We decided to try this place out as they were having a BOGO deal on a few items. It was very good! Plus the packaging technique they use for take out is superb. Hot food on top and in their own bags while the raw sushi gets place to cold packs. What a nice thing to have. They made sure we had plenty of sauces, utensils, and all that we needed. However, we did end up getting food poisoning which was something that we definitely didn't expect . Which is unfortunate because we saw that it family owned restaurant which was we're excited to support since they had their kiddos there while at first they were eating dinner nicely once they were done they were going in and out of the kitchen, climbing on the bar, and were offered sushi seaweed (which at first I thought was going to be handed to them... This was by far the worst Sushi place I have ever been to. The rolls had no flavor, we royally you can eat, we sat there for over an hour waiting for our rolls. We were only afforded the opportunity to order once. We attempted to order 2nds and the waitress completely ignored us. The people at the table behind us were complaining that it's been 45 mins for them as well. At the end I received the bill and the tip was already included in the bill. First time here, decided to give it try with the Ohana. Our Host/Server (he wore glasses) was GREAT! The BOH SOP, system in place is horrible. We came in, we were the second table in the whole restaurant. We placed our first order, received half. At this point the restaurant was almost full. Other tables started receiving multiple orders along with receiving their paper back indicating their order was complete. These customers came after us mind you. Our host/server was apologetic, we understood it wasn't his fault. What got us was a second chef came in, we assume was the owner since a child was back there with her. Seeing this shows they didn't have a great system down since it should have been caught that the older ticket was not complete. Our total time being there was almost 1.5hrs to only receive half our first order. We will give this place another try at some point, just very disappointing. Hopefully they'll have a better BOH system in place by then. read more

I really like the sushi here, for AYCE, the price is pretty good and the quality is great. Although I wish they would cut down a bit on the portions, because even though the menu says "small", they always seem to come in a large quantity. The service is nice but there is always only one person working here and I feel bad that they are always in a state of lacking staff. Otherwise it's okay. For an AYCE, the wait for the food is decent. My favorite thing about this place is actually the tv on the background. Went in first time to try the AYCE for lunch. It came out to $36 for one person after tax. Reason i gave 2 stars is because the food was not good. For first round, I ordered salmon nigiri, seared salmon nigiri, philly roll, salmon love roll, tuna&salmon capacio, toro sushi , shrimp tempura(2pcs),chicken katsu(small cutlet) and oyster shot(one tiny oyster). The rice to fish ratio is bad. Had alot more rice than fish . This is the trick they do to make you eat less so they profit more. the fish was not as fresh, especially Toro tuna tasted stringy and it left a fishy taste in my mouth. Oyster was bad as it was bitter and mushy. the only thing i like was the shrimp tempura but you can only order once for AYCE. All that food and i was stuffed to the point that i wanted to puke lol. i couldn't order a second round which was a bummer. Update- i did come back and was a bit unimpressed. Perhaps when coming here, just stick to sushi rolls here. The rice was a bit crispy with my 2pc salmon nigiri, the salad had no flavor but drenched with dressing, again with no flavor. the thai tea i had the first time was amazing, this time I ordered it, it had no sweetness. Thai tea is supposed to be sweet in general. I initially loved my orange chicken (Chinese dish) fried rice but i may have found uncooked meat. I think there are some kinks they may need to iron out still. Not sure if i would come back for anything else except for SUSHI items. read more

Great service and a good ambiance! AYCE was worth it for the price (lunch), mind that I only eat tuna nigiri whenever I do AYCE sushi. My first round had the best tuna nigiri I've had in Norco, I ordered 10 servings and it's 2 pieces per 1 order, it had a great ratio of tuna to rice. My waiter told me to just go ahead and order 20 haha! The meat was nice and tender and didn't require much chew, the rice ratio was perfect for the amount of meat served per nigiri. Well, I scarfed down the first 20 nigiris and ordered another 10 servings of the tuna nigiri, 1 order of tempura shrimp, and 1 order of the toro nigiri. This second round of tuna nigiri was disappointing, but I get it, I just ate 10 orders in less than 5 minutes. This second round of nigiri had about 2 times more rice and very thinly sliced tuna; it really made the nigiri quality plummet. One dollar extra on your bill per piece of sushi/rice left on your plate. All in all the place is great! If you're doing AYCE just keep in mind that the second or third round they might hit you randomly with extra rice or thinner meat! read more
