Cute neighborhood restaurant! We came for Sunday brunch and had no trouble getting seated right away, although it definitely started filling up as we were leaving. The deviled eggs were amazing, and the fried chicken fried rice was such a fun and unique option. They also have lots of specials throughout the week, which I love. I'll definitely be back to try dinner because the menu looked so good!

I visited this establishment during their happy hour as I wanted to taste some of their appetizers. I went in excited and optimistic. I was greeted and well served so shout out to their staff members who were very pleasant. I received phenomenal service where everything was brought to me in a fashionably and timely manner. It was a very soothing experience in the music selection was wonderful as well. I overly enjoyed listening to the tunes while I ate. I would've loved to have sat outside, but it was cold that day. Nonetheless, the only reason for a four star was because I wasn't really WOW'd by the food. The deviled eggs were OK, but I felt as if they had a tougher texture. Along with the chips being a little bit overly greased (quite a bit of oil was still sitting in top of them). The meatball was just OK as well. Now I will say the wine was refreshing! I just wasn't really amazed by the food quality. I would still return to try some of their wines.

We just felt lucky to find a place that had availability on a late Sunday morning... Turns out that breakfast here was amazing! This place obviously is full service and full menu, and that they have a good selection of wines and all of the food looks very interesting be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. But we found the breakfast to be very tasty very well-made, with crispy, meaty, bacon, and perfectly made eggs. The homemade biscuits were fantastic! My son had the chicken and biscuit plate with a hot honey that he absolutely loved. Great place!

Wow. Came back again the last weekend of Houston Rodeo and the food and service was over the top! Definitely on my regular rotation when in Houston!

You know? I've been a fan and champion of Kerry Pauley and his KP's Kitchen, like, forever. It's one of those places where I could order anything on the menu and be happy. He has two locations now and I typically go to the Katy Freeway one. I love to cook at home and really haven't gotten used to dining out, when not checking out some new international restaurant. When I go out, my default is cuisine from another country. But over the years, when not trying something amazingly Asian along Bellaire Blvd., I / we have defaulted to KP's 'cause we know we'll leave with smiles on our faces. Kerry does a lot of good things for the community. He is a good guy. And he is very creative, coming up with one off weekly specials that are always tempting.

I've tried to come here several times, so I'm glad I finally made it. We started with the fried artichokes which were absolutely delightful. Meaty artichokes with a rich Dijon sauce: 10/10. I went with the crab Benedict. The first round rendered overly poached eggs and a cold plate. The staff was quick to resolve the issue and the brought a new order up quickly. Other remarks from the party: the cherry vanilla lemonade didn't work as the flavors competed and none won out. The hot chicken biscuit was excellent. The quiche was "okay". The music was at the right volume so we were able to carry on a conversation without competing with the noise.

KP's Kitchen has been on my list for a while now. One of my friend's lives nearby and says it's one of his favorite places. I went with my coworkers, and everyone enjoyed their food. We ordered truffle deviled eggs, which were served with homemade chips. It was good but kind of pricy at $17. Our server was "fabulous" and did a great job. The portions were huge for the sandwiches and looked amazing. I ordered the grilled salmon plate and the veggies were delicious, especially the carrots. We shared 3 different desserts but all agreed that it wasn't as good as the entrees. It's a cute cozy neighborhood spot and perfect if you are looking for a farm to table like American dining experience. They offer a pretty good happy hour menu too.

My friend chose this place for her birthday and we both really liked it. We both ordered the buttermilk fried chicken platter and it was really good, we also ordered a side of crispy cauliflower and that was pretty tasty. Iced tea was delicious and side note, the honey mustard was top notch. My friend does not like ranch dressing and she really liked theirs. We plan on going back. Cute restaurant and customer service was amazing, very friendly and helpful.

Why 4 stars? Because everything we tried was perfectly enjoyable. --- --- --- Every time I've gone to the Houston Improv, I've been tempted to grab dinner at KP's, as it's only a few minutes down the road and I've had it bookmarked forever. While normally I lean on Jando S to take me somewhere much more exotic, he said he was in the mood for some good ol murican food. Score one for the non-practicing Ashkenazis. I would label mostly everything we ordered to be fit right into the 4-star range: solidly good - nothing mind blowing, but nothing disappointing. The two exceptions would be: the prosciutto, burrata and melon - it had quite a nice explosion of flavors. 5-stars. My least favorite was the strawberry shortcake, as it was a bit dry, and would not be something I'd need to order again. 2.5-stars. I don't even really like deviled eggs, but I enjoyed a couple bites of the truffled deviled eggs. 4-stars. The spinach artichoke dip and the burger were both the "OK hand sign" emoji. You'd never be mad about eating these on a regular basis. And the truffle fries were not too truffley, which I enjoyed because sometimes the truffle can be a bit overwhelming. The service was also excellent - we never went more than a few minutes without someone checking on us. I'll be rooting for KP's, as these seem to be some nice people who are trying to do the really hard thing of operating a small business!

Food here was fantastic! Wanted to try something new and this place did not disappoint. Comfort food at its finest. Eggs cooked to perfection and the biscuits are delicious The seasoned potatoes were so good and the portions are generous. The service was excellent with a friendly staff in the owners were on site and they were awesome. The decor was really nice. Made you feel welcome and it was open with great lighting. This place is a Must try

I had the pleasure of visiting KP's when it first opened back in 2021 at the Town & Country Village location. I loved the cozy, welcoming vibe and solid food--it quickly became a local favorite. Since then, they've moved to a new spot right of Katy Freeway, and I recently got the chance to check out the updated location. I'm happy to say it's just as good--if not better! The service is still top-notch: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. As for the food, it's hard to pick a favorite. I would order everything again. The burger, hot chicken sandwich, brussels sprouts, crabcake and cauliflower are all some of my favorite things.

Came to KP's for their happy hour and their voting sticker special! Until November 5th they will give you a free appetizer with your voter sticker! We chose the spinach dip which is always amazing and uniquely served with house made potato chips! I ordered the KP burger and fries from their happy hour menu and absolutely enjoyed it! Great ambiance and super quick service! This is also not my first time at KPs often frequent for a work lunch or quick stop in, always good bites and service

I mean my pocket book is probably better for it because I want to buy the whole store but honestly I've been missing out. The place is cute and welcoming from the corner sign on the building to the moment you step in- bright, inviting, great displays so you know where to go. You can't get lost in here with the signage, but you can't definitely get lost in the aisles with all the great, unique choices. The ready food display has so many Mediterranean treats, some I've had before some I've never heard of and everything I tried was amazing. We got the cabbage rolls and Armenian veggie dolmas. Great flavor, both specific items I haven't had before. Nice citrus, spiced flavor to these. I'd say they're have to try items. Not only found jarred tomato paste, which I've been on the hunt for but they had choices in this category and that's another first for me. Will have to go back and try the others. Also got the cured Serrano ham -amazing. I ordered "The Convention" breakfast which was "Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Breakfast Potatoes and Buttermilk Biscuits" - it came with literally 20 tiny sausage patties and biscuits total. So one tiny sausage and biscuit per person. I didn't count the bacon but it was a similarly stingy portion. No one had more than two pieces. The eggs were bland. The potatoes were actually good. But overall, it was so embarrassing to have the food show up and it be these tiny trays of hardly any food for over $400. I would have been better off ordering individual dishes for each person from a local restaurant. I thought with the high Yelp and Google reviews I saw, this would be a safe bet! I also ordered a 20 mini pastries for $3.25 each which were like pastries you get at a 7/11. At least if you are overcharging, let the food be good and not like you unwrapped pastries from a Costco haul. Worst of all was the coffee which was watered down and disgusting. Everyone threw theirs out so I just dumped it. What an utter waste of money. Also they only sent 8 cups with the coffee even though the breakfast was for 20. Stingy and bland all around. If you are catering for a small group, please save yourself the trouble and embarrassment and just order takeout from a local restaurant. I wish I took pictures of the spread but I was just too upset. All I took was the coffee which you can tell even from the picture was watery. ***The menu listed the items but didn't say only 1, 1oz piece of bacon per person - that's absolutely absurd for a normal breakfast portion. I loved the food and munched on it like a starving kitten. Pandemic hits and it severely limits my ability to go to places, but I still had the old flyer. I called the order in ahead and ordered a shrimp poboy for myself, a fish one for my husband and a chicken pasta for my mother. First things first, as its technically a catering company and due to restrictions with dine in service in Fort Bend County, I don't know if the inside will ever be meant for dining service. It seems it's meant mostly for pick up, but on the other hand restaurants are operating differently with the pandemic, so I can't say for sure. Now the food. Portions are huge. Our poboys were large enough that we split them to taste the other person's meal. I felt they were some of the best poboys, I've had. Probably the only better ones are the ones from New Orleans and that's high praise as it's New Orleans influenced dining. If you want to know, I think the fried fish poboy slightly edged out the shrimp poboy. I felt the taste of the shrimp at times got lost, whereas the fish poboy and all of the other components were balanced. However, it's such a slight difference in terms of taste, that you're not losing out if you're eating the shrimp poboy. But if you are eating with someone and they don't mind sharing, I do recommend swapping half your poboy. For my mother's meal, as a picky old lady, she was content, and that's rare. It was a lot of food, it came with vegetables and corn bread. She ate it and didn't complain. To me that's high praise. The only real "knock" as that while the bread pudding is good, I know you can get better bread pudding elsewhere. Also, as it seems to be a start up business, drink options are also limited. However, I think with time there will be more drink options/ As for the bread pudding, people are either going to agree with me or not. It's still good, but I don't think that's the highlight of this caterer/restaurant. The main dishes are what makes this place unique and I'd come here for those dishes or consider this place for events like weddings and bigger parties. The food is good enough to make everyone happy and if it's for a wedding or birthday party it's not like you'll need their dessert as wedding/birthday cakes tend to be ordered at bakeries. Definitely try it, and send me a note if you agree.

We have real food trucks come out for the kids to see, but this year was even better because Chef Shelby came into our culinary kitchen and gave our students and teachers an experience that they will never forget. From the start, she was very communicative and full of ideas on how she could create this experience for the kids. We provided the space and she and her team took it from there and made the rest of the magic happen. She gave a lesson to the kids about kitchen safety and how to create a menu to kick off Food Truck Camp. Then, she came back later in the week and made flat bread pizzas from scratch by modeling each step and assisting the kids as they made their own. She and her team were punctual, organized and very professional! The teachers and kids had a blast! Reservation was for 3 hours with 1 hour for set up and 30 mins for breakdown. They allow outside food as long as it's dessert. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, shoutout to Adam for coordinating with us - helped us out in so many ways, from decor setup, to playing our music, to splitting bills, to accommodating for various dietary restrictions of guests, to cutting our outside cake we brought in, to assisting with cleanup and giving our guests to-go boxes for all the leftovers. Speaking of food, guests couldn't stop raving about it. Spring rolls were packed with shrimp (they offered various sauces for those with peanut allergies), the DIY banh mi tray was a major hit, and my personal favorite was the crispy pork belly, the skin was crispy perfection. We also got egg rolls, wings (fish sauce), and japchae which were all excellent as well. Can't recommend Lena's Asian Kitchen enough, great work y'all and thank you for having us!

I have heard of Lena's Asian Kitchen for years. But this was my first time set foot at the actual…read morerestaurant. In May 2024, I volunteered to hand out lunch boxes at Lena's Kitchen somewhere in SW Houston. Fast forward to now, I learned about this location and at 99 Ranch Market in West Houston. It's my goal to visit that location this summer. Coming to this location was a little tricky. I had to park on the top floor of the garage. I couldn't believe how friendly everyone from valet person to security guards to the moment I walked in. The employee gave me a quick introduction to the menu. It's fairly simple and I grabbed the lunch combo option: grilled chicken banh mi and vegetables potstickers. Everything was delicious including the water infused with cucumber and lemon. I'll bring my foodie friends over one of these days. Yeah. I'll be back.
