My wife and I did start out with fried pickles for an appetizer which came out piping hot but lacked any seasoning or much flavor. Entree wise my wife got the loaded chicken nachos and I got the spicy chicken sandwich. My wife very much enjoyed the nachos and chicken, all cooked very well. The chicken sandwich was solid but in the world of many chicken sandwiches I have had a few that are more stand out. Overall though minimal complaints about the food, and I suspect their pizzas are outstanding. Our real complaint would come down to the service which really was a lack of service. A host sat us right away and it took minimal time to place orders for drinks and food. Also not an absurd amount of time waiting for drinks or food. It was the fact from the time we placed our food order we did not see our server again til we finished eating and waiting around 10 minutes after for a to-go box and check. It's been a very rare occurrence for us but the service experience truly made us feel invisible. Not a single time during eating did we get asked how our food was, if we needed anything additional. Mind you while they were not our server multiple workers walked by us many times taking care of other tables while we sat waiting for the check and also once we did want to pay our check as well. This was also at the point it really started to clear out and was by no means busy. We had tasty food but the lack of service really soured our experience. I would say if you want to check them out for their food it should be pretty good and hopefully your service is a better experience than ours!

While the weekend breakfast buffet is active, the late night breakfast buffet was on pause until the UNH school year resumes. The pricing is moderate. I stopped by the Blue Flame for dinner recently. The place was not busy on a Wednesday evening during the summer. I was seated at a table near the front window and requested an ice water. For dinner, I ordered the Blackened Salmon ($24.99 plus tax) served with garlic/basil mashed potatoes, green bean almondine, hot rolls, and a side salad. The side garden salad came out first with dressing on the side, served in a small bowl with a mixed leafy greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded carrots. The Blackened Salmon entree and hot dinner rolls came out next. The blackened salmon filet was a good size, served hot, tender & texture flaky, slightly spicy. The garlic/basil mashed potatoes were hot, soft and chunky. The fresh green beans with almond slivers and butter were a bit lukewarm though. The 2 dinner rolls were soft and chewy. After I finished and cleaned my plate, I was presented with the check which was $27.11 (cash)/$28.06 (card) with tax and before tip. Overall, a good filling dinner on a slow evening. I will have to come back for the late night breakfast buffet and hopefully their dinner menu would have more choices.

The pizzas are a lot more expensive than I thought an individual-sized bar pie would be ... and the pizza was honestly nothing I couldn't make at home in a toaster. The best of the pizzas we ordered was the roasted garlic pie. The garlic was sweet but also had the typical garlic taste. Hamds down, I woukd order this again.
