Went there for a drink and ended up having a plate of beef taco to share. Considering the prime location and a view $25 for 4 pieces of taco seemed to be resonable. Braised short rib inside taco was tender and flavourful. Ordered the hot sauce and did not realize that there is a charge of $2. Also had 20oz of Stella Artois($14) and was surprised that they only had one kind of draft beer available. It was Friday night around 6pm, there were a plenty of tables still available for walk in.

This rooftop bar is the perfect spot if you're looking for a laid back experience with quality food, service, and a beautiful view of the water. If you're staying at the hotel as a guess be sure to bring your swimsuit to enjoy the pool. Overall this was a lovely dining experience. My friend and I walked in for brunch where I had the avocado Benedict and she enjoyed the tropical pancakes. Prices are a bit higher but it's worth it for the quality of food and views. They have a very large drink menu. I only photographed the first few pages. I would absolutely come back if I lived local to the city.

4 stars just for the vibes! This rooftop spot is beautiful! Amazing layout and design with dinning area leading out to pool area with spectacular skyline view of Toronto! I can't say much about the food because I only had the Fried Calamari, which was good. However, this is a must visit when in Toronto and the staff was great as well.

KOST is definitely one of the cutest rooftops in Toronto The vibe is luxury, from the infinity pool to the CN Tower views. The food was so good. The tacos were flavorful and the presentation was nice. What really stood out were the margarita flights in Patrón bottles It was such a fun idea and made the whole experience feel extra. The lime margarita was my favorite, super fresh and not too sweet. Watermelon and mango were on the sweeter side but still tasty. Everything about this place feels elevated, chic, and worth the visit

Beautiful views, great indoor and outdoor seating, and incredibly kind staff. I didn't feel rushed at all and this was a very relaxing and peaceful place for brunch! Not too loud, great natural lighting, seating both for dates and larger parties. Mostly meat & vegetarian options, some vegan options and fantastic serving sizes

Been here a couple of times, and my last visit was by far the best. I was served by an amazing server named Will -- he took great care of my friend and me. It was her birthday, which I had noted in the reservation, and he actually remembered and wished her a happy birthday! (I've noted birthdays in other reservations before, and no one ever acknowledges it.) Food was 10/10. Atmosphere was 1000/10. Service was 10000/10.

Beautiful location, such a good view of the CN tower, a bunch of people were taking pictures. Everything we got was delicious, nothing out of this world but still good. Food and especially cocktails are very expensive but at the end of the day, you are paying for the view. Our server was wonderful and even brought out a free glass of Prosecco for my friend (as we were celebrating her birthday).

Located on the 44th floor of Bisha Hotel in downtown Toronto, Kost has a lovely patio with a great view of the Toronto skyline and small pool. It's perfect for a rootfop brunch with a pool in the background. The food is excellent, and service is great and attentive. It tends to get very busy, especially during breakfast and brunch, so making a reservation online is highly recommended. The brunch menu contains several tropical-themed dishes (such as Tropical Coconut Pancakes with coconut whip cream and toasted shaved coconut, Kost Smoothie Bowl, Tropical Yogurt Parfait, and Tropical Fruit Bowl as a side). I love their tropical fruits selection: mango, pineapple, kiwi, coconut, lychees. I had the Salmon Niçoise Salad which consisted of grilled Atlantic salmon with green beans, cherry tomatoes, radishes, leafy greens, baby potatoes, black olives, and soft-boiled eggs. I asked for an extra side salad, and the portion was quite generous. It was a very satisfying brunch with great rooftop view to boot. Note that the washrooms are located one floor down (on the 43rd floor of the hotel), so keep that in mind as you'll need to take the stairs.

Sad to see Kost rated so poorly. Visited a friend in Toronto and she recommended this place. I'm glad we went because it was amazing. Service here was the BEST service I received in my whole 5 day trip in toronto. She would come refill our waters, check on us, ask if we needed anything else. It was amazing. We got sat in the corner where you could see the CN Tower and it was AMAZING. Such a beautiful view of the city from our brunch spot. Lots of comfy chairs and places to sit. The food was also great. I got chicken and waffles and it had a spicy maple that was TO DIE FOR.

I never have met a rooftop that I did not like! I would love to come back here in the summer and experience the open doors/windows plus the views of the city. I came here during dinner time and winter; it was cool to see the cityscape lit up. I would say this is a more upscale restaurant. However, it was not anything that blew my mind away. I thought the service was the best part of my dining experience. I understand that Toronto is expensive - this felt more expensive than necessary but that may be because it is a rooftop bar and restaurant. My cocktail was delicious and I wish I could've had five more of them. I enjoyed my food, but it felt a bit odd to have a sandwich on a dinner menu. Overall, this was a good experience because I got have dinner and drinks with a colleague!

Located on the 44th floor of Basha Hotel, it offers a splendid view of the city and Lake Ontario. The rooftop is very beautiful during summertime. A nice place for celebrations, birthdays, etc. They offer weekend brunch, too. We came here for brunch on a Saturday and made reservations in advance. It has coat check during winter season and the staff are very nice and helpful. I liked the vibe, vibrant and quiet. We ordered "Coconut Pancake", "Egg Benedict Avocado", "Avocado Toast" and "Wild Mushrooms Toast" and all of them were fresh and tasty.

I was here for an engagement dinner party and it was actually so good! We had a set menu so were able to try an assortment of their dishes - highlights for me were the burrata, rigatoni, and the shishito peppers! Chicken was a bit dry but that was the only miss for me on the menu. The ambiance is great and there is a gorgeous view outside of the city and the CN tower. Their outdoor pool is really nice! Service was also excellent! I can definitely see myself coming back!

Great food, amazing service, and even better views. Came here for brunch with a friend and we loved it. We ordered the Fried Calamari, Chicken Tacos, Chips and Guac, Fries, Spicy Tequila Rigatoni, Beef Rice Bowl, and Super Rocher for dessert. Everything tasted great. Kost is hands down one of my fav summer spots in downtown Toronto. Highly recommend!

There was a lot of variety on the menu - I had the Thai Chicken Salad and I actually really enjoyed this! Tasted pretty fresh and the large portion size was very filling. Other standouts at the table included the fish and chips, Cumberland burger and Jambalaya. The prices reflect a typical Toronto pub in this area. There are a few separate floors but one thing I will call out is that it can get really hot in there - especially if you end up sitting right under one of their ceiling pot lights.

Hemingway's is a combination pub and restaurant, with signs for various events (trivia night, and other I didn't catch a glance of), though leaning towards the pub side with TVs with sports on and a full bar. I went in the afternoon, a little after 12:30pm. We were seated quickly, but service was slow, and my part had to to wait for quite a while for the drinks, then much later, the food, to arrive. We pre-emptively asked for the bill when they arrived with the food since we weren't sure how long they would take to get back to our table in the afternoon. I got a Pineapple Mule, a zero proof drink and it was great. Tangy with a copper mug to make it a delightful sight. The food however, was pretty bland or too salty. I got a Kiwi lamb burger, which didn't have a strong flavor at all. I expect rosemary and lamb to shine, but I didn't get either in the burger. The burger toppings and the ketchup they handed me saved the meal. My party echoed flavor issues, but more so that their entrees were too salty. Mixed on the food being either too salty or too flavorless, but the portions were nicely sized at least and we had good drinks. Fries were decent at least, along with the poutine and calamari we got for the table. I would go again for the drinks and the shareables.

The fries were pretty greasy and didn't taste fresh at all, and the veggies had some dirt / residue on them. The dill sauce was very nice. We were seated and then greeted right away by our waitress. She gave us menus, but then didn't come back for about 15-20 minutes to take our drink orders. We each ordered a cocktail and they arrived within 5 mins. and all looked amazing. We had the Marissa Harissa which wasn't mine but I swapped for it because it was so tasty lol. It was spicy and a little sour and a little sweet. Very yum! I had ordered the Velvet Figue, which was tasty but a ittle on the sweet side for me. We also had the Amal Old Fashioned which was fantastic. My husband and I both said it was one of the best Old Fashioneds we'd ever had. The last one was the Amal Espresso Martini which was good but unremarkable. We waited about 20 minutes before our food orders were taken. We ordered several things to share. The first round came out around 10 minutes after ordering, which was good. We had the dip sampler and chose the hummus basil, baba ganoush and muhamarrah. The hummus basil was wonderfully smooth and had a great basil flavour. The baba ganoush was nice and creamy. The muhamarrah had a very nice flavour but was very sweet which was a little off-putting to me. I didn't hate it, but wouldn't order it again. We had the kibbeh which was fantastic. The texture and flavour were both perfect. We also had the spicy fingerlings which were great! They were very spicy and the sauce was lemony and so delicious. I actuallly mixed some with my muhamarrah to cut the sweetnss and that really helped. The rest of the food took about 20 minutes to arrive (after we finished the appetizers). We had the skewer platter for two and it was so delicious. The pistachio kabab was out of this world good. My sister doesn't usually enjoy lamb, but she liked this. It was spiced perfectly. The other two were very good too. We had the vermicelli rice, which was very nice. I make this at home so I'm familiar with it and really enjoyed it. The texture was perfect. Lastly, we had the pickle plate which was very interesting. The eggplant pickle was different from any pickle I've had before and was quite firm, which I wasn't expecting. It was tasty. We ordered a bottle of Lebanese red wine which was a very nice accompaniment to the skewers. All in all, it was a lovely evening. Our server was very nice and friendly and the food and drinks were very good. The 4-star rating is partly because of the very slow speed at which the food came out. I'd have given 4.5 stars if that was an option We would return.
