Egg for young

The food was top notch! Best cream cheese puffs ... ever! The egg foo young was so yummy and tasty, along with the Thai fried rice! Couldn't eat it all so took the rest home So happy to have this in our neighborhood!!

Egg Soda

Not only was the food amazing, our waitress Dasia ( or Deja as in de ja vu, as she said ) was so patient and helpful when explaining the menu to us! She really made our experience trying Laotian food for the first time absolutely wonderful!! With the road work going on, it was a bit of a struggle to get to the restaurant and SO WORTH IT. The sticky rice was WONDERFUL and an experience on its own; the egg soda was so different and delicious I would recommend it to anyone. My sons were both blown away by the flavor in the Mango Boba and the Sesame Chicken. I will come back again next time I visit Saint Paul. Five stars 100%.

Kong's Kitchen is an Eastside gem in Saint Paul! The pho is amazing! By far the best I have had in the twin cities! The only condiment I added to it was their house made chili oil which is amazing! The fried rice is delicious and such a classic! Mama's stuffed chicken wings were amazing as well and let's not forget the vegetable egg rolls! They were perfection in every bite! Sweet n sour chicken was crispy and made with quality white chicken breast chunks! The food here is made with love! The Thai tea was good as well!

Really good chicken fried rice and oyster wings. Priced about right. Easy on street parking.

Thai Fried Rice with chicken

Stoped here for a quick bite before an event. Was craving Thai food and couldn't have chosen a better spot. In the Pad See Ew the broccoli was the right amount of crunch but soft. And they were not shy with their portion sizes(especially for a great price). Tofu in the dish was perfection. let my Partner try some tofu for the first time, perfect first impression spot for tofu. The fried rice was delicious, can't go wrong with that dish. The Wait staff was incredibly kind and loved striking a conversation. Very calm and mellow inside with pretty decorations. Would definitely like to note, going on a hot day their ice water was beyond appreciated!

Went here on Mother's Day Sunday, had a reservation for 12:15. We got there a couple minutes early…read moreand were seated right away. The server was very friendly and informative, even joked around with us a little. It didn't look like reservations were needed, except maybe on busy days like Mother's Day. The food was amazing. Potstickers were, of course, super good, but so was everything else. Portions were generous. I got the pork belly fried rice and I think I have enough leftovers for another three or four meals. There is a small parking lot in back, but you have to walk around the building to get to the door. I would say it is not handicapped friendly. If you park in back it would be hard to get to the door unless you are able to make it half way around the block. If you park in front it is just street parking. My dad uses a walker and we were lucky enough to get a spot right in front of the restaurant, anything else would have been a problem. Spacing inside the restaurant is pretty tight as well. Once dad sat down they had to take his walker into the back because there was no room in the seating area. We were packed in pretty tightly and very close to the table next to us. Overall, delicious food! We will be back!

I used 52 Market & Trading's catering services without having ever tried their food or stepping…read morefoot into their store. They had reasonable options and prices compared to some other Asian food caterers and this was my main and only reason for using them. I was thoroughly pleased with their service and food quality. From placing the order to picking up the food, I had a nice experience with them. They were all very friendly and helpful. I kept my catering requests to foods that were less intricate; crispy pork, papaya salad and the fried tilapia. Everyone raved about the crispy pork. It was still, of course, crispy, by the time we ate it and yet tender at the same time. The salt level was perfect. Unfortunately, I was too full to try the papaya salad and the tilapia but I did get a taste of the papaya salad sauce because i had spilled some all over my car and got some on my fingers, on the way home. Not ashamed to say I licked off the juice because I had nothing else to wipe my hands on. What little taste I did get, tasted nice to me. Lots of people asked about where I ordered the food and costs; I was more than happy to let them know in hopes that they will also support 52 Market & Trading. Looking forward to using them again in the future.

I've ordered catering from this place multiple times for work and family celebrations and they usually are able to accommodate even when it was a last minute order (and the prices are VERY affordable- cheaper than other Asian places). Insanely good food with adequate portions. The spices really reminded me of the taste back home.read more

We accidentally discovered Cheng Heng Restaurant when I brought my daughter shopping in the area,…read moreand it turned into a very memorable experience. A waiter from Hong Kong introduced himself and mentioned that he and his wife are co-owners of the restaurant. He also shared that Cheng Heng is the only Cambodian restaurant in town. When I told him I was from Malaysia and wanted to try something different, he immediately recommended two off-menu items: Cambodian Khmer soup and taro sweet rice dessert. Both were amazing. The Khmer soup reminded me of otak-otak back in Malaysia: rich, comforting, and familiar in the best way. The taro sweet rice dessert reminded me of bubur cha cha: smooth, fragrant, and deeply nostalgic. We also ordered several dishes to go, including Fried Rice with Prahok Ktiss Sauce with shrimp, Nhum Salad with no celery, and Plear Salad. I enjoyed the salads very much, and the fried rice had a unique and tasteful flavor. My daughter said she still preferred the Thai version, but we both appreciated trying something different. The ambiance was okay, but for me, the food matters the most, and the service definitely made the experience stand out. Another fun surprise was meeting two Malaysians from the same town where I was originally from. How cool was that? People sometimes ask me why I either go to the one restaurant I really like in town or cook at home. I often joke that it is my "eat or die" spirit from Malaysia: I would rather wait for food that is truly good than compromise on something forgettable. It is not easy to find authentic food that is genuinely good, especially when many places seem to invest more in marketing than in real taste. For me, good food has to be honest, flavorful, and memorable. Cheng Heng felt that way. Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience. The food felt authentic, the service was warm, and the off-menu recommendations made the visit feel personal and special. I would definitely go there more regularly in the future. Cheng Heng is a place I will remember and return to.
