Kona Cleaners GOT THE WHOLE STAIN OUT!!!!!! I swear it's a miracle!!!! I am so impressed!!! I've had my clothes laundered here for more than a year. Every time is a fast and efficient process. The system is completely computerized if you wish to receive updates through email. Last time I dropped off my clothes, manager Jazmin asked if there were any areas of attention needed for my clothes without prompting. Little things like this show the care and attention of the staff. As soon as my clothes are ready for pickup I receive an email saying so. Friendly service but quality can be better. Prices are still high, although not the highest I've seen. For the cost, I would expect a much better job. They also put these tags on clothes that have a barcode. They stay on there permanently and you can't take them off. To me it feels very invasive. Especially given the fact that I don't want anything put on my clothes permanently without my consent. Although these barcodes are hidden (usually behind or on tags) I still don't like them. Especially when put on my expensive clothes. Sometimes they wrinkle the tag, so your tag won't stay flat anymore, it's bumpy. Also, recently they discolored one of my skirts and it didn't even look like they had dry cleaned it. It was more wrinkly than when I first brought it in. Overall I'm not satisfied with this cleaners and I will be taking my business elsewhere, even if I have to pay slightly more. I only gave this cleaners a try because my husband takes his clothes here. read more

Don't use this store. I dropped off shirts to be laundered. Without contacting me they decided to dry clean 4 100% cotton shirts and expected me to pay for something I didn't authorize.
