The atmosphere was festive without feeling crowded, the sound was crystal clear, and the whole evening felt really well organized. Nephrok and the BT ALC Big Band were both outstanding -- tight, lively, and a blast to watch. Altogether, it was one of those nights you don't forget. To make matters worse, Google Maps directed us to a condo building about three blocks away. We spent nearly half an hour trying to find the restaurant before finally locating it, hungry and tired from the ride, only to learn it wasn't open. What was supposed to be a fun date-night adventure turned into a frustrating experience. I completely understand that hours can change, but if your website lists specific hours, customers should be able to rely on that information, especially when they're traveling a significant distance to visit.

I ordered popcorn which was fresh and buttery (yum!), beigneits which were stuffed with Yuzo fruit and served with Yuzo curd (these were hot and so delicious!), and a very refreshing spritzer. Prices were fair and I was very satisfied with my food/drink. I will definitely return to this venue again and have signed up on their email lidt so I won't miss any announcements. I made a reservation and we were seated right away after we entered the restaurant. Our table was situated on the first floor so the area was small but we had enough space between table to have a private conversation. I started out with salmon tartare and it was my least favorite of all. I found the pita to taste somewhat stale and I ended up not eating it. Salmon was good but I did not find that cream cheese added to the dish. It might be a matter of personal preference but I wished I started out with something else from the menu. My shrimp scampi was delicious and I would come back for this dish. Pasta and sauce were great and shrimp were a nice size. I then went with the beef stew. I found the pastry to be somewhat salty but it balanced with the stew that was slightly underseasoned. Maybe it was intended to be that way. It was a decent dish overall. I loved the strawberry panna cotta. Their rhubarb chutney was beautiful and the dish was a great way to end my meal. I would come back to this restaurant in the future to try out their regular menu.
