This review is for Nurse Holly who is absolutely wonderful. For the past 2 years, I've been getting PRP microneedling with Nurse Holly. Since I was told that it may take months for the results to really show, I wanted to wait before submitting my review. I've since had about 12 sessions. 1. After the first session, I saw significant improvements to the texture and firmness of my skin. Prior to the treatment, my skin felt thick, rough, and mature. Now it feels so much softer and tighter. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly I saw results. 2. After a few sessions, I saw significant improvements to my undereye dark circles. PRP helps with collagen production and it's just what I needed to reduce the dark circles that I dealt with practically my whole life. I never thought it was possible for me to reduce the coloration without fillers, but PRP has definitely helped. 3. After a few more sessions, I saw the size of my pores get smaller. This was my original concern and reason for trying PRP. As the skin ages, it loses elasticity and the skin begins to sag. Thus causing your pores to look seemingly larger. Well, since my skin is more firm and smooth due to the collagen production, my pores look like they have shrunk. I've made it a point to invest in the health of my skin by continuing PRP treatment and am happy to put my trust in Nurse Holly. She is professional, sweet, and has great bedside manners. She listens to my concerns, makes me feel comfortable, and provides recommendation on what products she thinks would be good for me to try. Her skin looks amazing, so I always ask what she's doing so I can copy her, lol. She educates, but never tries to push any additional services or products. The only negative thing I could say is that there is a karaoke bar next door that plays obnoxious music all day and the walls are thin so you can hear everything. Too bad I can't give 0 stars. How Dr. Korman has 30 years of experience baffles me because he is beyond incompetent. If you ever want to do a tummy tuck or gynecomastia removal, please avoid this place! Dr. Korman had the extraordinary talent of botching all my procedures in one sitting. I look worse after my surgery than I did before and I would have been much better off burning my $31k. 1. He made my belly button several centimeters off-center. He tried to gaslight me into believing that was my natural anatomy but it looked so off, so I went to several plastic surgeons and they felt my real midline and said it's so off center that they'd have to redo the tummy tuck to avoid significant scarring on the belly button. P.S. He also has a very outdated technique for belly buttons by doing outer incisions. Look at the hideous scar around my belly button. 2. He barely took any fat out. My post OP report said he removed just 950 cc of fat total (that's 2 pounds at best). I was left with gigantic flanks and so much laxity that it's almost as if I didn't do an extended tummy tuck at all. (On the bright side, several plastic surgeons said I still have significant loose skin that I can redo the tummy tuck and get a better job and belly button). 3. He over-resected my glands and did not do enough contouring leaving me with an ugly crater on my left chest which apparently is a difficult gyno complication to fix cause there's no guarantee fat grafting will work if the fat cells don't survive. The worst part was his lack of accountability. He knew he did a bad job and kept on gaslighting me into thinking I was just in the healing process and was very rude, smug and defensive throughout as if I got my procedure done for free and didn't have the right to be dissatisfied. Had he been more comforting in such an emotionally and mentally traumatic period for me, I wouldn't even have written this review. Look at the other constructive reviews (and be sure to scroll down to look at the hidden ones as well) to notice the pattern. I consulted with over 6 top surgeons across the US for revisions and they unanimously said he did a bad job. He offered to do a revision in 6 months but I'd be silly if I went back to him given his blatant incompetence. I saw Nicole for a non surgical BBL and I couldn't be happier with the results!! I searched for the best and I I found her. She also did a great job on my lips and dysport. Note that this review is just for a consultation, I didn't not receive any surgery or treatment from Korman Plastic Surgery. I went in for a consultation for Coolsculpting below my chin. I met Nurse Holly, who, after asking what I was interested in, immediately started to upsell me on additional work. She looked at my chin for a few seconds, but didn't really examine it or ask me anything about it. She told me that I needed to define my jawline and barely mentioned the actual thing I had come in for. She showed me various pictures of customers she had worked on before, but these were instances of people who didn't have the same chin concern that I went in for. She also insisted I would need two treatments despite it being a pretty small area, instead of suggesting one treatment and then waiting to see if an additional one was needed. I was very turned off by the immediate sales pitch, and it didn't feel like Holly was interested in what I wanted. This was my first consultation for plastic surgery, and I wanted to go in believing that they wouldn't immediately try to sell me more (at least not without first addressing my actual want), but that was not the case. I won't be making an appointment here any time soon. Maybe I just went in on a bad day or something, but Holly didn't seem interested in talking to me about my concerns, and I didn't feel like I was getting any kind of individualized assessment. I'm not sure about other locations. However, the San Jose location has let me down repeatedly do you think that they would clearly know about lip filler my first interaction with nurse Holly. She didn't show me the product, didn't show me what I was getting or how much of it. Which is fine you trust that these are professionals. However surprisingly my $700 lip filler only lasted almost 3 weeks. It's supposed to last at least 4 to 6 months. I called and complained because I did not feel like this was right. Either I was given expired product, some thing I didn't pay for, or ripped off in someway the company asked aLi the nurse to take another look at my Lyft, and send them pictures to possibly see if they would need to redo the filler. Of course, it's gone. I didn't eat it??? Takes him a week to respond and finally yes I can get the filler done again. Which should be a no-brainer I'm going to the office and this time aLi tells me that she didn't use the filler that she thought she used. she used a different filler and more than likely my body Doesn't hold that type of filler? Doesn't tell me what kind of filler it was? The name nothing then she proceeds to tell me I didn't get the desired look that I wanted? She was telling me how initially I had wanted a natural look? Never did I say I wanted a natural look? Please tell me who gets lip filler for a natural look? I have really thin lips. I wanted more volume in the middle of my lips and not more on the outside, when I asked her how much is she injecting total? To the vials come in one ML? No one really tells you how much you're getting or how much you're paying for. Take for all I know they could be switching the product. Everything is done out of your view in the corner on a table, this time she tells me it should last. Telling me basically she's using a different type of Restylane? About three years ago, I went to this Cosmatic clinic for picoway to remove my facial pigment. A girl, not the doctor helped me to do the procedure which was about 15min. I felt a little bit hot and pinpricking sensation. I went home with a little redness on my face but the next day everything returned to normal and not a bit change to my facial pigment. That's why I didn't went for another treatment since it was expensive, $500 for a 15min treatment and had no effect at all. First I thought maybe picoway was not as good and strong as other laser. But today I watched someone post her first pico laser treatment in YouTube. Oh my God her effect was very extraordinary. After the initial burning and redness (the pain is tolerable the girl in the you tube said) and several days later after peeling off some skin, her facial pigment was lighter by at least 80%. I definitely saw the difference! Wow I am so angry I had no effect on my face while we are doing the same procedure. Sadly this YouTuber was doing this procedure in New York, too far away from me. It's very difficult to find a trustworthy Cosmatic dermatologist in Bay Area. I write this because I benefit most of the time by others reviewers' comments to make my choices so this is my turn to contribute back to others. I went here for CoolSculpting for the chin area. They told me after the consultation that I am a good candidate for the procedure. I went ahead and trusted them and paid $2000 or more to get one round of cool sculpting done on my chin. They told me after the procedure that I should start to see results within two to three months even with just one round. They promised me this and was so sure and confident. Months go by and absolutely no results after they promised me I would see results! I talked to them about this and they gave a stupid excuse saying that I would see results if I pay for multiple rounds! That is at least $2,000 or more! After doing my research I realized is that that is how they make their money and hook you. They will promise results after one round but in reality they know you won't see results until many more multiple rounds meaning you pay thousands more than you initially anticipated! I bet the owner of this company won't even respond to this because all they care about is getting you hooked to buy more into their treatments. I want a full refund or this review will not be put down! Please any one who is reading this do not get cool sculpting done ever here! You will get hooked to buying more rounds then you anticipated meaning more money out you pocket! read more

It is a little more costly than your standard, run of the mill spa, and that's because it is more like a clinic and nurses are the ones doing the injecting and acquiring a prescription for you. Holly has been great every single time I have seen her. She is always polite and consistent. I have never had any issues. She even asked for permission before making any recommendations and the staff freely shares their experience with various treatments to help put you at ease. I am willing to pay a little more than other places because of the consistency, the professionalism of Holly and the receptionists, and peace of mind of getting legitimate treatment. I had such a great experience at this office. I came in for a coolsculpting consultation for my chin. I had been researching different options to treat my less than flattering chin area. My main concern was my stubborn double chin which was getting more saggy with age. Serena was amazing .She did a complimentary consult and explained everything to me. I bought the cool sculpting sale package for lower abdomen and after a few tries of the sculpting devise, it won't even hold so I was told that I wasn't a good fit for the treatment after I had already paid. I was also told then that the remaining treatment can be done on each arm instead, but it has been more than 6 months since the arm treatment and still no results. Customer service is absolutely pathetic. I reached out for a liposuction consultation, and Nicole Black from Dr. Korman's office replied. Took nearly a week to get something on the calendar because her replies over email were super slow. We finally decided on a date and time, and she didn't show up - without giving me any notice. Took another few days to get on a call, and she gave me the impression that I was holding her up. I booked my lipo procedure with another practice because of my experience here. Couple of weeks later, they had an Emsculpt Neo special, and I called the office and scheduled a consultation. Guess what? No one called me at the scheduled time. I promptly booked my Emsculpt treatments at another practice and vowed to never book anything with Dr Korman. They clearly don't value my business or my time. read more

I was meaning to write a review, but I keep forgetting. Since I have some down time right now I just thought why not write a review. Came here several times on different occasions. I got my first session of my tattoo removed by Holly and it went well. The gal in the front desk is really friendly and welcoming. I forgot her name! But she made sure I wasn't freaking out to much before my appointment as I was afraid it was going to hurt, and yes it hurts to get your tattoo removed lol. Since I moved out of state I have been unable to come back. Maybe I will book an appointment for my second session when I am back in the SJ area this Holiday. I also came here because I got my fillers and Dysport from nurse Nicolle. Nurse Nicolle did my fillers for my laugh lines and added a little bit to my lips to even out my gummy smile. It looks so natural, you can't even tell I got anything done! I also got Dysport for my little 11 lines and forehead wrinkles. We call it "baby botox" as she added less units where I am still able to make facial expression and it wasn't to frozen. I liked my result and I plan on getting it again once it wears off. If I am back in town I might also come back to book an appointment as I still have not found anyone I could trust with my face in Texas lol. The only downside to take into consideration when going to this place is parking could be bad durning the weekends and late afternoons. Omg I can't even begin to say how happy I am with the decision I made to get CoolSculpting in order to make a few adjustments on the left side of my body . As we all don't have an equal amount of fat on both sides, I decided to even it out a little by getting the procedure done on my arm , hip and banana roll on the left side. I am so happy with the results ! Even if it's something that no one else really notices , except yourself , it feels better to have it done . My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Also the staff is super nice! I love nurse Holly she was the sweetest. after the procedure is done it's super important to follow the steps to get the best results which is drinking lots of water and making you massage the areas regularly for 2 minutes. I have been a client of Korman for several years. I originally came in to have laser tattoo removal. It took multiple treatments spanning months/years but ultimately it was gone. Throughout the process, I was thoroughly impressed with the staff's professionalism, as in setting realistic expectations, letting me know what was reasonable for a best-case result and not trying to sell additional treatments after that, attention to after care and waiting for the recovery periods to elapse to allow the ink to be absorbed. During my visits I inquired about additional cosmetic procedures and was again impressed with nurse Holly's candid opinion on what could be achieved with various procedures and importantly the limitations, duration of results, recovery, personal follow up and importantly the costs. I opted for cool sculpting and fillers, which both required additional treatments over time. Each time I knew I was in great hands with Holly as she has a keen eye for the aesthetic and it's obvious during the process that she has a wealth of experience, training and most importantly she is a great listener. She also personally reached out a couple days after each procedure to ensure everything was healing and to my satisfaction. Any question or doubt and I was invited to return to the office for consult. Another perk is that Korman has a decent amount of monthly specials, so if you know there is a treatment that you are considering, then you can often wait for a great deal. Plus some treatments accrue 'points' which can be applied as discounts to future treatments. Lastly I really love the family environment at the San Jose office. Everyone is warm and friendly and while most procedures require some amount of discomfort I always left feeling confident and happy with my decision to trust Holly/Korman. read more

I'm writing this review because i am extremely unhappy, i went here for fillers was charged $600 or $650 with a $100 promotional discount so total was supposed to be $700 or $750 don't really remember, anyway i came here on October 2020 by December i had noticed my lip fillers where dissolved so my lips where back to their normal size practically, ok well i didn't make the decision to call and speak to the nurse that did my fillers HOLLY till January , i went in and she checked my lips as well as informed me she had to check with doctor Korman if there was anything they can do to fix the issue not before trying to sell me another syringe of course which i refused since they should own up to the time frame the lip fillers must last.... fillers are supposed to last 4-6months so i guess due to her advise on going with the Kysse fillers my body probably rejected the filler and my lips where practically back to normal, i had gotten fillers before at another place Juvederm ultra and i had them for about 9months to a year plumped, after messaging back and forth they made me an appointment to come in to get Juvederm ultra since it has worked for my lips in the past, my appointment was end of January beginning of February i got my fillers i was kind of happy than i noticed my lips looked different like the right side was injected on the top of the lip line and the left it was more on my actual lip it was worse when my brother came to visit me and said you got your lips done huh they don't look even who ever did them messed you up you should find a new place ‍ ok fast forward to now it is April and my lips are flat again !!!! but now i noticed a lump on my lip where the filler became like a ball inside my lip !!! OMG so not only are my lips flat again in a matter of 2 months but my lips look messed up !! ugh I honestly don't think HOLLY knows what she is doing at this point !! i'm so upset now, 1 i am never going to this place again 2 i will let everyone know not to get lip fillers here again, i am suspecting they gave me the same fillers as the first time the cheap Reatylane Kysse ... How can you explain that in a matter of 2 months my lips are back to normal again .... I am giving this facility 5 stars. Serena was very transparent and thorough with me. She ran me through everything to expect with coolsculpting. The area I was treating was under my armpits, where I told her another place told me coolsculpting would not work as the area was breast tissue and not fat. She could see that I've been researching and offered me to put any coolsculpting costs towards a surgery, if I was not happy with the results, or it simply did not work (my discretion). She made me feel very comfortable and made me feel like she truly wanted to help me and not make money off of me. I went into this knowing I would probably not see a change but I had my fingers crossed. I'm not gonna lie - the procedure and healing time for coolsculpting SUCKS (still going through it). Serena made me very comfortable and checked on me a lot during the process, and even allowed a guest to stay with me. I can happily say that I am actually seeing results. The healing process is not done but I would say that the area is at least 30-40% smaller. I have my follow up appointment in March and can't wait to see the before and after.
