Excellent dentist with awesome staff I had a visit with Dr Kord office for first time for general examination and dental cleaning. The office manager Lupe was very kind and attentive. Dr Kord, she really spent time and explained everything in a calm and caring way. On the day of cleaning the dental hygienist Yang took care of me so well. I had previous experience in the past which wasn't pleasant . Yang was so good so good, I told her I may come back next month for another cleaning ! this was my first time coming to Kord Dentistry and I can't say enough great things. The entire staff was so nice and accommodating to me and my service dog. Dr. Kord is one of the nicest people I've ever met and my exam was very intriguing because of the digital diagnostic exam. I always want to see what the staff sees and this was a really cool visual. This was my first time taking my toddler to this dentist. Arrived at 8:45 for a 9am appointment, as we are new patients and I figured that we'd have some paperwork to fill out. Got everything filled out quickly and then we waited. And waited. At 9:30, I approached the receptionist to ask if they knew how much longer it would be. She told me that she was still working on putting my info in the computer. . When I mentioned that we'd arrive early to avoid a paperwork delay and had now been waiting for 45 minutes, the other receptionist chimed in and said that this process took time and if I couldn't wait, then I could reschedule and come back another time. After being called back, our experience got better temporarily. The hygienist and Dr. Ekhtiar were wonderful with my child. Very patient and sweet. And the only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1. At check out, we encountered the same receptionist. When I inquired about their Yelp promotion (check in on Yelp and get a free kids electric toothbrush) she told me she didn't know anything about it. I then showed her the sign hanging in their waiting room and showed her my "Yelp check-in" and was told that she would have to ask someone about it. She did and returned to tell me that I would need to write and show her my review first. I again showed her my check-in confirmation (attached photo) and she said I needed to write a review. At this point I just shook my head and walked out as laughed that we were arguing over a $5 toothbrush. The receptionist is the heart of any medical office. They are the first and last point of contact for anyone visiting your office. They should be efficient and well trained in not only their jobs but in good customer service. In the future.... -Your patient's time is valuable. If an appointment (or data entry ) is running more than 15 min behind, at least have a conversation with the person sitting in the waiting room to let them know what's going on. - If your patient asks for an ETA after waiting for 45 min, don't be rude to them and suggest that they reschedule. Apologize for the delay (no one did this) and at least attempt to give them an idea of how much longer they will be expected to wait. -Don't have signs in your front office asking people to Yelp you in exchange for an item if you aren't going to honor it. This is just silly and makes your customers feel used. Well, now that I've written my review, I wonder if I can get my toothbrush..... read more

STAY AWAY FROM HERE. This review is long overdue. I just had my fourth procedure done to fix the damage Dr. Ekhtiar has done to my mouth. In 2016 she put a set of veneers and a bridge over several of my front teeth. She knowingly did this when I had adult teeth that had not grown in which she claimed never would. I have had three dental professionals saying this was gross negligence and misinformation on her part. Her work has resulted in emergency surgery for an abcess, several root canals, and immense cosmetic repair. This has cost me thousands of dollars and has resulted in immense dental pain. I am taking legal action and they will not give me my X-rays. I am writing this so that hopefully no one will have to experience the dental hell that I have. Dr. Ekhtiar does not care about her patient's well being. Do not take your children here. read more

Really surprised at the service I received here. Called to get my son's first cavity filled, asked for an appt the same week since he said he had tooth pain. The admin told me they didn't have any treatment appts for 2 weeks but I could bring him in to get prescribed meds since he probably has an infection. All I said was tooth pain, I didn't know admins could diagnose over the phone?? Pretty scammy to get extra co-pays by asking for more trips to the dentist. Don't have time to do a 15 min filling but I can bring him there for 15 minutes to push meds? I took my son to a diff dentist same day and they just filled the cavity. read more

So my wife has been bringing the kids here since they were babies with just a couple teeth. Fast forward 10 years or more and I get to bring them here. First time I brought them. And I was blown away at how much dentistry has gotten better since my days as a kid. They have video games - guilty as charged - yes, I played them. And seven or eight flavors of cleaning toothpastes and flourides. I was wanting to try them myself! The doctor/dentist was very patient and sweet with my kids especially the nervous one. As luck has it my nervous boy ends up with a small cavities and Dr. Ekhtiar suggested to watch 2 of them and only fill one. She said this because its small in size and that he would lose the baby teeth in six or something like that months its not needed to put him through extra dental work. My boy liked hearing this and so did my wallet. We only had filled the permanent tooth which she stressed was important since its not falling out. I thought he was gonna need laughing gas to relax but her calm voice and actions made him comfortable enough to relax and get it over with. She has a calmness like a box of valume. Dr. Ekhitar and everyone that works there is fantastic!!! They are all super nice and truly do care for you. I travel from a long way because it is well worth it. They treat me awesome and that's worth the drive. The office is so fun and cool too. I'm 27 years old and love the Disney decorations. When my boys were young i needed to find a dentist, but wasn't convinced my dentist was the right one. I asked around and finally my sister told me about this office. I went and have been going there ever since (almost 10 years)!!! My oldest is now wearing braces and i am sure my younger one will eventually need them. We LOVE this office! The staff and doctors are so friendly and helpful. They will answer any questions you have and explain anything to you. My boys never argue with me to go to the dentist because they don't mind going! I visited Dr. Ekhtiar for a teeth cleaning and it was honestly one of the smoothest experiences I have ever had! In the past whenever I had teeth cleaning done, it was normally after several years just due to my laziness. Because of this the doctor usually would have to numb my mouth. We all know how that feels after the procedure is done - your mouth feels like it's dragging behind you. But during this visit, it went so smooth and that no numbing was even necessary! I have no idea what she did or how she did it but I didn't have any pain during the procedure and because no numbing was necessary I left the office feeling like a million bucks. My daughter has been a patient here for years and she loves it here. She looks forward to getting her cleanings. They have a so many flavors of special toothpaste for the kids. Each time she tries a new flavor. Her favorite: watermelon! The staff is so super nice and helpful. Dr. E is my girl's favorite of all the docs here. She did a gum surgery on my daughter and a few fillings and NO PAIN!
