So great. I've only had their burritos so far, but they're so good I've endeavored to try every one. It's not unheard of for me to get a bite of pure fat or gristle or something with my steak burrito, but it's made incredibly fast for a really cheap price. They're so delicious they end up becoming a highlight of my day when I get them. read more

I was pleasantly surprised that this little taco place served great food. After living in San Diego for the last 20 years, then moving to Monmouth Oregon, I thought that I would never have good Mexican food again, well I was wrong!! Koyote Tacos has pretty dang good food. Carne asada burrito's are almost as good as you can get in San Diego. I hope they keep up the good food! I think that Rick L should make another visit. He would be amazed. read more

I love this place! The service is great and they remember my order. I can just come in and they already know what I want. The air conditioners they installed makes it nice and comfy in summer. The food is the best Mexican I've had in Oregon. The value for price is great too. I love their late hours as well. This has replaced muchas grasias for me. read more

Delicious food. Good Mexican in Monmouth! Lots of choices on the menu! The carne asada fries are not usual to Mexican restaurants but are big hit to the WOU students. They are open late and pretty early as well.. They do have a breakfast burrito menu and all regular menu. Both are served all day.. The burritos are super filling and are a lot of food. Sometimes you only need half. I like to get the koyote with grilled chicken instead of steak! It is delicious :) read more

Ordered the supreme burrito with shredded beef. I couldn't eat the thing because they put soupy refried beans in it. I went back to the counter for a plate and silverware...she originally put my burrito in a bag even though I was dining in. She gave me a paper plate and a weak plastic fork. Couldn't eat it and enjoy it. I asked for my money back and she looked at me like I was crazy. I left it there and will never go back. I am right next door now at tortas tacos. read more

Define authentic? Certainly not here. Reminded me of another local "Mexican" restaurant, Muchas. This is fast food, and the help was nice and friendly. My carne asada burrito was 1/4 filled with grease that would run down my fingers and hands. The burrito is big, which means more volume of grease. Would I return? Overpriced and under seasoned burritos filled with 95% potato. This place is a rip-off and I will no longer go here again I know the owner and the workers their nice people.... I have been there around 3 times each time I was disappointed with the food. One of the times I went to order a quick burrito took off in a hurry to eat it on the way .. Was not happy that my chicken burrito was beef.. No time to return it either ugh. The place was clean and there wasn't a line it was around 1 pm. I Would not recommend it. There koyote burrito is the best ever. If you request a rewards card from them, after 10 koyote burritos you get 1 free. They allow alterations if you have allergies or don't like something in it which is awesome and I do often. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family. read more

My husband and I love Koyotes! We always get the mini tacos. I love the carne asada, the chicken and the adobada (pork). They come topped with fresh chopped white onion and cilantro- YUM. Must have the green sauce and the horchata! :) read more

This is the only restaurant we've been to in Monmouth - and we've gone 3 times in the 2 months we've been here. The first time, my food was way too salty (Chorizo combo meal), but my husband's was great. The other two times, the food was really good. We've had combo enchiladas, combo fajitas, children's quesadillas, and I don't remember what the last one was. They have free refills on sodas, discounted refills on jorchata, and good prices all around. Eating in is relaxed - not a busy decor at all, nice tables and comfortable chairs. They also have an outside table for nice days. Service is also good - they are always friendly and accommodating. Of concern to me, they also have plenty of gluten-free options. Many things can be gotten on corn tortillas, and when we ordered enchiladas for my husband and me to share, they put the enchilada sauce (with flour) in a cup and gave me extra salsa to use instead. The best thing there, I have to say, is their salsa. I haven't asked yet, but I want to see if they will sell it by the gallon! read more
