ITS LONG BUT PLEASE READ WILL BE WORTH IT! Before I came to Dr Korman office seeking for help. I had a previous Breast Aug from a different doc. So fast forward to korman's consultation, I have asked Korman & I was very specific on what I wanted. Which was a breast lift & to have my areola cut a size smaller. (I even showed him some example object to base the size with) Dr Korman gave me his word that he was able to do a well done job with my breast lift & would give me two small "sister" looking areola. He knew I trusted him so much based off all the things he had said to me during our consultation. & holy cow I was so wrong to trust his every word In fact trust him. Later that day after surgery. I woke up to two droopy saggy skin on both of my lower boobs & the most horrifying view of my areola. They were no where near being sisters. They looked nothing alike, I didn't expect my areola to look exactly alike but at least to look somewhere on the same family tree. I hated my boobs even more after that. I brought it up to Dr. Korman about every detail about what I disliked & why the results came out the way they did... For a surgeon to tell me it's my fault they way my boobs turned out if stupidly disappointing. Everytime I asked Dr. Korman about why this & whys that. He responded back to me with excuses blaming my body. Saying my breast tissue/skin are the issue. So I brushed it off thinking maybe I needed to let my breast heal all the way... so 2 years after I came back to his office. Hoping he would be able to fix his mistake. So I wanted to come back when my breast to heal 100% all the way to actually see my full results. Which I did, & as I pictured it& already knew. My results from Dr. Korman was& still is sad & super disappointing. I called & made an appointment for my 2nd consultation/operation. Mind you that I've already paid $10,700 for the first operation& for my second operation he wanted $1,482. & Dr. Korman refused to pay the $45 credit card fee so he made me pay it. Which was very odd to me... but i did anyway..I just wanted to get my boobs fixed without more drama on top of it already. So during my consultation he told me he would cut more skin & lift up my boob so my boobs won't sage anymore on the bottom , & he would recut my areola to make them look like "sisters". So I was expecting him to make it actually look like a circle instead of an oval missing pieces of its size. I make sure we were both super clear on what I wanted so fast forward to when I woke up from my operation & I let everything healed before deciding whether it came out better than it did. 2 weeks after my op I went to get my stitches out from Korman, wow I didn't expect to be still disappointed in this doctor. My boobs still looks sad & droopy. Under my boobs weren't a cute "w" but more like straight lines. My areola isn't a circle. It straight up looks like a hexagon. Dr. Korman even left a good amount of stitches still around my breast & areola so I would have to go back & get the rest removed. I brought up all of this issue to him & what did I expect to happen? More excuses thrown on top of more excuses. One of his excuses were that my implant hadn't dropped all the way but my implant as been in my boob socket for 2 years it's been dropped. He didn't touch my implant. I've asked for a lift that had nothing to do with the implant. It was not relatable. He also told me that for the reason why my breast results were terrible is because he doesn't have a "magic wand". It's very disappointing coming from a surgeon to base his "skills" off a "magic wand". It's so unfortunate that I put all my trust in Korman & to end with him throwing excuses at me & blaming my body for my the ugly results. I don't tend to write this review to throw shade. I just don't want another woman to go through what I did. You would want to do it one time & not have to go back to do it again & again. If you want beautiful results, I highly would NOT recommend you to go to Dr. Korman. Good luck on your decision, & hope reading this would change yours. read more

Choosing your cosmetic surgeon is such an important decision, because your results depend directly on their skill. I have had a lot of small things done by Dr. Korman's excellent team over time, like Botox and skin surface improvements, and I was so pleased that I went to him for my neck lift. I have had several girlfriends who had similar procedures by other surgeons, so I knew what to expect. Yet Dr. Korman did the most incredible job, above and beyond what other surgeons do, including utilizing all the cutting-edge techniques that make a huge difference. I was astounded at how well I recovered and how beautiful my results were. I did everything he recommended, including the Hyperbaric chamber for rapid healing, fully utilizing the very special custom salve he provides, and using my post-op pillows and supports faithfully. I am 65 years old, and though my face looked okay, I would have to say that the total restoration of my neck and jawline makes me look many, many years younger! A good neck lift contours your lower face and eliminates the wrinkles, loose skin, sagging, jowls and unattractive signs of aging. My honest friends had kindly let me know that my neck was very bad. What a miracle to be completely rid of all of it, and have a lovely shaped face again! I can wear my good jewelry and low necklines and feel confident that I look good! I cannot recommend Dr. Korman enough for his skill, his caring, and his in-depth understanding of exactly what will work best for each individual, with his intense dedication to your best results. He works really hard, always giving you every extra advantage or benefit that is possible. You will understand when you go in for your free consultation. He is so conscientious, he cares, and it shows, even through his natural modesty and quiet demeanor. Did you know he teaches at Stanford? You could not find a better surgeon. Trust him to do the work you want done, especially those procedures that require a great deal of skill. Of course, you would never choose a surgeon on price alone, but I did preview other surgeons and their costs. The surgeon who did my first procedure years ago quoted me nearly twice the price I paid Dr. Korman, though I did take advantage of some of Dr. Korman's special discounting that no one else offers. I had been wanting to do this for quite a while now, and another surgeon's quote went up 50% in the 3 years it took for me to be ready. My closest girlfriend paid an impressive San Francisco surgeon 3 times what Dr. Korman would have charged, and she got very poor results that she is still struggling to improve. It was clear that her surgeon was not keeping up with the advances and improved techniques and auxiliary treatments. Above all, you need someone who knows what he is doing, and that is Dr. Korman. The miracle is that you can get a top surgeon like him and you do not have to pay the over-the-top fees. Dr. Korman has offices in Mountain View, Carmel, and San Jose, and operates his own surgical facility. I think this is part of the reason his prices are so reasonable! He hires the most talented and devoted people, and you will know what I mean from the first time you visit. You could not find a better team to care for you anywhere. Of course, you should go and get some other quotes and be knowledgable about what others offer. But let Dr. Korman do the work for you. You know, I think he just works harder and cares more, and that is why he gets such remarkable results. read more

Although I am considered quite lean for my height and weight (5'6, 110-113 lbs), I've always had a stubborn layer of fat around my abdomen and belly that I can never get rid of despite consistent exercising and eating healthy. Finally on the month of my 27th birthday, I decided to make an appointment with Serena at the Korman San Jose office for a coolsculpting session. I had a great experience with the coolsculpting service provided by Serena and would highly recommend Korman for those looking for a professional clinic with exceptional customer service. Serena was very kind, patient, and thorough in explaining the entire coolsculpting procedure and answering all of my questions during her consultation. I decided to go with the larger coolsculpt applicator for my stomach and abdomen fat which took longer than the small applicators (2 hours total for 4 sections) but gave better results since it covers a wider area. The first 5-10 minutes of the application was a little painful, but Serena was always making sure that I was as comfortable as possible by offering pillows, water, adjusting the room temperature/lights to my preference, etc. After each section Serena would massage my lump of frozen fat for 5 minutes, which was probably the worse part of the whole procedure because I'm very ticklish lol. I left the clinic a little swollen and tired but was able to resume my normal activities the next day. It has been about 3 months since my first session in August, and I can definitely see and feel the difference with the decrease in fat around my abs and tummy! However, I would judge that the fat reduction around my abs is far more noticeable than my tummy, which is probably due to my body shape and amount of fat cells concentrated around the stomach. I went to see Serena at Dr. Korman office for CoolSculpting after looking into this procedure for at least a year, I finally decided to go to consultation for my abdomen area. I felt so much at easy with Serena and she explained what in her opinion would give me the best results. I decided to have CoolSculpting on my abdomen and the flanks (love handles). My treatment consisted of 2 CoolMax and 6 CoolCards. CoolMax address larger areas and was used around my most problem area around the middle of my abdomen. CoolCards were used on my flanks and outer portion of my abdomen. Although the CoolSculpting is non-invasive however that does not mean there won't be any discomfort and it all depends on which applicators are used and how many are done at a time. I have a high threshold for pain, when the area for the large applicators "CoolMax" was treated, there was mild discomfort that I had to even start to concentrate on my breathing to calm myself down but with 45 sec to a min the discomfort subsided. My experience afterwards, there was no down time for me, I went back to work the next day and no one could tell that I had anything done. I did feel extremely bloated, felt like I was bigger and it was uncomfortable to touch my abdomen. As the weeks went by I felt better and began to notice slight results, my husband noticed as well. Here I am 3 months after CoolSculpting and I am very happy with my results and they are noticeable. Dr Korman's office and specifically, Serena made my experience worthwhile and made me feel extremely comfortable with the whole procedure. Dare I say it .. okay, I will. Dr. Korman is a genius. I'm not a young woman and I've had plenty of procedures with different providers, so I feel like I am able to make an informed opinion. I never felt pressured or like I was getting a sales pitch but rather, I felt like Dr. Korman was providing information and options regarding the results I asked for. I had been a patient with Nichole and after several NPO procedures, we discussed a face lift with longer lasting results. I met with Dr. Korman and he listened to all my concerns then we talked about options and limitations. While scheduling the procedure with the other Nichole, she was able to schedule a caregiver to manage all the aftercare and follow-up appointments for me, she explained everything that would happen for the several weeks following the procedure and she stayed in touch by telephone to be sure I was okay. The facelift is flawless. Its been three months and already I can see significant improvement in my jawline. My face is just perky! I had some unfortunate work done previously that left one side noticeably larger than the other but Dr. Korman was able to correct that perfectly. I stayed home the first week but honestly, I was okay after that. The bruising and swelling were minimal and most people who saw me (after the first week) did not know I had the facelift. One of the most surprising things about this procedure was that I did not lose any feeling in my face. None! I used Dr. Korman for a Rhinoplasty. I gotta say I'm satisfied with everything with him. He took his time before surgery consulting me and made sure I was confortable with the process of the surgery. After surgery he was cooperative with after care. If I had any questions he would answer them right away. The results of my surgery came out great and the best part is no one knows I had a Rhinoplasty done. It looks very natural and the upgrade in looks was magnificent as well! The recovery of the surgery was very easy. I had a bottle of pain killers which I didn't use at all. I did have some swelling and bruising but was gone within a week. His anesthesiologist and nurses are great also. I woke up not being nauseous or lost. If you are looking for a surgeon to do a Rhinoplasty with I would def consult with Dr. Korman. His personality is not pushy and he really cares about his patients. He will give you honest opinions and not say things for him to make more money. I've gone to surgeons before that are very up tight and feel like you owe them something and they don't always tell you what's best for the you. Dr. Korman is a patients best Doctor because he does what's best for you and not his pocket. I am so excited to write this review for my cool sculpting results done at Korman Plastic Surgery in San Jose. I was treated by Serena & Gina for my Coolsculpting. I was a little skeptical if this would even work but I figured that I could use any help I could get. I have tried dieting and excersize and still had a pouch under my belly and back fat. I made my appointment with Patrick at the Front Desk he was so helpful and informative he assured me they see hundreds of patients a month who love the treatment and It really works. From looking at patrick I could tell he had no fat on him I though he has to be telling the truth. My treatment was for 8 applicators and I was out the door in 3 hours. I didn't even think anything happened after I went home I thought it didn't work. For as long as I can remember i've always had issues with stubborn fat at the base of my neck--in other words called the buffalo hump. Now, I, personally can never see myself getting lipo. The thought of it just kinda freaks me out-- especially since i'm pretty young. I had read many things about the alternative which was coolsculpting, BUT many said that my problem area was not able to be treated with that type of procedure. I came to Dr. Korman's office on a word of mouth referral to meet with Serena for CoolSculpting. I wanted to address a few problems areas, bra fat and the abdomen. After consulting with Serena, she said that I was a candidate and was upfront on what results to expect. In my abdomen I had some sagging skin, CoolSculpting would not address sagging skin. I still moved forward, I was not expecting a miracle, I wanted to feel better in my clothes. I am a 60 year old woman and had noticed bulges that were noticeable through my clothes. I had 2 applicators on each side for my bra fat and my lower abdomen. After 3 months from the date of the CoolSculpting session, I am so happy with my results. My bra fat area has reduced significantly and does not look overwhelming. My abdomen has a better appearance even with the sagging skin. I am really happy with the results that I am going to address a few other problems areas. CoolSculpting has brought a renewed joyfulness on how I feel in my clothes. It took many phone calls to even talk to a desk person to schedule a free consultation. The switch board overly screens the calls and then on a transfer nobody to scheduled picks up. Calls are never returned until about the fourth time calling back. Even the on line order fill out request really does anything like it is supposed to. . I LATER learned there is no free consultation as you need to put down $500 AS A PLACE HOLDER. Then the price was quite an expensive quote for a simple repair procedure and actually came in high. Even if I wanted to spend the money I would not here. They are simply not interested in book appointments easily and the free consultation is a lure to get you in , but you cannot get seen without the $500 deposit. Avoid. The doctor needs to replace his staff and get this business back on track. He is likely unaware what the front staff is doing with his business or perhaps he does and this is all his doing with clientele. read more

i have been getting my aesthetic treatments here, and everybody in the office are so nice and friendly but nurse Nicole is the best, she always explains everything very clear, she makes sure that you get the best treatment according to your needs and your budget, and she will always be honest with you, if something isn't going to look right, she will let you know, because she cares about her patients and she won't ever force you to do something just to sell a product. The office will make sure that you qualify for the treatment you want without putting your health at risk. Nicole is so good that my sister and my daughter started getting their treatment with her, plus she has been recognized as one of the best nurses aestheticians in the Bay Area for 3 (probably more) years in a row. I received a facelift eye lift rhinoplasty last summer from Joshua Korman. The face was ok the nose was a disaster. I just had it redone by Dr. Berkowitz who did a great job with it. Korman left sutures in that had to be taken out by Berkowitz and it was still crooked and uneven. Berkowitz said that he must have spent just a couple of hours on it when in fact it's a 5 hour surgery. He said he didn't do much except file down bone a little. He did shrink the nostrils but they are crooked.Already my chin has completely dropped down even though he was supposed to do a neck lift. In addition Dr.Korman is rude he demanded to know why I postponed surgery for a year even though that is perfectly within their offices policies to do so. I got my coolsculpting done here and got results. Serena did my lower abdomen and i really did lost 20% of my fat! it took four months to see the final results so you have to be really patient with it as it is not an immediate result type of procedure. I am so pleased with the results that i am actually getting the rest of my abdomen done as well.
