Great food and great customer service, the prices are good and go hungry you get a lot

I've been in 4 times for breakfast now since they moved to canon and all I can say is they need a full time hostess there is not alot of room to wait for someone to seat you and it takes them a good while to seat you. It took a while to get seated, took longer to get a waitress, and took way too long to get our order. When we finally did, it was a solid...ok. The portion size was good, the food was hot, I got exactly what I ordered and the price was reasonable. All in all, a solid ok. Given the total lack of great breakfast spots in Canon, we will be back, although not often. read more

We stopped in from our drive to Texas and we were surprised that it was located in a cute downtown area! You can tell it was an older restaurant and a lot of the clientele were senior citizens, which was so cute. I will say that the service could've been better and faster, but overall it was a cute place and homey feel. I ordered the breakfast plate that came with the meat, and egg and potatoes which was very filling. The waffle was very crispy and hot, but the potatoes could've been a little more seasoned and colorful. Overall cute little and worth trying out. read more

On our trip back home (I'm a native Coloradan) we used to eat at two sisters in Florence, but my Ma said to try this place... I don't know why she didn't mention the biscuits and gravy sooner!!! It's my favorite food and they do it so well here!! The decoration is very cute and homey, lots of copper kettles and cute coffee signs! We were greeted when we came in and the waiter was very sweet and attentive to our kids, he made sure that we were happy with the options available (my kids like to order extras like a side of fruit or bacon!) and he served the kids first (love when places do that!) The green chili on the breakfast burrito was spicy and tasty, the biscuits were fluffy and hot! My kiddo didn't finish her waffle, but it was split between the rest of us and we loved it!! So good!! No complaints!! We will be back when we visit again! read more

Stopped in on our way out to be tourists and this place is a little hole in the wall u wouldn't expect to find. The place was packed with customers and wait staff was super friendly. Food prices are super inexpensive and food was super tasty! The chili gravy was sooo good and something I've never even thought of. So good!! Definitely recommend! read more

i like this place the only problem is they need better coffee . their coffee is to weak. and i am a coffee person

6 cars in parking lot, not really busy. My husband and I walk in immediately get seated. We order drinks, they came in good time. Then all downhill from there. Very long wait for anyone to come take our order, then an even longer wait for the food to arrive. Thry got my order wrong. The gravy had already set and my eggs were cold. No cheese inside omlete just a sprinkle on top which appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. Hash browns very oily to where I couldn't eat them. No one ever returned to check on us or ask for refills. We tired of waiting on check so went up to cashier without the check. We're good tippers but that day we left nothing. We'll deserved in my book. We had no clue if we even had a waiter. Lol Vety disappointed. Do not recommend! read more

Brought my boyfriend to town for his first time and knew we had to visit Kopper Kettle. Everywhere we go he tries the chicken fried steak and said this was hands down the best one he has ever had !! I have enjoyed coming here for years but now they've got a new customer when we're in town. :) Update: we went back after the first visit for one last breakfast before heading home and we got the same thing and of course it was amazing! Florence is a very small town. This was an excellent café, serving both breakfast and lunch, no dinner. They include both a kids and senior menu, with several choices of half orders. The place is very clean and well-staffed with friendly servers. I got the French toast with add-ons of whipped cream and pecans. They use Texas toast, and it was absolutely delicious! Husband got the no meat traditional breakfast with two eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. This is an excellent café to go to if you're antique-hunting in Florence or just in the mood for some delightful small-town hospitality!! read more

I've read the few poor reviews and I'm going to say they don't truly do Kopper Kettle justice. It's a great restaurant with good customer service and food. Well, at least for breakfast. I've never done lunch there but for breakfast you won't find anything better in the area. As for the bad reviews it must have just been an off day because they run that place like a well-oiled machine and recently added another seating section to accommodate the crowds, which can get big especially on the weekends. Go and enjoy some decent food and friendly service. Is it cheap...no, nothing is these days. read more

Florence is such a cute little town with lots of vintage shops and friendly locals. We even saw a pet chicken hanging out with her human on the main commercial strip right outside of Kopper Kettle. We were looking for a place for breakfast, and a fine local made the recommendation. He said it used to be something else, but has the same chef. We walked in to find plenty of room for our group of five. Excellent service and lots to choose from on the menu. I got the garbage potatoes and added mushrooms and spinach. The green chili that comes with it was so delicious and flavorful that when we went back the next day I got the same thing! We'll definitely visit Florence again and even though I usually prefer to try new places, we'll go to the same place and I'll get the same thing. Three cheers! read more

As a local to the area there aren't gobs of restaurants to choose from but it so great when one of your local diners is also just great. Kopper Kettle is a newer option to Florence CO and we are so happy for that. It's become a regular diner for us mostly for breakfast. We love a good weekend breakfast run now and then and we always head to KK!! My favorite is the eggs Benedict with a nice thick slice of ham and perfect hollandaise sauce. Well folks if you are looking for McDonald's and JELLO with rude crusty service you have found it! This place is ridiculously priced. Small hamburger no fries and water will cost you $15.00; add a so called smothered burrito and water and you auto hit $35.00 plus. Sure I looked rough I just popped in from the ranch and had been working all day and decided to meet my lady. We usually go to Oak Creek for lunch, but I agreed on a change up. This short, dark haired wig was the rudest waitress to date. Yammered something about how the bus boys get you water and was rude until she scanned my large bills in my wallet as I paid. I asked my girlfriend how her meal was and she said the green chili taste like Mrs. Dash Jello; which it actually did have the consistency of JELLO! Hard pass. Very disappointing. Watery coffee even after they said it was a new batch. Food quality is worst than McDonalds. They mixed old gravy with new gravy, and both of which shouldn't be consumed. Constant fans blowing in a small packed room that still holds all the warm air in it. Waitresses kept passing the buck on who should serve us, and even after one spoke to us, they told us to wait for the other server. We definitely waited. I was ready to leave by the time the lady came back and decided to take our order. Do yourself a favor, look somewhere else to eat. This won't start your morning off in a good way. read more

A friend and I went in and we sat for about 7 to 10 minutes before we got our menus and something to drink. We then set for about another 10 minutes and I told who I thought was a server that walked by that we were ready to order. She informed me in a real short tone that she did not take orders. Well, we set there for about another 10 minutes and when a person went up to the register I went up to tell her we were ready to order. She completely ignored me (not saying anything like "just a minute" or "be right with you"). Nothing! We walked out and don't have plans on ever going back. read more

Not child friendly, went in with my wife and 16 month old daughter. Used to come here all the time before the change in owners. Took 10 minutes to get drink order, another 40 minutes to take our food order. After waiting the first 20 min for the server we asked the very friendly bus lady for the server to take our order she informed us that the server is just very busy but will take our food order ASAP. In that time our daughter became more and more fussy, server blatantly ignored us, took 6 other table orders that all came in 10-40 minutes after us. It's hard to forget about a table with a fussy Toddler that's just hungry. After all the other tables received their food, I finally walked up to the server who was walking away and she asks us if we're ready to order now. After finally receiving our food, the hash browns where undercooked in the burritos. The pancakes were rubber even our toddler wouldn't touch them. After finally receiving our check the server tells us to not mind the syrup that was all over the check, wouldn't bother us usually but after such a horrible experience it was the final straw. My wife is a server at a local business and even she was frustrated by the poor customer service and bad food. read more
