First I would like to say this is one of the nicest looking restaurants I've been in my whole life, the service was phenomenal she even gave us a bunch of free dessert which tasted amazing a trio, we started off with the small plates, salad, calamari, burrata, it tasted phenomenal, spectacular, we had fries with chipotle aioli the only downside is everything is separate, the meals don't come with fries, then we ordered the large plates starting with lamb shoulder really tender with the labneh and mint, then the chicken with chipotle and Chermoula, the chicken was really tender and the sauce gave it a tangy twist, the ricotta agnolotti tasted really fresh with the basil pesto, I love the filling with ricotta cheese didn't taste frozen that's a good sign hopefully it's true but overall great place great ambiance excellent service and I saw Killy a famous rapper from Toronto lol read more

It's an experience. I ended up coming here twice for a dinner and an event. Staff are all professional, accommodating, etc. Brought me sides that I could eat with my allergy which I appreciated. Huge portions, and the view is worth it alone. Highlights for me were the fish tacos, the tomato salad and the wine. GREAT AMBIANCE AND FOOD! We're I am from, we don't have much rooftop patios and this one does not disappoint! Exterior/interior: You enter through black doors and take the elevator to the rooftop. Bright, beautiful, feels like a mini resort, lively, open kitchen and bar. The ambiance is wonderful which can lift up your mood immediately! The patio is breathtaking with a pool that overlooks the CN tower. Great for photos :) Food: I love my smoked salmon eggs Benedict. Flavourful and they season it wonderful. Burger: the bread was stale and not fresh, had to remove one of the buns to eat it. Fries and the dipping sauce to it is delicious! Seasoned very well Iced coffee: it's nicely balanced Coconuts pancakes: you would need 2-3 people to finish this big portion. I had a phenomenal experience for Valentine's day here, from the minute I walked in until we stepped out of the building I was blown away by the service of this restaurant. Our server Ethan took amazing care of us that evening, letting us know what to expect throughout the evening and even quite literally holding my hand down the stairs to guide me to the ladies' room. He and the rest of the staff were very detail oriented and made sure all our cutlery were set perfectly and i appreciated when Ethan placed my takeout box by my purse next to me instead of leaving it in the middle or edge of the table. It's all in the details. He was extremely kind and I thank him for making our evening special. The food was prix fixe and was $105 per person, gratuity was added automatically . The first course was our favourite because it was right up our alley with a soft buttery beef tartare and a fragrant mushroom soup served with garlic bread (cracker? toast? it was kind of thin and crunchy but good nonetheless). I personally thought the garlic bread made the mushroom soup so much better and I really appreciated the cracker to tartare ratio (1 cracker per person) so you end up heaving a bunch onto the cracker and you would still have leftover just to grab with your fork. The second course was salad which was delicious and interesting. The third course was more enjoyed by my partner since I don't eat seafood. He raved about the fish being extremely soft and buttery, it practically melted in his mouth and disappeared. It was served with this delicious coconut cream sauce and I'm very tempted to come back with my mother since she loves seafood too. The Ossobuco was pretty good, but I don't have a whole lot to say about it. My favourite part of it was actually the bone marrow because it sparked this ratatouille-like childhood memory for me. Finally (and this gets its own paragraph) the dessert. Oh my god. Blown away. Absolutely fabulous. It was just everything you want in a desert; creamy, fragrant, sweet but not too sweet, the right amount of bite with the tart. The pastry chef Brendan does wonders with the Isaphan. THE atmosphere here is EVERYTHING. Kost is located on the 44th floor of the Bisha Hotel. I came here for brunch on a Sunday 1pm with a very last minute reservation. We got an awesome seat surrounded by windows, colourful artwork, and all around a bright & hip vibe. I loved how you can access the outside so you could go out to take pictures even with the colder weather! No swimming in the pool unless you're a hotel guest though. I got the $16 eggs benedict with smoked trout & asked for a salad substitution instead of the English muffin. It was a pretty standard dish, nothing outstanding. My friend got the Kost burger and that looked massive and juicy! I also had my eye on the coconut pancakes which a nearby table got, it looked huge and smelled heavenly as well. read more

Went to Kost last night and it was a great time! Our servers name was Ethan. He was young, friendly, bubbly and very knowledgeable with the menu. Menu wasn't big so I was able to go through it quickly. We started off with the sea bream ceviche. The seabream ceviche was unique and served raw. I enjoyed it but for those who don't like raw fish, don't order! The lamb and spaghetti was also really good. I ended up getting old fashioned and they can make it the in house style or regular. I was told that the in house version is sweeter. Overall, great experience. Will be back! read more

The upside: amazing views and a great patio. The manager (Steven) is helpful. The downside-- you are paying for the view, which translates into pricey drinks, food and wine. This place could be great if they had attentive servers, mixed drinks that actually tasted as if there was alcohol in them and a current wine list with a bottle for under $100. The ambiance here is worth the prices. The service outstanding. The vibe fun, cheerful, refined - I can't recall the last time I have been to a resto that is frankly this beautiful visually (the view of the CN tower and Skydome - chef's kiss! But even the inside is so lovely). I had grilled calamari for lunch with a glass of wine and it was great. Expensive, but again you are paying for the view as much as the food. I valeted because parking is a nightmare there and was surprised that even with lunch it was $30 (the ritz $15 valet if you eat there). We went to Kost for the awesome view. The view did not disappoint as the restaurant is located on the 44th floor overlooking the busy Toronto streets and highway. However the restaurant was not easy to find as there is no sign outside of the Bisha hotel. So if you are looking for it, do not hesitate, just enter from the front door of the hotel and go straight to 44th floor. The food on the other hand is more or less average: decent portion and mediocre taste. We had pineapple avocado salad but personally there were a bit too much vinaigrette and lacks efforts on plating. The striplion was a bit too dry even though it is medium rare. The special, white fish is quite decent but lacks the flare. The service is good and the server told us the view would be even better at sunset. Even though the food were so-so, I think I probably still would come back for the view in the summer so I can sit at the rooftop patio instead. read more

The service was here was on point-our server was very patient with our order and always came to check up on us. He also was super patient when we asked him to take a few picture for us! They don't have an actual coffee menu but they do offer a full espresso service. I tried their iced plain latte and it was honestly one of the best lattes I've had at a brunch place ever. Now down to the food - I ordered the eggs beny with smoked trout and roasted potatoes but my friends also ordered sandwiches and burgers. Heard about this gorgeous patio so we had to swing by for their Sunday brunch. Unfortunately it was rainy and windy so the patio wasnt open Had the green sausage eggs benedict. The green sausage was delicious, full of flavor and the eggs were poached to perfection. The home fries however were coated with this very sour sauce and were also bland and soggy. Surprisingly, Kost is one of those places that has great food to match the beautiful views of the city! It's a nice rooftop restaurant on the 44th floor of the Bisha Hotel that's perfect for a nice brunch or lunch. There are several tables inside (very chic Californian style decor) and a few tables and lounge areas outside by the pool. Reservations can be made easily on the Open Table app. My friend and I dined here for lunch on a weekday outside on the terrace since it was a gorgeous day out. There were a few choices of appetizers and mains to order - all sounded so good! We shared the calamari and pasta since we weren't too hungry. The calamari was crispy, flavourful and cooked perfectly. The pasta had a delicious cream sauce, greens and bits of cheese that all worked so well together. We had the best time savouring the amazing food here while catching up and enjoying the panoramic views! The prices were fair considering that it's a nice place and we didn't feel rushed to leave at all by any of the staff. If anything, there were periods of time where we couldn't find a server outside but not a big deal since we enjoyed our time here.
