It was also effective as I now have 20/15, coming from 20/50. So no more squinting to read road signs! And I get to wear my sunglasses whenever(if you have to wear glasses, you know this is a big deal). The instructions for post op care are clear. The entire team at LasikPlus did a great job with communication, scheduling, and answering any of my questions. Specifically, Dr.Iwanyk who performed my procedure, told me exactly what was happening every step of the way and I felt reassured the whole time (and by whole time, I mean ten minutes). Was told that could take up to 3 months to go away. Procedure: It took around 10 minutes or so, eyes fully numbed, then the Dr. pushed some kind of metal rings around my eyes to keep them open, that was awkward. At times I couldn't tell if my eyes were open or closed, as sometimes my vision went black (creepy). Couldn't feel the flaps being cut by the cold laser. When Dr. was pulling the flaps back, what I was seeing looked like it was going up and away from view, also vision was immediately very blurry while flaps were opened. During the laser sculpting, it smelled like burning hair, although no burning occurred. They say it's just a side effect of the laser reacting with molecules. Vision came back when flaps replaced. Could see everyone right away when I got up, but very blurry. Overall very happy I had this done. Keep your expectations in check, read all the fine print, etc. This is a life changing experience.

The procedure worked, as our primary eye doctor was sure it would, but we were completely underwhelmed by the surgeon's "info" and recommendations and the prescription for the follow-up eye drops was never even sent to the pharmacy! The ophthalmologist at Seattle Children's Hospital and multiple optometrists after that all missed it. Spokane Eye Clinic Valley did an *amazing* job. Dr. Ellis caught the double-vision right off the bat, and was able to give me a prescription for prism glasses that fully correct that, my astigmatism, and my near-sightedness. Her professionalism, kindness, patience, and knowledge, as well as that of her staff, was quite refreshing. She made sure my prescription was exactly what I needed, and even made the necessary adjustments a month later (commonly necessary with new prism lenses) without charging for the visit. Now I have my 3D vision back, and my double vision is gone! Alongside that, the office staff and opticians are all friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They worked with my insurance, and handled everything wonderfully. I cannot recommend Spokane Eye Clinic Valley more highly. Quite simply put, if you have *any* eye troubles, you NEED to see Dr. Ellis. She and her staff are the best of the best in my experience.

This is apparently an emergent issue - I'm losing vision in my right eye, and now my left eye has begun showing symptoms. My referring optometrist sent the paperwork by fax in June 2026, it is now September 2026 and nothing has happened. When I call I reach the main office, I have spoken with several people including a gentleman named Thomas who is very helpful, but because this is an emergent case, I must be transferred to triage, every time I get transferred over to triage The girl tells me something different - first it was that they only have a cover sheet, although my physicians office has called each time to follow up and ensure that every page of the fax was received, and most recently she told me that the referral was now dated too far out and I needed new clinical paperwork. I've asked to speak to her supervisor and each time I've been put on hold and the call never goes through or is dropped. From what I've heard, Spokane Eye Clinic has gone drastically downhill recently and nobody is receiving their referral or any follow ups, so I'm not the only one. What a horribly disappointing experience to have. I guess it's no big deal, it's just my vision.

I'd been told "come in if you have any issues!" So I did, but was not told that this would be considered a new visit - and it was charged to my insurance company and incurred an additional $50 copay that I was never informed about until I got the invoice in the mail. It would seem like if you have a strong reaction to something that happened during their treatment, you would be seen without it incurring another charge. OR at least you would be informed of such. The glasses that my husband and I ordered from them scratched easily despite paying extra for scratch protection - and I only ever used the cloth given to me. After shopping around we realized we could have saved hundreds going elsewhere. Also keep in mind that one of their employees is "hands on" - that is will touch your shoulder, arm or get into your personal space. While I'm generally really easy going, it happened often enough and bothered me enough to have to ask to have someone else help me - the request was granted, but the nurse I spoke to acted like I was being unreasonable for making the request, and i had to continue to make the request every time I came in - apparently it was not noted in my file. I hate giving negative reviews, but thought it might help others to share my experience. I will be taking my business elsewhere and encourage others to do so as well.

Those places all declined to provide a sample pair unless I had an exam, even though I explained I had my current prescription. When I called Northside, Megan answered the phone. She was fabulous! She asked me what my prescription was, found that they had samples, and provided them to me after purchasing a box of contacts, exactly what I needed! When I arrived at the store, a receptionist warmly greeted me and explained that Megan would be right with me. I sat in their lovely waiting room for a minute before Megan got me my samples and ordered me a six-month supply, all for tremendously cheaper than I had paid for that same box at other stores in the past! Megan solved a major problem for me in minutes and with great kindness and respect. The customer service at Northside Vision Center is truly fabulous, and they've made a lifelong customer out of me!

Dr. Rebecca Jangula is great. However, staff member Mary manipulated me into an unwanted, unauthorized $39 procedure that my insurance would not cover. I never authorized any extras. Then office manager Heather refused to release my medical records until I paid for it. This is against HIPAA and Idaho law and down right dishonest and unethical. They lied and manipulated me solely to add the extra charge (likely so Mary could earn a commission). They cared only about their money, not my finances. Buyer beware. I won't be going back or referring anyone to them. $39.00 just cost them way more in lost business
