It's so crazy to me that I can drive and see street signs now without needing glasses, something I haven't been able to do in the last 10 years. The procedure was quick and painless. I just remember looking for the green lights that they told me to look for. Waking up in the middle of the night when the numbing wore off that hurt really bad, but thanks for the Tylenol PM being offered I fell right back asleep. I woke up the next day feeling much better. It was definitely worth it. They load you up with eye drops, which is extremely helpful because my eyes feel super dry, which is to be expected, but it's not unbearable. This is also something that will go away with time. you will definitely have the urge to rub your eyes, do not do it. Feels like a bunch of dust or sand just went into them, just load them up with more eye drops. If you've made it this far through my review, I noticed some negative reviews prior to my surgery that they were just in it for the money. I would like to personally say I completely disagree, I told Dr.Perry one of my main concerns was the blinding lights at night and he told me the lasik will fix my astigmatism and my ability to see, but if all I want to do is fix the lights that has to do with my pupil size and that he would just stop now and not proceed with the surgery. I truly feel like he gives expert medical advice and for him to even give me the option to not proceed before following through with everything gave me even more reassurance that they weren't just in it for the money. I never write reviews this long but for something so important as eye sight I felt like this was necessary. I was referred to them by my boyfriend and I will be referring them to anybody I know that is considering Lasik.

They did Lasik YAG surgery on each of my eyes at different times to help restore a little vision loss which has kept my eyes at top performance. After Dr. Moresky retired Dr. Stock took care of me until he retired. I continue to go to them because although the name may have changed and my doctor changed they give the same great care! I don't remember too much of the procedure, after they put me under that is. I do remember they asked if I use marijuana because it took them more than expected to get me under.... I guess using ADHD stimulants may have a similar effect, well at least that is what I hope because I am a medicated neurodivergent person. I prefer the Glendale location because it is easier to get to, and who does not want to drive less with the rising gas prices? The staff is friendly and helpful. Get your consultation, because you have nothing to lose, unless you don't have to wear corrective lenses anymore like me.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at Petelin Vision…read more After waiting an hour and a half, I finally had to get up, leave the exam room, and ask the staff if anyone was actually going to see me. That alone was unacceptable and showed very little regard for my time. When doctor Petelin finally came in, things somehow got worse. Rather than taking a moment to review my chart and understand my history, he immediately started asking questions and making statements that were factually incorrect. The whole interaction came across as arrogant, dismissive, and completely lacking in professionalism. I became so frustrated that when they finally went back to review my chart, I got up and walked out. I told them plainly that they had wasted my time. After sitting there for an hour and a half only to have the doctor come in unprepared and make incorrect assumptions, I saw no reason to continue. Patients are trusting you with their time, money, and eyesight. The least they should receive is basic professionalism, preparation, and respect. Unfortunately, I experienced none of that here. I will be taking my business somewhere else--somewhere that actually values its patients and understands that their time matters. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Petelin Vision.

The vibes were awful in the waiting room. the front desk staff was understandably tense and unfriendly and the waiting room was full of grumpy old people all loudly using their cell phones talking about how long the wait was. If you have other options I would strongly advise people against using this facility.
