Izziban is our go to spot for whenever we have guests visiting Orlando. We typically do the all you can eat standard menu option which has a variety of meats, appetizers, and sushi rolls to choose from. They also have an appetizer bar where you can fill your plate with Kimchi, fried rice, and other sorts of Korean BBQ appetizers. The selection tends to change slightly every time we visit. After being seated a waiter greets you and explains how ordering works if you've never been before. In the times I've been I've never had a poor experience with their employees! Of the meats my personal favorite is the marinated sirloin. I like the flavor of the marinade. They also have a small bakery attached to the restaurant which is worth visiting as well.

Came here with local friends and it was phenomenal! It's a one-stop shop for AYCE Sushi and KBBQ with unlimited sides. I loved the self-serve banchan bar--it's so much more convenient than waiting for refills! The drinks were "Instagram-worthy" and delicious; the Izzy Pop came with a giant bubble that was super cute. We went with the premium option for the high-quality beef cuts, and it was well worth the price. Plus, there's a bakery attached where you can buy locks for the bridge. Such a cute date night idea!

Good KBBQ, especially if you're new to KBBQ and just want variety. They include both sushi and KBBQ in their set menus; and also have a separate menu if want ramen or other a la cart entrees. Meat and buffet options are pretty good overall. The location is great -- right on the water with lots of parking. Snowbean is also next door for dessert. Price-wise, I think you get decent variety and options; the quantity of food you get is very worth it. But I just think the meat quality could be improved, especially compared to some of the other KBBQ spots around town. Izziban is huge inside. They have a pretty good ventilation system, so it's not too smokey; but you will leave smelling like KBBQ. Overall, a solid KBBQ spot and lots of people love it.

We visited Izziban on Friday night and though our experience was good; it did not live up to previous experiences. Walking in we waited a few minutes to be greeted and once we were we chose the basic all you can eat selection. Grabbed quite a few items from the salad bar and sat down. Overall, food was ok. Rice and noodles seemed like it had been sitting out and were hard, cold, and lacked flavor. Same thing with the soup (cold and lacked flavor). The meat provided however was very tasty (though the steak had some tough pieces mixed in). The restaurant itself was fairly clean but the floor is very very slick. The tables plug into outlets on the ground and some were exposed in the walkway; I can definitely see someone tripping over them. Still a good experience but not like previous visits.

Came here for ACYE sushi and kbbq. Sushi was mid and KBBQ selection was fine but I've had better quality meat at other places. Banchan did not include fish cakes that day. Still a good place to eat if you're hungry

Izziban is my boyfriend and I's go to late night sushi place. This is always one of our top ten places for a quick bite. The staff are always kind, but busy. We love to sit at the bar and take advantage of their happy hour. I am vegetarian and they have some great options! This time I got the spring roll appetizer, and two rolls (banana & veggie). My boyfriend got the seaweed salad, a few nigiri pieces and the Mexican roll. We also shared a bottle of soju. We were both very pleased with our options this visit. Total for visit was around $65, which we thought was fair for the amount of food we got. $15 of that was SoJu, so we spent $50 on food.

Pros: Ambiance is always killer. Make sure to ask for a table in the lakeside dining room. Don't let them stick you in one of the boring corners. Really beautiful view. Service is always good, too. Obviously, they try to slow you down so you can get full quickly, but it's not overly obnoxious. They keep the food flowing. Food is amazing. Out of all the AYCE KBBQ places I've been to, the meat quality is best here. This is the place to go. We always bring out of towners here. Cons: No real cons. If you can't handle the price, stay away. Tips: There are two price levels. Get the cheaper one. Even though the cuts of meat are better, they're just cut too thin for any palate to even notice. Don't fill up on carbs or sushi. Keep it meat-forward.

This restaurant is right on E Colonial, between the Rooms to go and Semoran Blvd. The only bad thing about this restaurant is the parking, everything else is great. They have succulent food, tons of fun times, amazing staff. There's upbeat music playing at all times and the videos of the song playing on the tvs, which makes it for a very fun time. I love Izziban....

My first Korean Bbq experience and it was a pretty good one. We went in a Saturday night and the parking lot was packed, I did have to wait for a parking spot but it wasn't too band. The restaurant was busy but still had availability for immediate seating. We did the AYCE option and it's not a bad value. Nice selection of meats and sushi rolls. My shrimp were the least favorite. I don't want to deal with cutting heads off and peeling them. They were really hard to peel. The marinated chicken and sirloin were really good. I loved the coco shrimp sushi roll. I did not care for the spring rolls. They were basic low end frozen spring rolls. And the buffet portion was a little confusing. A few signs were missing so I had no idea what I was looking at. But overall I would go back. They have a good looking HH bar menu, that I would try.

I love Izziban. Whether you're coming for a little bit of sushi or all you can eat kbbq, you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is such a vibe with light K-pop playing over the surrounding sound and on the TVs. I've also never been here and had bad service. They are so on it and check in regularly, but not too much. I just love it here.

Located off of State Road 50 / Colonial Drive, you may overlook this dining spot as it blends in with some of the shops and warehouses nearby, but you'll definitely be missing out if you do pass it! The parking lot is large and faces out to a lake and a view of the back side of the executive airport. It's a large building and when you walk in you'll see the host desk for seating. You can choose from AYCE menu options, sushi, or the bar. The AYCE is a fun dinner experience where you are able to use grills located in the middle of the table to cook a variety of proteins yourself with tongs and scissors to help make bite-size portions. If you opt for sushi you'll find they have a solid list of options for rolls. My husband has a shellfish allergy, and they were happy to help accommodate him with rolls that he could eat and also ensuring a safe kitchen prep for him as well. Service is always great here and the view of the lake is a nice bonus feature! It's very reasonably priced as well for the amount of food you get on the AYCE and the sushi roll size portions. Overall: A+ Love coming here and it's always a good time.

I visited Izziban for the first time, and it was such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Since it was my first time doing Korean BBQ, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but the setup made it super easy and fun. The quality of the meats was fantastic--everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. The side dishes (banchan) were plentiful and paired amazingly well with the grilled items. The service was also top-notch. Even with how busy it was, our server made sure our grill was swapped out when needed and kept the food coming quickly. If you've never been, it's definitely worth checking out for a fun, interactive dining experience with incredible food. I'll definitely be back! read more

My fiancé and I used to be regulars here, and this became one of our favorite happy hour spots. There were plenty of evenings where we'd grab seats at the corner of the bar, study for a few hours, order a couple of sushi rolls, enjoy a drink or two, and just relax. It's one of those places that's easy to spend a few hours without feeling rushed. The happy hour is definitely where this place shines. The prices are hard to beat, and the drink specials are well worth checking out. One of my favorites is their Soju margarita hybrid (I may be saying the name wrong), but it's incredibly refreshing and something I always recommend trying. If you're hungry, don't skip the crab rangoons, they're consistently one of my favorite appetizers here. The atmosphere is another reason we kept coming back. It's modern but laid-back, with a lively energy that never feels overwhelming. You'll often see birthdays and other celebrations going on, which gives the restaurant a fun, welcoming vibe. Whether you're meeting friends, grabbing date night sushi, or just looking for a place to unwind after work, it fits the occasion well. The staff has always been friendly and attentive during our visits, and we've consistently had positive experiences over the years. I know there has been some discussion online regarding recent health code concerns, but I can't personally speak to those, as they weren't something I experienced during any of my visits. Overall, I really don't have anything negative to say based on my own experiences. I ordered the bulgogi bento box with lo mein. The photo on Uber Eats had lo mein. Everytime I've eaten here it's had lo mein in the bento box. I called the and instead of helping me told me they're never served it with lo mein. Then where did that photo on uber come from? It's the same bento box but with lo mein. I told him I clearly remembered and instead didn't offer for me to talk to a manager. I don't eat sushi. Honestly I gave them a try after the whole rat infestation but I'm done with them. They clearly don't care about customer satisfaction. read more

Came here for a large group dinner. 3.5 stars. The food was generally fine but I was not a fan of the very limited offerings on the Korean bbq side. The standard menu price was typical, which is what we did. They have a decent happy hour for drinks. I was able to get a HH cider while waiting for our table to be set up. There is a self-serve bar for dipping sauces and some hot and cold sides. Lots of sauce options. I wanted to try them all but they don't want to be with wasteful. I'm sure there's something for everyone. I was looking for banchan and got kimchi and some other pickle. It did not have all the traditional banchans sadly. There were some Chinese-ish side dishes, like a lo mien. Personally I skipped all the hot sides since that's not what I came for. For bbq, there were two choices for meat. This was sad as I generally stick with beef. My table went ahead and tried both beefs, pork belly, and the shrimp. The sushi menu was meh to me. Not a lot of real fish rolls. My friends tried a lot of the appetizers and sides as well. Edamame, miso soup, gyoza, spring rolls. I didn't try but they all looked okay except for the miso soup which just looked like clear broth. Maybe the server brought the wrong thing. The service was pretty good. They weren't stingy with the meat portions were large when they brought them out. Our server had a large party (12 of us) and managed it well. A couple of orders got lost and mixed up but no biggie. Without even asking, they let us each pay separately, which was nice since it was a work dinner. If it was up to me I would not propose this kind of combo restaurant. That's just my preference. I rather have just really good bbq or sushi, instead of mediocre both. read more

Hi, I'm a chef from Texas and a huge fan of the art and taste of sushi. I came in at 1pm to an empty restaurant I was seated straight away but had to wait 10 minutes for my server to show. I did the all you can eat, but was very disappointed. the selection was all very basic rolls like the cali roll or the Philly roll. I also got some saké from a can that was 14 dollars after trying a few rolls (nothing new) I asked for the check. My total was 58 dollars. My server told me that a 15% tip was included in my total after handing me the device asking for another tip SO WATCH OUT. Keep in mind I only saw my server 3 times in the hour I was there and one of those times was for my check. Worst sushi iv ever had, worst service iv ever had, most I've ever spent on 4 (Cali rolls) maybe the kbbq is better but if you're coming for a sushi date you're better off getting gas station sushi. At least the cashier won't charge you 15% for just being there. **HORRIBLE** I tip on performance and my server didnt care since he gets 15% of every bill. Fire him, change business practices, stop serving sushi is my advice to them. My advice to you as a customer is to find another place. It'll taste Better be cheeper and you'll get better service read more

I stopped by Izziban with friends for the late night happy hour. I chose the cowboy roll wish was massive and tasty. The service was a little slow but then bartender was very nice. The restaurant was clean and well maintained for its age. Despite their being quite a crowd for that time of night, it was easy to carry a conversation as it wasn't too loud. This Izziban Sushi and Korean BBQ is off of Colonial Drive on Lake Barton near the Orlando Executive airport. Izziban is a small chain of all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurants with two locations in Orlando and one close to me in Lauderhill. This warehouse like building has been a few different businesses through the years, including a gay bar. The cavernous dining room has several areas of seating and a couple of bars. We were set up in the back area with a nice view of the lake and a screen playing K-pop. All of the tables have a grill in the center so you cook the raw meat they bring you. This was my daughters choice for her 24th birthday dinner and she had been here before but it was my first Korean BBQ experience. I like that it is interactive and it sparks communality and conversation as you talk about what to add and how to cook it. For dinner you have your choice of meats. We tried the beef brisket, marinated sirloin, marinated short rib, marinated chicken, and pork belly. To our meat we added garlic, onions, broccoli, and mushrooms from the salad bar. In addition to the raw meats they offered rice and two kinds of broth soup. The dinner menu also offers unlimited sushi (2 rolls per person at the table at one time). We also sampled the gyoza, spring rolls, and Krab Rangoon from the side section of the menu. We had more food than we could barely finish but for an additional fee per person you can add BBQ Boosters with even more food options. They brought my daughter a tray of mochi ice cream with message for her birthday dessert which she enjoyed while we availed ourselves of the fruit and ice cream bars for dessert. The chocolate dipped one was really good. We didn't partake of the cocktails but they looked creative and delicious. Instead we all stuck to water which was a good idea since some of the marinades were salty. An 18 percent gratuity was automatically added to the check when the bill was paid. You don't see a bill so I appreciate everyone who put that information in their reviews. Before we left we were brought adorable bottles of a probiotic that tasted like a tangy sherbet to help us digest the meal. We finished our evening taking some pictures with the lake as a back drop. Visited Izziban Sushi and Korean BBQ for their Wednesday happy hour BOGO special and had a great time! I brought a friend along for a business meeting. While she wasn't too impressed with the decor and overall look of the place, she absolutely loved the wine and the food--just as much as I do. I orderd the cowboy and she ordered the salmon crunch and her plate left empty. The sushi and Korean BBQ here are always on point, making it a solid choice for a casual meal with great deals. Came here for lunch and saw they offer Galbi Bento box for $15. It came with miso soup, salad and white rice with 6 pcs of boned in sliced galbi with a crab rangoon dumpling and a pc of mandoo. This is the affiliated restaurant for Snowbean. They are attached to one another. The wait time for the takeout bento was quite a wait - I think I waited more than 20 mins, The galbi was pretty tasty. The krab rangoon was good and the mandoo was not bad. The miso soup needed more miso taste. I didnt touch the salad but ate the cherry tomato. For $15 it was not bad for lunch. The galbi is better at Korea House IMO. read more

Whew some things have definitely changed since over 5 years ago! Don't get me wrong, Izziban is still one of my favorite Orlando recommendations. You just can't beat the AYCE KBBQ & sushi combo. Prices have gone up with the times, but I think it's still worth it, mainly because of the sushi. There are other KBBQ places that are cheaper and better quality, but those don't have sushi. Service can be slow at times, but the servers are always friendly and helpful. read more

I've always had great service at Izziban. My last visit was not different. We sat at the bar to take advantage of the happy hour specials. Our bar tender was attentive and quick with plenty of drink and food recommendations. The Korean fried chicken was a hit with my family, but the dumplings were a miss. Fun date night self-cook Korean Barbecue / Sushi restaurant with good food, great atmosphere and friendly service that is open till 1am. We got the $32pp buffet which includes sushi. Even though they weren't spectacular, I suggest a few of their rolls to help balance the barbecue meat flavors. Their K-BBQ experience is easier than most self-cook restaurants. Our favorite meats were the pork belly and the marinated beef; however, I don't think their marinated chicken is at the same level. I have been here a few times and enjoyed it but my most recent experience was pretty average. The meal just wasn't great. We got ribeye, shrimp, pork belly, marinated chicken, sushi rolls, and edamame. The pork belly and sushi were good but the rest was just very bland. Our server, Chris, was great. The vibe of the place is cool and the drinks are very reasonably priced, but it's tough to spend this amount on a meal and have it be just okay. I'll probably give Izziban another shot, but my expectations are lowered. read more

Izziban you will always be famous! This place has been a staple for me since I've been in Orlando. The Korean bbq is great for newbies and aficionados alike. I love that they have different options for different items. You may want to try. I do wish they had more vegan options on the Korean barbecue because Korean barbecue requires everybody at the table to order and when someone with dietary restrictions joins it's not possible. I love that it's almost always happy hour at the bar. I love coming in for the seasonal cocktails because they always have a drink for the holiday. The drinks have gone up in price a bit fitting the whole craft cocktail thing in Orlando, which I don't love but I pay it other places so I won't complain too much here. The sushi here is always fresh and delicious and the bartenders are super nice. Every service staff person I've dealt with has been so helpful. I also love that there's a coffee shop connected to the building and I love stopping on the way out. They are open late which again is great. This place is huge and has plenty of parking so I've never had an issue there. The quality has maintained for years and I'm so happy to see them still thriving. read more

Pros about this place: open until 2am, the bar is great, pretty inside, spacious with lots of areas to choose from, by a beautiful lake, connected to an ice cream shop, plays good music Cons about this place: 18% gratuity tip. I get that during the AYCE BBQ the servers do a lot, so the tips are for them but this is up to the consumers. Every server is different, every experience differs. As for my server, she did not deserve it. She left us neglected for the whole time. Didn't refill our drinks so we had to ask other servers. I felt like I could've been my own server at that point. Then I was forced to tip anyways. Another con is that I think the servers should be trained to explain how everything works BEFORE I get into this mess. We didn't know how to turn on the grill although using it was very easy. The meat takes forever to cook, but was not well worth the wait. Afterwards, they tell you that you get charged for what you don't eat... which is ridiculous! I've never came across a place like this, and I say that to warn anyone who decides to come here. When asked about anything, they make you feel inferior as if you should already know this information, sorry I don't have the information downloaded in my brain! Not to mention the weird spots on my meat, that's why I did not finish my food. The tongs had some type of residue like hard food stuck on them and so we just used our forks instead. This is my second time coming in to this location. I usually go to the one on sandlake. When I first saw the location, it look pretty shady from the outside but the inside was really nice. So don't judge the book by its cover. I came in for the midnight dinner for 19.99 They didn't have all the selection like the dinner side. It was good enough, had a few sushi selection which I was excited for. I came in with a few friends and we all ordered sushi and some of their meat. The rice for the sushi was dried out, was expecting something better. We started picking on it and only ate the filling of the rolls. The server was nice enough to take those away. Some of the meat were still frozen! Took forever to cook so we didn't get to eat those. I was expecting a good buffet and good tasting of meat. They also need to fix their floor... I'll be sliding all over the room. Our table even moved from everyone weight since the floor is so slippery. Was not comfortable in eating at all. The chairs weren't even comfortable as well. So I just moved to town, from a place that has a ton of AYCE KBBQ and a few AYCE Sushi places but didn't have them under the same roof. The sushi was delicious and the brisket was great. I found the Pork Belly just way too thick, and I opted for the Korean Seafood Pancake (Hameul Pajeon) it was ok, I couldn't say it tasted like my mothers but was acceptable. I would suggest any veggies going in it should be cut into straws instead of getting a round of carrot, it just messes with the texture too much, and I would lose the white onion and go green through out. The Spicy Marinated Pork (Daeji Bulgogi) was awesome. Another thing I feel it's important to note, they don't have Korean side dishes (Banchans) like traditional Korean restaurants but have those items located at a salad bar. I didn't mind at all, and they had a plenty to choose from. Kimchi Stew was great, it reminded me of my mothers! Last thing I would say, I feel if you go you should really focus on either sushi, or KBBQ otherwise you might not have enough room to taste everything! read more

I've been here for takeout before and that's it recently I went for takeout and nobody acknowledged that I was there. As I was waiting a rude arrogant skinny Asian guy who look like the manager came walking towards me kind of forced me to get out of the way and whispered take-out order and walked off rudely. What a jerk no acknowledging that I'm there are no telling me that someone's going to come help me this place has really bad service. I also hear that if you can't finish your food at the buffet they charge you an extra $30?? Really that is a form of theft because you can't force customers to pay for extra food at a buffet that they do not eat that they cannot take home. Surprised no one has sued the place or if they have legal grounds for these rules. Whoever owns this place and made these rules is a really terrible person that does not care about their customers at all. Korean BBQ is a great deal too - $20 each, all u can eat. There's a charge if u over order so just order one or two at a time. U can also eat from the salad bar with this. BE CAREFUL tho - they automatically add 18% if u have the Korean BBQ. I have never been here and had the same server twice so don't get attached!! You can sit at the sushi bar too if u want - I advise this!! It's quicker and they sushi chef looks after u. I always leave that dude a tip. Honestly, every single time I visit, I end up bringing more family members along because I just have to share the experience with them. Their K Pot and sushi options are phenomenal everything is incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. Beyond the amazing food, the atmosphere is top notch. I went in for the first time a few weeks and was honestly pleased by the amazing service and great tasting food. When we first entered, the building looked very nice (outside and in). They then brought us to the large dinning area. This is where things went down hill. The dinning area was atrocious. It looked like it wasn't cleaned since they first opened. After looking around I ordered a bento. The beef came out cold, the salad is just bits of hard iceberg lettuce and a small dab of dressing and the rice was not cooked all the way. The only redeeming quality of my plate was the miso that we had. If I ever go back I will not get the bento. read more

Our server Christopher was so great. He was able to handle such a big party with such ease as if it's nothing new to him. He was also very helpful with menu suggestions and how to order. The food and service here have really gone downhill! We went for the $39.99 option, but we ended up leaving after just 35-40 mins because the food quality was terrible. The salmon sashimi came out frozen and stuck together, lol. The meat quality was also disappointing, not like it was before. The steamed egg in the stone pot looked so messy when it came out. Hands down best k bbq in orlando! located roughly 10-15 from downtown orlando, Izziban is a very nice spot for lunch/dinner. I've been there a handful of times and always get treated with much respect! If you plan on going i recommend getting Freddy as your server. The portions were generous and the flavors were spot-on. It was exactly what I needed during a busy workday: quick service, delicious sushi, and a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. I really appreciated how efficient yet attentive the staff was. Even though I was in and out fairly fast, it still felt like a pleasant dining experience rather than just grab-and-go. Great value too! If you're in the Orange area and craving sushi, definitely check out Uma Sushi. I'd happily return next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

Sushi fresh, really enjoyed the Salmon set which comes with 12 pieces of tataki, sashimi, nigiri, and maki. Everything we tried was yummy except for the squid ink pasta. The squid ink pasta tasted like straight up soy sauce. The dining room is cozy and tucked inside Akasaka restaurant. You can order from both menus. Service was great. Can't wait to come back!
