I had a ratatouille moment here. Best selleongtang in town. I was taken to when I was child and at this dish. I hurt myself bc I didn't want to leave anything behind. Selleongtang is a very mild bone broth soup, so you season to taste adding salt and the pepper paste brought it to a higher level. The banchan was spot on. Now I'm torn, the selleongtang was so good not sure if I want to branch out but with it being so good I know I need to try another dish when I go back. My friend wanted to try this place and I came along with her. We ordered the pajeon (seafood pancake) which was phenomenal. The flavor was great and it was nicely and crispy on the outside. I've never had cold noodles with broth before so I ordered the naengmyeon (cold noodles in icy broth). It was quite nice for a new experience. The broth was savory, tangy and slightly tart and sweet. It's perfect for any hot Florida day as there are pieces of frozen broth thawing as you eat. I tried a piece of the frozen broth and it had a shaved ice-like texture to it. Ambience was pretty chill here and the waiters were helpful and kind. Also, portion sizing is a bit on the larger size. read more

The place is small but had plenty of room. It's in a shopping center. We arrived about an hour before closing and they were attentive and kind. The order was taken and food came quickly. Everything was delicious! The only thing that didn't meet expectations was the kimchee jigae wasn't as spicy and we would have liked but as Koreans that's not the first time. They just opened two weeks ago, and so far so good! I was running errands in the area and heard that this place was open. They have a limited menu so far which consisted of soups and bibimbap. We opted for the bulgogi au jus. In my mind I thought it was the regular marinated meat you would normally have in KBBQs... but this was different in the best way! What a surprise to get it served accompanied with rice noodle, bok choy, and green onions. They cook it in a unique pot where they lightly brown the meat and then cook it in a savory slightly sweet broth. The server was kind enough to cook it for us too! My wife mentioned she really liked the noodles and the server came back and added more. The flavors were delicious and homey. The meal was for 2 but we were stuffed! Very simple ambiance inside. I actually enjoyed the metallic table and settings as well as the Korean slow jams playing on the TV. They said that they'd be adding more menu items like jjangmyeon and will eventually do some KBBQ grill items. Rooting for them and hope they continue to grow. I found out about this place from social media and am so glad I found it! It's definitely a mom and pop place with a local vibe. I went in for a late lunch and was the only table there. The server was very nice and their food was fresh and delicious. Their kimchi was so good, not only I got seconds, I also bought a container to go. Food was excellent, fresh, piping hot and was served promptly. I work off of Keller in Maitland and we stopped by at lunch, service was excellent and we made it back within our hour lunch. So I reallyyyy wanted to like this place but was disappointed. I got the Wooguhji Galbi Tang and the flavor wasn't that great, it tasted more like soy bean paste soup, needed some more spice. The wooguhji was not good. True wooguhji should be cooked down almost to the point of mush but it just tasted like boiled Napa so it was stringy which wooguhji is not. The redeeming factor was their kimchi! The best I've ever had. They did just open so maybe they're working out the qinks but I'm gonna go back and try their other stuff because the kimchi was totally worth it! The decor is very much resembles a Korean bar/ bbq with the round metal tables with the grill in the middle and stools for seats. They have regular table too. We were a party of 6. When asked for water they said they didn't have any. Odd for a restaurant, while other tables got water. Service was terrible. Not great for a family get together meal environment. Food was mediocre. Seafood pancake was thick with batter and not crispy enough. There are new owners, you can tell the food is BLAND. The old owners had someone from the main store teach them how to prepare the food and was good. Now no, fried chicken was dry overcooked. No seasoning no marinade just plain flour coating, small seasoning after cooked but one side only. Bulgogi was cheaper meat with sauce poured over it when cooked not marinated. Kimchi was good but realised it was bought next door from the Asian market. Gimbap had very little filling and again no seasoning. Hope the food gets better or the place will close soon. 2 stars for nice waiter and clean bathroom. Sad part all the seasoning are sold next door and they also have cook books. read more

I loved this place! After living in Korea I was really missing the cuisine, this place is truly 100% authentic. Possibly better than the many place I ate while living at the ROK. The place is very friendly and served just like in Korea with the many delicious sides. They don't serve alcohol (due to a church being next door) but there is an authentic market right next door (same owners and personnel) that you can purchase and serve yourself while eating. They are nice and they have very great food! The Korean aunties are super sweet and frequently checked up on us to ask if we needed more kimchi or anything else. The food tastes delicious, homemade, and authentic. We had a bunch of food left over and they helped us pack all of the leftovers, even helping us take home some kimchi! K-Jumak is a new Korean restaurant next to Woosung Korean grocery store in Orlando, Florida. As a Korean person who has been to many different Korean restaurants in Florida, Georgia, Texas, Virginia, NYC, and LA, I am very excited for K-Jumak because it offers unique items not found in other Korean restaurants in Florida. Notably, it serves unlimited beef broth used in cold noodle dishes, a rare find outside of specialized places like SamBong Nengmyun in Koreantown in Duluth, GA. This broth was incredibly warm and delicious. Their banchans were much higher quality and better taste than many other Korean restaurants I tried in Orlando, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale. Their Kimchi was very delicious just like the ones I had in Koreatown in Duluth, GA. For entree, I tried the SunJi Haejang soup, which is not available in other Florida Korean restaurants. It was absolutely authentic and delicious! It was comparable to the versions I enjoyed in Korea Towns in Duluth near Atlanta, GA, Carrollton near Dallas, Tx, and Fairfax County, VA. I strongly recommend this place to all native Koreans and Korean Americans and to those who are looking to try more advanced, authentic Korean items rather than some basic Korean items like Korean bbq bulgogi, Korean chicken or Korean corndogs. read more

All their advertised times are wrong. Apple, Google, their website and their phone line all have different operating times. We even called prior and they told us to be there by 8pm for seating. We walked in and she told us it was closed. We explained and she still ensured she made us a meal to go. Her customer service was good. We drove home and the soup was vile. It tasted nothing like what we had in Korea. Such a disappointment. If it's a good drive away from you it isn't worth the drive. read more
