Parking: you can park in the back or worst case park across the street and walk. Service: great service, attentive and friendly. We didn't wait too long to be seated without a reservation, early evening, we waited like 15 minutes. Food: we tried the burger which was delicious and the beef kebabs with rice which was filling. Drinks: no alcohol but nice mocktails. Bathroom: only one stall but clean

We ordered: Beef shawarma egg rolls: great appetizer! Nice and crispy Double skewer plate: the meat was juicy and seasoned right Butchers burger with truffle fries: great solid burger and the truffle fries were wonderful Mashed potatoes with mushrooms: good and creamy The food could have been warmer but it tasted great and I would come back. Our waiter was wonderful!! She was so sweet. Nicely decorated restaurant but it was very warm when we went. I saw one of the staff members looking at the ac. When we asked management if the ac was working he told us yes, it's warm because the doors keep opening. If that's the case they should definitely lower the temp of the ac because it made our dinner harder to enjoy because it was uncomfortable.

I came here for a bday dinner and it didn't disappoint. The interior is very clean and classy, and the staff is super friendly. They have a variety of dishes ranging from comfort foods such as burgers, wraps and fries to exquisite main courses such as kabob platters, steaks, fish and many more. It's the perfect middle eastern spot that isn't too pricey but also has a nice elegant vibe. The chicken shawarma I got was very delicious, they were generous with the amount of chicken inside the wrap and they seasoned it very well. The hummus tasted fresh (my only suggestion is to add more garlic and olive oil) and the chicken freekeh dish was delicious as well. The mint lemonade and the passion fruit mango smoothie was refreshing. The chocolate cake was also very rich and delicious. I'm overall satisfied with my experience here and can't wait to come back and try the other dishes.

Let me start by saying I was with a party of 4...and our bill had a 18% tip included. The food, service, and ambiance could be great however, forcing a tip left me with a bad taste. I would think a group of 6 or more would make more sense. Anyways... Food: - had multiple small plates and the kabab platter. Sides were okay. Nothing incredible. The pita bread is clearly store bought. I didn't think anything was memorable. Houston has SO much good Mediterranean food and sadly this doesn't make the cut. - meat was tender and tasty however, the kababs were literally the size of chick fil a nuggets. If they pride themselves in their meats, they should probably make sure that is 100/10. - knafeh with ice cream was a disgrace to knafeh and sadly a disservice to Lebanese food. It was a buttery and mushy topped with average ice cream. Knafeh is supposed to have a crisp exterior with a cheese pull interior. This tasted like a soft sponge soaked with an exorbitant amount of butter. Service: - our waiter was sweet and available and the manager (?) came to our table multiple times to check in on us. Water glasses were always full. Service was great, however I would've gladly given 20% tip. Just don't force me to do it--it's not a good look. Ambiance: beautiful interior with classy plates and silverware Would I come back? To be honest, no. It wasn't anything memorable. I wish them the best but there are so many other amazing Mediterranean food places in the city that I'd rather go to.

I found myself at The Butcher's Grille for a business lunch. It's located off San Felipe near Chimney Rock (walking distance from the Einstein Bagel center and across the street from Mod Pizza). The parking situation is interesting - it feels like you're entering the parking garage for an apartment complex, and the first two floors are free parking for retail. Parking was certainly not empty as it was for lunch on a Friday, but I lucked out and found a spot on the first floor fairly easily. The walk from the garage to the restaurant is only like 20 feet and once you walk in, you'll be impressed with the ambiance and decor. The service was also spot on - our waiter was training another waiter, and between the two, they were great. An excellent example of Lebanese hospitality (that's what the restaurant is supposed to represent, according to their bio.). Anyhow my party had a reservation and we were seated quickly. We ordered a mix of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. Here's the breakdown: - Dynamite shrimp: tasty but very small portions for the price. - Baba Ghanouj: quite flavorful! I would get that again. - Fattoush salad: I think it was my favorite! Nice flavors and great texture. A bit small for the price. - Truffle fries: I appreciated the generous portions but the dish came out a bit cold and I wasn't expecting the nacho cheese topping (not my favorite mix of flavors). - Honey buttermilk chicken sandwich: solid effort but not served piping hot and not as good overall as I expected. Overall, it was a great dining experience and definitely recommend you give it a try. It's an excellent option for date night or business meal. It's quite classy!

Had a great experience at The Butcher's Grille and I will be returning. This location is where the old Dish Society used to be. Great and beautiful space. Walking in I felt like I was in Lebanon. Beautiful decor, and ambiance was so amazing. I loved every bit of it. The staff was all so attentive and hospitable, they welcomed us with open arms as soon as we walked inside. Let's get to the important stuff here is what we ordered- 1- Frozen Mint Lemonade. So freaking delicious. I usually drink so slow but I chugged my drink because it was that good. 2- Fatoush Salad- delicious and my favorite salad I have had. The hints of pomegranate, the light dressing. Omg I still think about this salad it's so good. 3- Dynamite Shrimp- delicious and a good appetizer option. Loved the presentation of how it was served. 4- Truffle and Co loaded fries. These were so different and good. The waiter recommended these and they did not disappoint. There was a mistake and we were brought out the holy chicken fries out first. Omg those were also freaking delicious. 5- Ribeye steak- this was good. Not the best steak I have had but it was really yummy just a bit chewy for my liking. It came with mashed potatoes which were delicious and so creamy. All in all this was such a great restaurant. Houston def was needing this. I'm so happy we tried it and I can't recommend it enough. I will be returning!

    Beef Shawarma Pita

Never been here before, and we don't ever go out for Lebanese food, but this place was great. We got the creamy crab rounds as an appetizer, and they were so yummy. The sauce was the sweet and sour sauce you get at Asian restaurants, and was a little too strong for me, but the filling was such a nice texture. Definitely the best item we got. The double skewer plate was also really good. We got the beef kafta and the Lebanese sausage. The onions were really nice and sweet, and the grilled tomato was delicious. The pepper was super duper spicy, so beware of that when you're eating it. They also had this like yogurt butter on the side, which really helped with the spice and it gave an extra lemony and acidic profile to the dish. The pita was good but not my favorite just because the pickled cabbage and acidic components overtook the dish. The meat also could've been softer, but overall an amazing meal. They've been open for 1 year this month, and the ambiance was 12/10. Loved the plates, the lighting inside, the windows, everything about the aesthetic was superior. Also the service was 12/10, and I haven't been this well taken care of by restaurant staff in a long time! I'd definitely come back.

Everything about this experience was top-tier. The service was amazing. The food was outstanding. The crab puffs absolutely delicious a full of meat so good sometimes you get them and it's more cream cheese than anything but this had a great portion of crab in every bite. it was definitely worth it. The butcher board with the ribeye was cooked to perfection. The lamb chop was absolutely delicious with the chimichurri sauce, we didn't have anything that we didn't like. Everything was a great we gave it a 10 out of 10 for sure. The cookie at the end was the perfect end to a great dining experience. The environment was stunning whether you're going to have dinner with your girls or you're on an intimate date. It was definitely a beautiful atmosphere. It just felt welcoming. It felt perfect. Important to know that there is no alcohol on the menu which I might add is also a really nice touch.

Visited this place for the first time for my father in law's birthday dinner. Amazing ambiance - very aesthetic and is located in a nice area and has an outdoor area with seats and a fountain around as well. Service was perfect the waiter was super attentive and friendly. The food was great with great prices! Here's what we ordered: For the appetizers, we ordered lentil soup, chicken lemon rice soup, tabbouleh salad, and dynamite shrimp. The soup is good serving for 1 person, loved the lentil soup! The chicken lemon rice was okay. Love tabbouleh salad and it did justice here too. Dynamite shrimp was a treat! For the entrees, we ordered beef kefta pita, chicken taowuk pita, Lebanese burger and the hot n spicy chicken sandwich. We also ordered some truffle fries they were delicious! The burgers come with a serving of French fries. Both the sandwich and Lebanese burger were really good! The beef kefta pita was okay, there was a lot of sauce. The chicken taowuk pita was good I wish there was no coleslaw in it as it doesn't traditionally have that nor ketchup. But overall we had a great time and we were also given a good big piece of chocolate cake as a birthday complimentary treat to celebrate by the end of the dinner. I would definitely go again and try their steak or grill plates. There are two entrances of the parking space when you enter. No fees!

Amazing food service and ambiance. What more could you ask for. We came for lunch. Sat outside in the courtyard. Perfect vibes for a date. Our waiter Ray was phenomenal. Made great food and drink recommendation. Place is halal so no alcohol - definitely respect that. My favorite was the halloumi cheese w honey - it was fire. And hummus was great as well. My fattoush salad was excellent as well. Spicy potatoes were okay (husband loved it) garlic was a little too strong and not as crispy as I would have wanted it. Husband did love his chicken sandwhich. Just know it's huge and you get really full with it. Would come again for sure.

    Garden whisperer - bland

New spot in the old Dish Society space. The inside is completely redone and has an upscale vibe. Non alcohol establishment. Service hit and miss. Food was mostly just ok. All meats were a bit over the doneness we asked for. Good: Walnut Shrimp was tasty and the apple added nice brightness. Fattoush salad had a sweet/tart dressing and pomegranate seeds. Lamb chops had great flavor and even though they were medium and not medium rare (what we requested) they were still tender. Carrot cake was not too sweet and the icing was surprisingly light. No so good: Garden Whisperer mocktail was bland. Falafel was hard and dense. Creamy crab rounds - besides the name we wouldn't know there was crab involved. Good flavors on the Grand skewer plate but the chicken tawook was tender but mushy(?) and the other skewers over temp. Overall the place is fine but unless I lived in the apartments above I probably wouldn't make the trip back.

When considering all the halal options you have in Houston, you have to consider The Butcher's Grille. They're doing something brand new, and the execution is really well done. For starters, the food was great! The decor and ambiance is amazing, but let's talk about the service; top notch. We came an hour before closing (I know, sorry) and they treated us so well. They constantly refilled our water glasses, gave us great recommendations, and were very accommodating to our entire family. This place is doing something no other halal restaurants in Houston are doing; they've created a refined and elegant experience that leaves you wanting to come back for more. Bravo!

Lovely ambiance, decoration, and quality menu. The burger was solid and the steak was very flavorful. I liked the sauce and fries. It's so cool to have an upscale and reasonably priced middle eastern and steakhouse combo.

It also felt like a third space of sorts, because I was hanging out with a well connected friend, and everyone who came in was a who's who of the Houston restaurant/nightlife scene, and gathered for what turned out to be an unplanned hang out. They were hosting a vinyl swap night, so folks were coming in to peruse the many boxes of vinyls, and a DJ spun classic r&b tunes. I hear that on some nights they make space for a dance floor so people can show off their best two step in the space. The drinks were great and well priced but the wine selection is what got me. I was told they were inspired by Japan's many vinyl listening bars-- having been to many across Japan as well as many NYC imitators, this place actually impressively comes close. Regarding the food, the Frisée Salad was pretty good, well dressed and flavorful. The chicken sandwich was okay. The batter was crispy and flaky but it had no flavor. What made it a lot better was the coleslaw that brought a great deal of tang and moisture. The steak was not quite for me. It came on a bed of sauce that was flavorful with fresh veggies but it did not go well with the steak. Perhaps chicken would've suited better. The steak itself was dry and quite chewy. For dessert we had the carrot cake tres leches which was decent. The carrot cake flavor was there but the moisture from the cake was not fully spread in the cake. Overall nothing here was bad but with the plethora of restaurants in the Houston area I can't justify recommending or returning.

Basically every server upstairs told me it was their favorite salad. The bacon was thhiicccckkkk! I have had dinner in the main dining, upstairs, upstairs patio, and the deli area. I quite prefer the deli seating area. Quiet, beautiful lighting, small area, and great street watching.

The restaurant's warm,…read moreenergetic atmosphere--filled with families and even a bridal party--set the tone for a memorable evening. Our appetizers, the bruschetta and the chicken and beet salad, were beautifully prepared. The Gulf red snapper entrée was outstanding: fresh, delicate, and served in a creamy broth accented with sun‑dried tomatoes. Dessert was equally impressive, with both the carrot cake and tiramisu offering a perfect finish. With excellent service and thoughtfully crafted dishes, Marmo has earned a spot on my list of places to return to.

These beautiful western has outdoor seating, bar area, and main dining room, beautifully decorated, elegant, and classy, perfect for those special occasions. We came to celebrate my friend's birthday, and we got wonderful service, our server was attentive and gave us beautiful recommendations for the food. Food 10 out of 10, server service 9 out of 10, Drinks 10 out of 10, host 5 out of 10. Two things I didn't like about this place, they are not allowed you to bring balloons for a birthday celebration, and your party cannot be seated unless half of the party is already here. And they charge you to cut the cake, if you bring your own cake they're gonna charge you about four dollar cake slices I think it's a little too much Other than that, we had a great time
