Despite the name, there definitely aren't 1,000 steps it's closer to about 250 but don't let that fool you. You'll still feel the burn on the way back up! I love bringing my kids here because they're soccer players, and running up and down the stairs is an excellent workout for building endurance and strength. I usually only make it up once because it's no joke! If you're looking for a free cardio workout with a beautiful ocean view, this is the place. The beach itself is gorgeous, with clear water, soft sand, and stunning cliffs surrounding it. It feels a little more secluded than some of the other Laguna beaches because you have to make the trek down the stairs. That's part of what makes it so special. I've visited several times around 6:00 AM, and it's always been peaceful. It's never felt crowded, although you'll definitely see other people getting their morning exercise on the stairs. I've also gone during summer evenings around 7:00 PM, and it's still a beautiful time to visit with cooler temperatures and incredible views. I still need to check it out around midday to see how busy it gets. A couple of things to keep in mind: there are no lifeguards on duty at all times, so be cautious if you're swimming, and the climb back up can be challenging, especially if you're carrying coolers or beach gear. Wear comfortable shoes for the stairs and bring plenty of water. Overall, this is one of my favorite beaches in Laguna Beach. Whether you're going for a workout, relaxing by the ocean, or enjoying the incredible scenery, Thousand Steps Beach is absolutely worth the climb.

I absolutely enjoyed coming here with our grandkids. Our first visit the Splash Pad was closed…read more It was to our surprise it was open is time, but with social distancing in place. They closed the water area every 30 min to allow the next group of people in line in. But before they did that the lifeguards wiped down all areas of the play structures. It was a process but nonetheless the kiddos had a great time. Luckily, I had extra clothes for the grandkids to change out of, otherwise we would have to play in the dry playground while hearing and seeing the kids enjoy the Splash Pad. The playground has their rules and regulation posted on the gates. The restrooms are just outside of the play area, so very convenient. There is nice green grass in some areas and some picnic tables and stationary benches. I believe on of the rules is that you cannot set up canopy's, but I did see people set up a couple. I don't know if they have someone police the area if people are abiding by the rules. It wasn't a bother to anyone but I'm sure there is a reason for having that rule. The play area is nicely padded. The play equipment is nicely spread out where you could really view your littles as they run free with your close eye on them. There are different areas with equipment that is age appropriate. For sure I would return. Plenty of parking, it is clean and the grandkids and I love it here!

After speaking with other people at the park, we were told the City of Temecula does not currently have plans to reopen it. This information definitely needs to be updated online so families know before making the trip. Aside from that, the playground itself is very clean and has a nice rubberized surface for the kids. There is a massive toddler playground with its own separate swing set, along with a larger playground for older kids. It is honestly a nice park, and the closed splash pad is the only reason I am giving it three stars.

We arrived earlier than the appointment but Bentley was already there waiting for us! Since it was still chilly in the morning he patiently waited for us until the weather gets warmer. He also spent his own time driving another jet and teaching my daughter how to operate the jet properly and all the great tips. He made us feel safe and at the same enjoying the rides! In town visiting my friend in Redlands and we wanted to do some jet skiing for the afternoon. It…read morewas between Lake Perris and Elsinore. We decided on Elsinore based off the reviews for the lake as well as the ability to reserve our jet skis online. Reserving was easy, 5 minutes, got our email confirmation and we were set. Garrett and Albert met us at the entrance/clubhouse and they showed us where to go from there. Met them at the loading dock area, shared some local stories, showed us the dos and do nots and we were off. Jet skis were a blast, no issues, we touched 55 mph a few times. This was my first time driving a jet ski and had no trouble getting the hang of it. SO much fun. The lake was empty before noon on a Monday but got a bit busier and choppier around 1. The views were great, some wildlife, and we will definitely return and would recommend. Five stars!

Only bad thing is they don't allow you to dock the skis anywhere on the lake, except near them. Staff are cool although once I dealt with a child ... he took my card, license and everything, which I thought was odd. I've rented from them multiple times. I would recommend them as well.
