I now have taken both of my kids to see Dr. Jenny, and both have come away with great experiences. They are 1 and 5 and as you can imagine were scared to have someone look at their teeth. Dr. Jenny made sure both of the felt comfortable and explained in a very easy way what she was doing (checking for sugar bugs). Do not go to this dentist if you want to be treated like trash. I have never had a root canal and have had cavities filled until I went to her. Now I have to have 3 root canals since I've seen her if that even fixes the problem. Not to mention another dr she referred me to had to shave down the crown SHE put in my tooth. Then tries to call and gaslight me. When I complained my teeth were hurting after she filled them she sent me to someone else. Once I complained enough she actually wanted to see me to fix it... what are you going to fix the damage you did? She didn't care until I said I was going to take action. Horrible dr horrible. Let me first start by saying I am not a big fan of the art of Dentistry. I've been known to leave deep handgrip impressions in the Dentist's chair during simple checkups. I selected Bear Coast Dentistry solely based on Yelp reviews and friends; I was not disappointed. Dr. Jenny Liang and her staff are very professional, accommodating of my fear of dentists, and created such a relaxing atmosphere while doing an excellent dental procedure, I left, entirely comfortable in scheduling my next appointment. On this occasion, for this review, I bit on something, and a quarter of my molar broke and was just hanging, causing me all sorts of discomfort. Of course, this happened in the heart of the pandemic and, why not, on the weekend to boot. I haven't been to a dentist in years and I'm so happy I went here. They answered all my questions and I didn't feel ashamed to go in after not going. my only complaint was that when i had x-rays done the square block pressed into the roof of my mouth causing a lot of discomfort. However I would still recommend this dentist 100%. Dr Jenny is great. I think Krisi was my dental hygienist and she was fantastic, so friendly, happy and willing to answer questions. I just had some work recently done with Dr Jenny Liang. She made me feel comfortable during the whole procedure. Going to the dentist isn't always my favorite thing to do, but honestly this practice has always been awesome to come to. I've been with them for some time now, and they communicate to me options of a short term and long term plan I need during my checkup, which helps me see the bigger picture in my treatment. They let me decide how much work I can have done and comfortable with during each visit. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. They make you feel at ease from the minute you start walking back to a room. I also receive appointment reminders via text which I feel is an awesome way to remind me. Sometimes I get busy and going through my emails isn't always on my priority list of things to do, so I think it's a great way to communicate through. I originally had an appointment set recently and the staff called me way in advance to reschedule for an issue. That allowed me to free that time frame up for other things, and plenty of time to schedule a time that worked best with me. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist if your new in the area, or would like to try something new. I don't think you would be disappointed from your visit. I have had good and bad dentist in the past, and they are my favorite by far. I wish all my dentist in the past were this great. I had a wisdom tooth extracted and it was shockingly painless. I've heard of horror stories from friends who have had their wisdom teeth pulled out but my experience was quick and couldn't have been more pleasant. My filling came out 2 days later and my root canal is more sensitive then before, so I called to complain back in September after it happened then I received a letter from Dr Jenny saying she is terminating our relationship, but still wants me to pay $346 for a job i have to still do. Dave is actually a second-generation dentist (and a Stanford alum), so he's been exposed to the field for decades. Yue Dentistry Stay away. Once Dr. Bohney sold his practice, the care I use to receive went down hill fast. I never had cavities but was told on several occasions that fillings were needed. I went for a 2nd and even 3rd opinion to other Dentist and was told by both to this day I still have NO Cavities. Guess Dr. Yue was just in need of money. I love love love this dental office! The receptionist in the front Chalae is super sweet with her cute little phone reminders, and her eagerness to help me. She's great! Dr. Yue (wife) was so nice about everything. Like most, I'm terrified of the dentist but Dr. Yue was very focused on making me feel comfortable and at ease with everything. All the equipment was very up to date and pretty impressive compared to all the past dentist offices I've visited. Beware of unannounced price increases. My wife and I were clients of Dr. Bohne for six years. When Dr. Bohne retired, the Yue family purchased the practice. Eight months ago and four months ago I paid $90 to have my teeth cleaned. Today I was charged $104 with the explanation there is now a fee for the dentist to look at my teeth after the hygienist finished the cleaning.
