Warning: They cleaned a neighboring table with Scentiva, a scented Clorox bleach that burned my eyes and made the air smell horrible and affected the taste of the food. The wait staff wears heavy perfume also, so it affects the food flavors and smells. They really need to stop using bleach: vinegar would do the job and not be toxic. read more

Excellent food! We ordered the chef special Khao soi curry which is a rich, slightly spicy, yellow & red mix coconut curry noodle. We also ordered the appetizer Kin Dee it's a combo of fresh shrimp roll, pork and chicken satay. Everything was delicious! Only six table so it could get crowded fast. My only complaint was the odd shaped tiny bowl given to us for our noodle curry. It was difficult to eat from and we made a mess LOL read more

Kin Dee is my favorite Thai spot in town, mainly for their Grilled pork on a stick. If you haven't had it, you're missing out. Trust me!! The flavor go crazy! We also love the yellow curry soup. We've had it with all the different meats and they're all great. I don't like spicy food but my hubby does and he also loves it! Some may consider it pricey, but the food quality is worth it and the owner is very kind and friendly. This place is a one of our go-to spots! Definitely recommend! read more

Do you know how hard it is to get a good mango? I probly ate 3 whole entire juicy mangos with my meal. My new favorite thing is this mango avocado salad. My aunt said that each time she gets that salad, the mango and avocados in the salad are always perfect. Some of the best curry I've ever had! My husband love his noodles and boy was it delicious!

The owner is so sweet and kind. Food was really amazing! Service was amazing and a lively yet cozy atmosphere. Me and my friends got fried spring roles, crab Rangoons, Thai iced tea, and pot stickers. All were really good and timing for food came out perfectly. We stopped at Kin Dee for dinner in the middle of a road trip. While we were admittedly very hungry, we LOVED our food. I ordered the Thai Basil. The owner asked what spice level I'd like, and I said 3 out of 5. She was obviously scared for me and suggested I start with a 2, and if I wanted more she would add more. I did end up adding more, but I appreciated her care and I really really loved this dish. My husband enjoyed his Drunken Noodles. We visited on a Friday night and this place was so busy. It looked like everyone who placed an online order had to wait a while, but as we were dining in, everything came in good time. If you're Vegan, don't eat here. When we ordered Red Curry takeout, we made it very clear that we were vegan and we needed our food to be vegan. They said they understood, but when I got home and started to eat mine, it had meat in it. My daughter ordered the pad thai and I wouldn't put it in the top 40% of what we have eaten. I went for the first time today. It is a quaint spot, easy to find, and was clean and well put together in the inside. The waitress was kind, easy-going, attentive, and cared about our experience. They've been open for about 2-3 months now. The decor is nice, everything is well thought out . We ordered the beef pho and the sweet garlic wings. Everything was cooked as it was supposed to, tasted lovely, and was presented nicely with plating and garnish. The menu was stocked with all Thai delights. OMG. Best Thai I've eaten in Salem/Independence and Monmouth. There were 4 of us for dinner and together we had: Plar Goong: (Grilled prawns and fresh greens flavored with lime and lemongrass dressing, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes and chili paste.) Sooooo spicy and flavorful, interesting and generously loaded with more grilled prawns than we would have anticipated. It'll be hard to move on to other dishes. Pad Thai: I didn't taste it, but my guest cleaned his plate. Pad See Ew: Gave it 5 stars and said it was truly excellent. Green Curry with Prawns: Hot and tasty, crisp veggies, perfect prawns. Too much to eat at once. Service was friendly and knowledgeable (the owner?) who made some excellent recommendations. It's my new favorite spot. They have outside dining too but hey, it's August, and the wasps are out. The only negative, and this is just me, I love a cold beer like a Tao Tsing with spicy food, and Kin Dee is not licensed. Don't let that stop you! I'm still thinking about the food and when I can go back. read more

It lacked tripe and other beef cuts you normally find in pho. For sure, we'll return to try more items on their menu. read more

Wonderful place. The owner is very sweet. I always get the Drunken Noodles anytime I try a new Thai place, and hers was very, very good. My friend had the Pad Thai and you can taste the difference in her preparation. Many flavor notes, and it hits the right amount of sour instead of an overly sweet Pad Thai. The Lemon Mint Tea was surprisingly delicious as well (much more special than what I was expecting when I ordered it). Oh, and if coconut prawns are your jam- this is your place. When we left, the owner recommended we try the Mango with Sticky Rice next time. We've added it to our list to try! :) read more

i cannot even explain how wonderful this place is! i went for the first time today and i couldn't be more satisfied! the lovely lady who served us was an angel and made sure we had everything we needed. and don't even get me started on the food! the coconut prawns are a must have and im sure everything else as well. all the food was gorgeous and plated so nicely and soooo fresh! inside was also so cute and the cute little sauce dishes were adorable. my new favorite restaurant for sure! read more
