Dr. Updike and her staff were VERY patient with me. I was going through some personal stuff and it unfortunately rubbed off on her staff I was kind of cold/rude because of mood swings. I eventually got a lot better. Despite that they were still nice to me EVERY single time I came to my appointments. They really did grow on me and I will miss them especially Dr Updike, front desk lady with a great smile, and Tabby. Good people! Updike was a natural choice for me since my daughter had gone through a very satisfying experience of getting her orthodontics dine here. While it felt a little awkward tk come in where most of their patients were/are pediatric based, my experience as a seasoned patient was overall very satisfying. Can I give 6 stars? I had two kids go through Invisalign and phase 1 braces here and I could not have had a better experience. Dr. Updike is caring and professional, and the team is not only great at what they do, but they run a solid operational business. When I first was shopping around for an orthodontist, I went to a recommended place that while friendly, made me wait 45 minutes past my appointment time and forgot to follow-up with me until a month later. Dr. Updike's team welcomed me in right away as a new patient, and has continued to make me and my family feel welcomed at every single visit thereafter. They have been able to accommodate my kids' busy afterschool schedules, have a fun office with books/video games/contests, are always stocked with snacks and candy, and are the sweetest to my often crazy 4 year old toddler. Going to Dr. Updike's office is his favorite! And the results? My kids teeth look fantastic and we will return again once my third is ready for his straightening. read more

Both my wife and I are dentists and one thing you don't learn much about in dental school is orthodontics, so when it came time for ortho for our daughter we had to choose an expert. Dr. Updike and staff were awesome. The ladies at the office were always so nice and welcoming and I am sure it wasn't easy for them with us breathing down their necks at every appt watching everything they did like hawks.
