My wife and I love this place. We bought some stogies at the shop upstairs and came down to the lounge to sample our recent purchases. The lounge is super cool. Lots of seating and quiet corners to sit down and have a long, leisurely chat with your friends (or in my case, my wife). Our server, Aphrodite recommended an amazing cocktail to us - basically an Asian twist on an Old Fashioned. It was excellent - really showcases the creativity of the bartenders at this place. Bottom line is this place has great service, good wi-if, lots of seating, good AC/air filtration and a decent selection of cigars upstairs. What more could you want?

We stopped here as we wanted to checkout a speakeasy in NH. The bar itself is really cool looking. Unfortunately, that's where anything "good" ended. Between 5 of us we ordered four Old Fashioned Cocktails and a sidecar. What we received was a sidecar and one Old Fashioned and 3 runt Old Fashions. (See picture). When asked, we were told to let the ice melt and that would bring the level up.... I seriously thought we were being trolled. Would not recommend and didn't even try to make it right. Waste of 80.00 on 5 drinks

Love this place! Located downstairs below Federal Cigar in Portsmouth. Entrance is on the left side of the building on Ladd Street.. Great atmosphere, excellent service, fine cigars, craft beers and cocktails.

A great selection of seafood apps, and a variety of meat options in the entree section (steak, chicken, lamb, short rib, duck) and a couple of vegetarian items. Something for everyone. It was a Tuesday night and pouring rain. We arrived without a reservation. It was very busy. The bar and restaurant were full. There were two side bar seats available which we happily took while we waited for a table. We had a delicious cosmo and a glass of prosecco while we waited. The server let us know our table was ready, and we did not need to settle our bar tab before going to the table. I love that! I find it inconvenient when restaurants ask people to do that. The server even took our sopping umbrellas and put them in the umbrella stand by the door for us. So nice! We tried 2 appetizers, the Caribbean Curry Mussels and the Seared Ahi Tuna. I can't decide which one I loved more. Both were fantastic. The broth the mussels were in was so flavorful, rich, salty, not spicy, coconut deliciousness. I wanted to eat it all like a soup. There was no bread served with the mussels to soak up the broth...which I would have loved, but not having it did save me some carbs. The seared tuna was absolute perfection. Very slightly seared and served with a well dressed seaweed salad and two sauces (coulis style ) a charred jalapeño aioli and a mango coulis. For dinner we shared the arugula salad with strawberries and goat cheese (although there was very little goat cheese) in a delicious poppy seed vinaigrette, and the miso Marinaded seared salmon with sticky rice and mango salsa. The salmon was fantastic...perfectly cooked, very flavorful, the sticky rice was so delicious and chewy, and the mango salsa added sweetness. I love that they split the salad into two dishes for us. I love when restaurants do this. It's a nice touch to acknowledge the server was listening the we intend to share, and to make it easier for us to do so. And we shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio. I will be back!

Make sure to book a reservation as this place is really busy and popular!…read more Items I ordered (as of 5/2026): - Lobster Mac and Cheese - $34 - This was really good. Fresh lobster with a great cheese combination. The crisp of the ritz crackers really brings the entire dish together. Good amount for the price. Would recommend. - Baked Artichoke Dip - $16 - Deliciously cheesy without everything feeling too heavy. Good amount of pita bread too! Would also order this again.

The service was okay, the Hostess was quick to find us a table which was awesome since we were a party of six, so that was super appreciated. We sat down and drink orders were pretty quick but they did take awhile, which shows that they really do make everything from scratch. Their drink menu had some really cool, unique drinks on it and I honestly wanted to try them all. If they had a flight, I would have absolutely not been able to say no. We were super impressed with their bourbon selection, and they actually had pretty good prices too, so we were able to try some great options. It was the perfect night cap for our group to indulge in one last drink before bed. Awesome spot to chill and chit chat.

N'awlins Bar & Grille is back open in NH after a 7 year hiatus, this time in Concord, in the former…read moreChuck's BARbershop space. N'awlins Grille was formerly located on Elm Street in Downtown Manchester from 2013 to 2016. There hasn't been a Cajun/Southern restaurant in the Concord area in 3 years, so N'awlins Grille fills that void. This Cajun restaurant & bar is a speakeasy bar located in an unmarked building near Eagle Square. Same as before, upon walking inside the front door on Low Avenue, look for the phone to the left in front of the mirror and pick up the phone to be let inside through a discreet door by staff. This bar and restaurant has a chill vibe with string lights across the ceiling, painted jazz musician caricatures on the walls, and exposed brick walls. The long full service bar lit up in pink & purple, booths and tables, and a small performance stage in the back corner with piano. They will feature live music on certain nights, including jazz and zydeco. Upbeat jazz music plays over the speakers. The food menu offerings include a decent variety Cajun style dishes including jambalaya, crawfish etoufee, po boys, red beans & rice, gumbo, okra & tomato stew, plus appetizers (fried frog legs, fried pickled vege, snow crab clusters, shrimp remoulade, hush puppies, alligator andoulle), burgers, chicken sandwiches greens salad, and desserts (beignets, cakes). The prices are moderate, most entrees in the $15 to $26 range (in 2024). The food menu 10 years ago seemed bigger, and the pricing in 2013 was about half, per my old Yelp posting in October 2013. I enjoyed their crawfish pie and alligator bites at the old Manchester location. The bar offers 8 draft beers, can/bottle beers, wine, and cocktails. After hearing that N'awlins Grille was back in open in a new location, I had to check it out. After I was let inside from the cold night, I took a seat at a booth directly under the heater. The staff introduced themselves and I was asked if I've ever been to N'awlins Grille when it was open in Manchester. I've been there a few times with my buddy back when he was still living in Manchester. We were also greeted with bead necklaces there. I took about 5 minutes to finally decide on the Jambalaya ($21 plus tax) served with skillet cornbread. The Jambalaya came out 5 minutes after ordering, nice and hot. The jambalaya "stew" had a mix of shrimp, vegetables, tomatoes, seafood, chicken, andoulle sausage and spices over rice. The dish had good mild spicy flavors, and the sweet cornbread balanced the flavors out. The shrimps were very soft to eat. For the dessert, I got the Beignets ($7 plus tax), which consisted of 3 fried dough pillows smothered in powdered sugar. This hot dessert was a great choice to end the meal. I haven't enjoyed Cajun food since last summer on my cruise. I'll try some of their other Cajun dishes and Po'Boys next time!

Salad- perfection Parm fries- literally best I've ever had. Hush puppies- ok here's where things get a little weird. They are AMAZING. BUT, they aren't traditional.
