I had one of the worst experiences with Kore1. I was contacted for a position, had a phone interview, then timely respond to further questions sent in an email. After this collection of communication, I heard nothing. Two weeks later the same recruiter sent me the exact same initial email about the position. When I replied to remind him of the back and forth we had had, again, I heard nothing. A second recruiter sent me an introduction email about the same position, that I responded outlining the previous one-sided communication about the same opportunity. Needless to say, the follow-through from both people is severely lacking, and communication is key to showing interest in a candidate's ability and opportunity to fill their positions. In all honesty, it reminds me of how RHI works - or doesn't work as more accurate. read more

I'm not authorized to hire anyone from a recruiting agency, so they're wasting their time spamming me with potential candidates. You'd think this is an easy situation to understand, but apparently Kore1 struggles to comprehend this. I've been stuck on their mailing lists for years. No number of unsubscribe requests or replies asking to be removed has worked, so I gave up trying long ago. I'm sure they'll keep spamming me with the resumes of people I'll never hire until the day I die. That's fine, I accept my fate. But at the same time, at least I can get a little satisfaction leaving them a poor review -- and hopefully you read this and choose to work with a different agency who is graceful to those who decline to do business with them. read more

I would give negative stars if possible. Working with Devin has been a huge waste of money and time. First they discourage you for any kind of tech test, and encourage you to hire candidates based on one or two 10mn interview over the phone, because they have a 'replacement' warranty in case the first candidate would not be fitting. Well, of course the first candidate is not fitting, and by a large margin, and then they ghost you after sending you a few candidates no more qualified, or who did not read the job description, so yeah, beware, warranty is not real, and if you don't keep the first candidate, you're out of luck and you lost your money. It could have been great, they seemed nice and competent at first, ended up being a complete disaster and the worst recruiting experience we ever had in the history of the company. I even tried to contact the said Devin through the person that referred him to us, since he ignored completely any email, to try to understand how we could work it out, I was basically being told to go pound sand by Devin through a proxy, not even in person... read more

Job Seekers, While I am not in the market and didn't have any plans of leaving an updated review, I had the chance to speak with a large volume of staffing agencies and felt somewhat obligated to share some information that may be very helpful to some. To my surprise, not all staffing agencies are created equal. Please do your own research and figure out what makes the most sense to you. This particular business does not pay for holiday pay regardless of the length of assignment, while others gladly offer holiday pay after the contract worker puts in x number of hours. (It may come as a surprise to those who have previously accepted work through other agencies.) Facts of this sort can be overlooked but it's certainly one to keep in mind as it's best to sign with agencies who care about the well-being of their "employees." read more

I worked with KORE1 to find a job in the technology industry in Irvine, CA. I found the company to be extremely professional; balancing the interests of the employer with my own. They didn't try to sell me jobs that weren't going to work for me and pushed the employer (with numerous follow-up phone calls) for a quick interview and offer letter. I am transferring from out-of-state and was able to go from first phone call to accepting a job offer in less than 4 weeks. I was able to get the salary and benefits that I wanted on the first offer letter because of the work they did behind the scenes. At first I did not take it serious because 99% of the recruiters that contact me, will go unheard from shortly after initial contact. Jim set me up with a phone interview which went pretty good.
