The explanation also lacked detail, which made it hard to feel confident in how they arrived at that conclusion. Overall, the interaction left me feeling uncertain about the transparency of the process and whether the scope and timeline of repairs were being overstated. Since I am able to choose where my vehicle is repaired, I decided to get additional quotes. I ultimately went with Largo Auto Body, where the experience was completely different. They took the time to thoroughly inspect my vehicle, clearly explained what repairs might be needed, and walked me through the quote in a straightforward and transparent way--including possible additional items if they became necessary. Their estimated repair time was also significantly shorter and felt much more reasonable. I also didn't like that I was told that my insurance will approve the additional time for me to have a rental which I actually would have exceeded, so I'm not sure if they believe my insurance would just happily add as many days as they felt they needed to fix the damage. Korby here -- I was just there this morning…read more About a month and a half ago, I brought my vehicle to ATC for an A/C issue. I was told the system would be evacuated and recharged, and that a leak check would be performed. I was later informed no leaks were found, and I was charged for the service. The A/C worked initially. Roughly 2-3 weeks later, the cooling performance declined again. I returned and was told the issue was a leaking evaporator, with an estimate of about $1,800. Because the leak had not been identified during the initial visit, I decided to get a second opinion. Another shop performed a full diagnostic with UV dye and showed clear visual evidence of a leak at the condenser (front of the vehicle), including visible dye on the condenser core and signs of physical damage. They also found no indication of an evaporator leak. The repair was completed for significantly less than the original estimate, and the issue has been properly identified. I'm sharing this so others understand the importance of confirming the exact source of an A/C leak before committing to major repairs.

Since that conversation, I have spoken to the other businesses involved and all signs have pointed to Crash Champions dropping the ball, multiple times. What is now being handled as of 5/27/26, should have been handled on 3/26/26. The ball is now rolling, but took 2 months and caused irreversible troubles. I am unsure of next steps but what this business did is unacceptable and I'll be looking into where it can be reported/investigated.

When I went in to pick it up, they had not only not done what they said they were going to do, they did something that a week later I found out was not a fix, they messed up the rear end. After spending close to $3,000 for their "FIX" I now have to get it redone and that is going to cost more because of the mess they made of the rear end in my truck. I talked to several people who are very good mechanics, and they confirmed that the jobs was done incorrectly! SO I would recommend you take it to several places and get a second, third and maybe a fourth opinion. BUT don't let them do the work!
