I was really excited when I saw KPOP-To Go take over Seoul Food restaurant. KPOP Also has a few Korean bbq sit down joints. Unfortunately, I was kind of met with some disappointment. I was hoping the flavors would be better than its predecessor Seoul Food. I never really liked Seoul Food restaurant, but this is basically the same concept. You pick your base which is Japchae, Fried rice, rice or french fries. Then pick your protien. Each banchan like kimchi, radish, etc is an extra charge. They have other things too, but thats the main concept. Most foods is precooked like mall food court style. Knowing that this restaurant has a parent store that sells Korean barbecue, made me really disappointed because almost everything just tasted sweet. The bulgogi meat, Japchae & even chicken dumplings were sweet. Thankfully I ordered the Spicy Bulgolgi Kimbap, because the spice cut down on the sweetness. I highly recommend getting spicy bulgolgi. The kpop Philly was ok, you can choose which proteins you want to put on it and you can get fries or fried rice. The Seoul Twisted potato was gross. It was so greasy, the batter was too thick. I didn't even taste the potato. Overall If I wanted korean food I'd go to their sit down kpop bbq. The quality of food is better in my opinion. This is good for if you want something quick. The service is decent, a lot faster than Seoul Food restaurant. So thats a plus.

All of my food tasted poorly. How can you mess up Kimchi? My spicy rice cakes were salty & vinegary. The carrots, mushrooms, and cucumbers were bad also. I felt like no one cared how it tasted. I plan to try again one more time to give it a second try but I am soo disappointed with the $20 I spent on this lunch that I will not be eating.

idk if they changed owners since they changed the name but the food isn't as good as it was. if you're craving korean, this is a decent quick spot E X P E R I E N C E when we walked in, we were greeted. we were given time to look at the menu and were helped to place our order. there are 4 employees working total. theyll prep the food for you and call you when its ready. get your utensils and be sure clean up after yourself! F O O D beef bulgolgi bibimbap $15 white rice, spicy radish salad, spinach, mushrooms, bean sprouts, carrots, kimchi, fried eggs, gochujang sauce, sesame oil, scallions and sesame seed the bibimbap is tasty. good balance of veg to meat to rice. the gochu sauce is yummy daebak fried rice $12 rice, KFC spicy, broccoli, onions, carrots, peas the fried rice is too salty and the flavor is almost there. the chicken isn't spicy and tastes like orange chicken I N T E R I O R well kept. tables and seating is clean. korean pop music playing at a decent volume. This place was a great find in Kennesaw! I got the bulgogi fries & a corn dog to go and both were good. This place is a great addition to Kennesaw and I'm excited to see more Asian stores popping up here so I don't have to go out to Duluth as often. They have a small menu but seemed to have a good crowd coming in and out + takeout customers. It took about 15 mins for my food to be ready once I ordered so everything was freshly made. There's plenty of parking in the strip and lots of other shops to choose from on the same lot if you've got multiple tastes to supply

I was curious about the food here and I was not disappointed. Every Thing was great. Plus it seems way healthy than a burger except the spiral potatoes that was a treat. But the Heart and Seoul plate was excellent. Great option is you want something other than the usual pizza and burgers. There are other things on the menu I will try next time

I've been here a couple times now. I usually like to try a couple of things and do a few visits before a review. Their menu can be confusing if you don't go often. Drink options are limited and no free water. They have a free parking lot. Order at counter and seat yourself. Their black dining chairs are very narrow, uncomfortable. Drive thru is also an option. I have had their Heart & Seoul Bibimbap, Seoul Bowl Pick1 Base al Protein *Includes 2 Chicken Dumplings (when I really should have ordered the Seoul Veggie Bowl instead, just shows their customer service just isn't up to par), and the Soulful Korean Potato Hot Dog. Heart & Seoul Bibimbap: no flavor, cold egg (honestly everything was cold except the tofu, they were room temperature). Kimchi was okay. Did not like it. Seoul Bowl: I did not know there was a similar vegetarian option that is so much cheaper. Noodles were just salty and cold, vegetables just steamed but served cold and did not have flavor. Tofu was cold and not crispy. Bland food, missing a nice kick of spice. Will not order again. Soulful Korean Potato Hot Dog: thought I'd give something new a try, big mistake.Tbh I never tried a Korean hotdog before. This one had potatoes on the outside and cheese on the inside. The potatoes were covered in sugar. Everything about this item was gross. Never will I ever order this again. My partner enjoys ordering their KFC sandwich, that's why I give them 2 stars.

Fire! Fire! Fire! Think of this as Korean fast food. The food is much better than normal fast food, but equally as affordable. The menu seems a little confusing but it's pretty simple actually. For the bowl, just choose your carb (base) and your meat and add on sides for extra. You can also order the street food options or other combo-type options. We got a bowl with Bulgogi and chose the radish, kimchi, dumplings and rice cakes as our sides. The spicy rice cakes are a MUST! They were delicious. Kimchi and radish also good, but the spicy rice cakes were the favorite. We also prefer the noodles over rice, but thats a preference thing. The Bulgogi fries are another amazing option. Everything we tried was delicious, well cooked, well packaged and filling. We will DEFINITELY be back to try more!

Yelp gave me a list of nearby restaurants with vegan options based in Earth Day. Decided to go with this spot! Seoul Veggie Bowl - comes with a base (white rice, fried rice or japchae) and 3 vegetables. My options were fried rice with mushrooms, bean sprouts and broccoli. The rice had pretty good flavor and so did the mushrooms. Bean sprout are just that. The broccoli (the literal 5 pieces that I received) was steams and lacked any flavor whatsoever. Other than soy sauce, no other vegan friendly sauces available to tie it together. Would have loved to have a noodle option but the japchae has some type of seafood in it. Also added a side of fried tofu. This was a great addition. Taste was on point; had a sweetness combined with a little bit of spiciness. Nice crispiness. At the price point of $5 you don't really get much bang for your buck. Can't say that I was impressed by any means with the vegan options available but I suppose it happens.

The service was so friendly and service was so quick., as well as very clean. We tried the lemon pepper wings and house wings, both were so good but I loved the lemon pepper more. We also tried the spicy beef bulgogi bowel and surprised at the presentation and variety of flavors. If I was in the area again I would definitely revisit!

Loved their Woodstock location and super glad they re opened in Kennesaw! Super close to KSU campus (p.s. they offer student discount) if you're looking for Korean food togo style/korean street food, definitely come try Seoul Food. My favorite is the bibimbap and their beef bulgogi.... if i had to chose my favorite! You will not regret trying Seoul Food!

We were greeted immediately on a Friday night and were seated immediately. Our server was super nice and made sure we knew what we were doing. We opted for the Steak and Bulgogi as our first 2 meat choices with salad and rice cakes, kimchi, white rice, glass noodles, and various pickled items that came with it. This was all you can eat so don't worry if the portions look small at first. The two steak options were incredible! I love the open flames that is different from our regular spot. Amazing flavors!! Great char on the meat. The salad dressing and other pickled sides were incredible together. We only tried one other meat which was the lemon pepper chicken. This was my favorite!! It's very nicely decorated but I was taken aback when we walked up to the table and there were individual portions of sauces already sitting at each place setting. There was a small group salad , about a tablespoon worth of marinated daikon radish and the same amount of marinated cucumbers. The waiter said that we had to use a QR CODE menu. Huh?! Really? I asked for a regular menu. My companion started ordering , apparently having been here before, from the about 12 different meat choices. It was explained how the barbecue worked. Pick up to 3 different types of meat, cook and finish that and order more. I wasnt interested in that. So I started looking for other Korean food. There were none. There was two more banshan dishes, both of which were disgusting . The price was $32 each. I ate approximately $0.50 worth of meat, my 1st companion ate approximately the same as me. As she doesn't eat much meat ever. And the second person ate approximately $5 worth of meat. Had a $16 drink and we were charged $3 per soda. A total of $9 ( I had tea, she had a coke and a refill of coke!) they charged for a refill!! The total was $125 BEFORE TIP. Then they gave us exact amounts for the tips. 18%, 20%, and 25%!! I ended up paying $148.37!! I haven't been so angry about paying for a dinner in years!! I would gladly have paid that if the food was worth it. But it was disgustingly over marinated meat that was questionable at best! Never again!! THERE WAS LITERALLY NOTHING on the menu that is "Typically Korean" They should have offered other options for people who didn't want to eat the barbecue worked! Not even one thing! If I could give it a zero, I would!!

The AYCE rolls selection isn't the biggest, but there's all the basics plus a little extra (unless you want uni, then you're outta luck). They have a good variety of small dishes/appetizers, and all of those were surprisingly good. The chicken skewers and chicken bites were tender and juicy, and you can't go wrong with things like edamame and seaweed salad. Another plus were the rolls--they were small but mighty; plus, i prefer small rolls over giant ones if its AYCE. There's a good chunk of topping and the thinnest wrapping of rice around the sushi--toppings are also avocado heavy, which I know some people prefer. I also like that there's actual crab salad in the rolls and not just a block of kani--that extra bit of effort to make the crab salad goes a long way in terms of adding texture and flavor to rolls. The nigiri, on the other hand, had a lot of rice and a thin slice of fish--luckily, it's AYCE so you just eat your bite and move onto the rolls, but this will be disappointing for nigiri lovers. Service was okay--I feel like our waitress was serving 75% of the restaurant so she was either across the room or in the kitchen most of the time. When we did see her though, she was all smiles and very friendly. This is the best AYCE sushi joint we've have in Georgia so far so I'll definitely be back!
