Our 3 year old enjoys the following: -the spiderweb -jumping pillows -the corn pit (which has an accessible ramp) -the stacks of hay -the potato sack slides (HUGE hit) -the flying ride -the inflatable bounce house -the farm animals -the train I love that there are 3 other family fall themed ride options. The cows are my favorite! I wish I could give this place a 5 star but this last visit we lost 2 kids in our group because the hay stacks have two exits. I wish they could block one side off. Also, a SOBER, careful adult in our group almost got plowed in the head with one of those hammers from the strong man game while she was walking by a man doing it. First time in Homer Glen for me. I always like corn mazes, games, cider, beer, etc. We were there during the day. It was chilly early but then warmed up a bit. It actually was crowded. There were instragrammers galore (ug). Definitely don't wear fancy clothes and shoes to a corn maze or unpaved areas with mud. The corn maze had a weird set up, and somehow we exited through an entrance, haha. We had a couple of beers and bought some cider donuts (delicious). We also did the tractor pulling rides. We didn't do the hayride, but they had cute pumpkin and cow carts you sat in while being pulled by a tractor. Admission wasn't bad, either. Just be prepared for instragrammers in the way taking selfies and little kids running around (for those dinks out there!). read more

This place was packed on a Saturday...for me personally it was too crowded on the 1st weekend of October. I would recommend it for kids ages 3 and up. We came with my one year old and there wasn't a lot for him. He LOVED the corn pit though. He could have been in there for 2 hours. There was a corn maze, we went in the big but came out the small...3 different types of hay rides that was confusing about which one you were in line for...with a long line. They had an Elvis impersonator performing at the performance tent but it was freezing in there. Overall a good value but too crowded for my liking. read more

Eh, Konows has gone downhill. Half the menu items were not available, hot dog stand didn't have hot dogs, the wait for the grill outside was long and it seemed unorganized in general. The farm felt different than it has in the past and it's more expensive. I probably won't be back. read more

Great for all ages, not just kids. Extra points for being dog friendly. If you want your money's worth go on a weekday where it's less expensive and less crowded. It's a bit small and disorganized. This is probably one of the better corn mazes in the area. My husband and I went here to enjoy some fall activities and there are a ton offered here; especially if you have kids. They can climb hay bales, ride the cow train, play games, and go on the jumping bean. However, adults can do a ton too! They offer a wide variety of alcohol and live music in their barn. You can go on the hayride, get lost in the corn maze, pet adorable animals, play games, take cute pictures, and shop in their store. They even have great opportunities for photo ops to post on your instagram. To top everything off... you can bring your dog! We were able to enjoy a fun fall day with our puppy. Now, having a dog with you does limit the things you can do. After all, the dog cannot go on the hay ride or cow train; yet, you can bring them in the petting zoo, which I thought was really cool. You can even bring your dog in the barn with the live music; however, it was pretty loud. I loved having my puppy with me!  Overall, I thought it was really fun with great options for things to do. It is still really pricey though. Definitely come here if you have kids. read more

We came here on a Sunday so the place was pretty packed and there was like a 5 minute line for the tickets but it went by quickly! This was my first time going to a pumpkin patch so I have nothing to compare to ...but I had a lot of fun!! There were a lot of fun activities for the kids ...but we went mostly for social media pictures and I highly recommend this place if that's something you are looking for also. There were a lot of cute spots for pictures with pumpkins, corn maze, animals, etc! If you go here, you must try the apple cider donuts here!! They are so worth it!!! Went there this past weekend- Just wanted to see the band- Still had to pay the full $18 admission. Tent was about half full. They probably would get more people in if they just charged a smaller admission to just see the band. Had a few drinks, and after about an hour the bathroom inside the bar area had to be closed- we were there when they first opened and this happened. Definitely would rethink if I were having a wedding here- don't want to use a Porta potty if I am attending a wedding! It was 90 degrees out and hotter in the tent- they had a fan on the band and a fan on the Veterans that were set up in a corner for donations and nothing going for the customers in the tent that were watching the band. Half way through they wheeled out some sort of cooling unit that did nothing at that point- Just seems like they don't really care about their customers anymore- too bad used to like this place! read more

It was "meh". A lot of the areas need to be cleaned and maintained. Workers need to be friendlier, too. We went today, 10/15/2022 (Friday) from 11am-2pm. $12 per person (adults and kids over 3 yrs old). Not bad. The good: + Unlimited hayrides (truck, pumpkin, and cow designed rides): Kids had a blast! + Children's activities: jump area, playground, mini bike, spider web, inflatables + Kids had fun at the pumpkin house and photo ops area, animal barn, corn pool The needs improvement: - Staff need to walk around/canvas all port--potties area. The one by the hayride and petting zoo had no soap. Eeew! We need soap especially after petting animals. - Sundae/ice cream station and train ride were not operating - Small store just had candy and big store had decorations but on the pricier side. Wish they had a mixture of cheap, medium, and pricey items. -Limited food options: funnel cakes, apple cider donuts, slushies, etc. I wish they had more savory food (hotdogs, burgers, pizza). We could have eaten lunch there. Instead, we left and ate somewhere else. - Apple cider donuts were expensive for the size. $2 for a donut the size smaller than a 3 yr old's palm. You can buy them 6 for $10 but I was turned off on how small they were. Jonomac Apple Orchard in Malta, IL has better apple cider donuts. Cody's Apple Orchard in Marengo, IL has 6 donuts for $5.50 and they were bigger. - The politics: keep it out of a children's entertainment venue. I "back the blue", too. However, I don't think it needs to be trumpeted in a venue where you need the support of customers with different political beliefs. There was even a sign for a candidate for mayor. That does not belong in a children's entertainment venue. Keep the signs more child-centric, colorful, and fun. A sign encouraging children to read, have fun at Konow's, a pumpkin joke, a corn joke, etc. would be a better touch. The ok: - Corn maze was ok. Nothing exciting. Appreciate the small and big maze options. The biggest turn off: - unfriendly employees: Small store and big store, the women manning the stores never gave us a hello when we entered. I even said hello to the lady in the big store but she just stared. She continues to stare at all patrons going into the store and never said a thing. The big store is the last place customers visit before they leave. The lasting impression that left us with did not make us want to come back. - Some area need to be cleaned: the wishing well had trash in it and the office by the wishing well was dirty. Overall, it was "ok". We had the most fun in the tractor rides. Hope they make improvements on the place to make it more customer friendly. Another option: Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm is close by and has more attractions (albeit more expensive). Also, Bengtson's employees we met were all super nice. read more

Don't make the same mistake as us and go on a Monday! First-time visitors and thought Mon would be great, less crowds and open all day. Were we wrong. Barely anything was open. It's so small, too. The only thing we did was pet a couple of goats, kids went on a rickety pumpkin tractor train ride (the train ride was closed) and let the kids play on a big wooden play set. read more

It had a good pair of corn mazes with some good music and some good apple cider donuts and generally delightful fall atmosphere. The only problem was that short corn maze and the long corn maze had their signs switched, so there were some crying toddlers who didn't know why they were going on a 2-mile hike rather than a .3 mile hike. Also, the promised in-maze punch-card checkpoints weren't there, which hurts my completionist soul. But, other than that, it was a good time. read more

Really nice and fun place to come to embrace the season. It's not just corn maze, there are plenty of other things to do, especially if you come here with children. My favorite part was visiting the farm and seeing all the animals - from Turkey (here children can get a good idea of what some of them will be eating next month during Thanksgiving) to lamas and the most precious piglets. This season they have two mama pigs with their piglets and as of today the piglets of one of the mama pig are only two weeks old. They are so precious !! A little tip would be to bring extra hand sanitizer because they ran out of it there when I visited and they also ran out of soap. And after touching all the animals it's definitely good to wash your hands before you decide to try their pizza or absolutely delicious cut apples with caramel. Yum yum!!! Have fun! read more

I don't know how much of this was the fault of Konow's versus my own expectations, but I don't think I'd return. I've been to many Pumpkin patches, but NOTHING as massive as this place - I had no clue what I was walking in to...but after parking a half mile away from the entrance, I had a heavy suspicion that this would be a pretty insane trip. So - 3 month old, 3 year-old and husband in-tow, we entered, after waiting 10 minutes in line to buy tickets. When we entered, my first thought was "I'm going to lose my kid." It was just so, so packed. My 3-year old was overwhelmed with the crowd and options, and I feared that in a blink he'd be gone. In the 90 minutes we were there, we only got to enjoy a few areas because of how many people were there. I feel like a place like this could benefit from timed entries - that way everyone gets to enjoy the exhibits and not wait in horrible lines. My BIGGEST gripe though - this is geared towards families, many with young kids - but there were only options for port o potties? I had to change my infant in the cold on our stroller because there was no where else to go! For the price, I wouldn't return given that it was so crowded and you couldn't enjoy the areas because of it. read more

I was at the Ghouls Night Out last night and I was very disappointed with their choice of entertainment. I have attended in the past two or three of The Witches night out which was great everyone enjoyed their self it was a lot of fun. Last night was extremely busy in a very large amount of 20 plus year olds.... the band They selected was great but you couldn't get in the Red Barn to even hear it because there was so many people and no one had masks on. I was truly disappointed in their selection of entertainment after the band they had male dancers and they brought the young girls up on the stage and we're laying them down and humping them. I have no objection to this type of entertainment if it was in a bar but this is in an establishment that welcomes families and portrays the family image on Facebook this was so unnecessary I'm very disappointed in them read more

We visited Konow's last fall with our little pup for his first pumpkin and had the best experience! The farm is awesome, well maintained, well stocked and the staff could not have been nicer! The donuts were amazing! We had about a billion pumpkin options and the corn maze was pup friendly as well! It's hard to find a lot of dog friendly orchards and pumpkin patches in the Chicagoland area and this was perfect for us! We can't wait to come back next month and bring our fur baby for round 2! read more

Been to many corn maze festival things but this one is just quite disappointing especially after this one woman that I talked to because I couldn't find any handicapped bathrooms so I asked somebody. The lady that was in the bar barn and she said that it was out of order or closed down or something like that. Which is beyond horrible because I've seen a number of people here in wheelchairs. I can get away without using a handicapped bathroom but there are some people that can't and their needs to be accommodations for them. How can this place even be open to the public without them? So I said something to the lady on the way out that they need to have handicapped bathrooms for people and she told me to hold on and then gave me a phone number to call. I guess she's gotten this complaint before. I called 7083018845. I spoke to a lady. I asked her for her name and she said I'm not going to give you my name because you're yelling at me and I'm going to hang now. Wow. First of all I certainly wasn't yelling. Why would I be? I simply think that she was just trying to avoid giving me her name and getting off the phone as soon as possible. What a waste of time this was and made worse by this woman. read more

We always do a different corn maze every year. I will say they're well-organized, nice, food was perfectly fine, and liquor rather then Bible tracts which is always amazing. The corn maze was sort of a blah. There were two different mazes nothing interesting, No riddles to solve or fun diversions. Just walk through them and be done. Nothing wrong with this place if you need something close to the city or the western suburbs it will get the job done but there definitely are better mazes in the area. read more

Today, 10/29/21, my son's school had a field trip planned for Konow's. They reserved and paid for the bus to get there only to arrive and find out they are not open. After fifteen minutes Konow's was not answering any phone calls. The school is already on a thin budget and the fact that Konow's never even called the school to let them know they were not open is just horrible customer service. What was supposed to be a full day outing has turned into a nearly 2 hour round trip bus ride and a school having to pay for a bus they could have cancelled if Konow's just simply called to inform the school they were not going to be open. I will never recommend this place to anyone for any reason. read more

We came to Konow's with my 16 month old toddler for one of the 2 days in the summer when they are open for "Summer Fest" for $5 entry per person (2 and under are free). It was a little rough as the heat was scorching at nearly 90 degrees. We were looking forward to more toddler-friendly activities, but the only appropriate activities were the Hay Rides and the Cow Train. Both of the train rides were really fun and good value as we were driven pretty far into the farm and could really appreciate the fields. However, the organization of the waiting line was subpar. We were made to wait in the direct sun and there weren't any signs to delineate the 2 train lines, just a folding chair to separate the 2 lines with a staff person that had to keep repeating to everyone that showed up which line was which. When the trains arrived, people didn't really stay in a formed line to board the train so there was a lot of cutting :(. Some signs and roped off waiting areas would go a long way. The "jumpy pillows" were fun but we mostly had to hold our toddler as she was too young to maneuver herself. The food options were ok--a truck with hot dogs, pizza, mac n' cheese, sno cones, funnel cakes and lemonade. The lines for face painting were super long. We could have gone to the petting zoo but by the time we were done with the jumpy pillows, a snack from the trucks and the hay rides, we were so hot and tired. What I was really bummed about was that the corn pits were closed in the summer! I was excited for this alternative concept to a ball pit as my baby loves those. I think this place would be a lot of fun in the fall but hopefully with a little more advanced planning to manage crowds better. read more

After searching online, Konows seemed the best place nearby Chicago to make a trip for season festivities. After visiting, I can verify that this is the closest I have felt to being at an actual farm, not a tourist trap like Goebberts and Bengtsons. The hay bails and corn piles are fun to play around in. You can bounce on a giant air tranpoline. The hay rides actually have hay and go into corn (crazy right?!?). Best of all, they trust the patrons enough to let you drink! Wine, beer, cider while the kids go play. You would think this may be a staple of other fall fests but I can assure you, many fear for parental misconduct and opt for no alcohol. Sadly the corn maze was a bit trampled by the time we visited. And the corn is a bit low so you can easily see visual markers (like the barn) and the sound of the crowd to guide you. I'm sure that if I was 20 years younger none of this would be of issue. We decided to leave here early to visit Bengtsons and learned a good lesson. Stay here! read more

It was my first year coming here. I was tired of This is a small gem in Homer Glen. The location is right by I-355, which makes this a pretty good location. Don't judge this by the website because I think it's not that updated. When I was there, I found out that there was something additional. There are so much attractions here. There was an inflatable Wipeout "sweeper", a pumpkin train, a jumping pillow, a hayride, a straw playground, and a cow train. Your kiddos can play around at this farm for hours! Their apple cider doughnuts taste great! It has a great apple cider taste. The service at the desk was also good. There was smiles on the employees' faces, and the staff were friendly. They can even let your child in the front row of a tractor, but you have to ask. All in all, this is a great pumpkin farm that you should try. I will come back this year. read more

No social distancing, number control on indoor areas, and only cashiers are wearing masks. Other employees and even someone identified as a manager were not wearing masks. Employees manning the outdoor grills were not wearing masks or food gloves. "Face masks required" clearly means as you enter and then they don't care. Many people were walking around and in all areas of the farm without masks on. Their website states that they are taking Covid precautions. They are not! Literally. I believe they only post that so that they could open. The cashier was not wearing a mask neither was the guy directing the parking. They appeared to be at full capacity. No one monitoring the number of guests. Maybe 20% of people wore masks! No enforcement what's so ever. Then, I saw people entering without paying through the market. This was the absolute worst experience I have had during this pandemic.
