    Sesame Chicken and fried rice
    Lauren W.

Not a fan. The fried rice was literally fried rice - no vegetables or flavor. The Mongolian beef and sesame chicken were subpar at most. I would skip this place.

    Sweet and sour chicken. Yummy

I had the lunch special w/ braised wings and fried rice. The wings were good but the rice wasn't. The lunch special did come with a can soda which is good..I guess. I think I was just expecting veggies or something else to be included. Maybe, I will give this place another try since its so close to my job...Maybe.

I expected a lot more for $10 of Chinese food. Did not enjoy the Orange Chicken at all.

I don't know if I've just been spoiled by other Chinese restaurants (especially Shangrila, which is in a league all it's own), but I felt that the portions were very small for the price. I got a full order of Orange chicken for $10, not a dinner or lunch special, and the chicken came in a smallish circular container with a cup size box of rice on the side. Because I was looking to have enough food for dinner for 2 nights I made sure to order the full portion, but based on other's photos I feel like I would have gotten more food for less money by getting the dinner special. I tried the chicken at the restaurant and the taste was very unpleasant; not sweet and spicy like orange chicken usually is. The sauce was watery with very little flavor other than hot and definitely not sweet. I asked if there was any way I could get something else and was told no. I contemplated throwing it out and going to a different restaurant but ended up bringing it home and ultimately eating it after some serious doctoring up (which made it decent). I've never had to do that with any restaurant food before. Not sure if this is "traditional" Chinese orange chicken or not, but maybe it's my fault for being used to the Americanized version? But based on portion size to price, taste, and customer service I would not recommend. *Edit* Added a star because of polite response from owner and the fact that I only tried one item on the menu. But my review still stands and I feel there are much better Chinese restaurants to choose from in the area.

My partner ordered the Sweet Pineapple chicken and it wasn't bad, to me it was just okay. We ordered the traditional Chinese fried rice (Combination) which was good. The lady who welcomed us in was very attentive, her service was lovely. The restaurant it's small but it has a charm to it and the Jazz music that was playing was very lovely.

On the other hand the food was ok, in my opinion, the fried rice was the best, but I have to say the beef in the fried rice tasted strange. We also ordered the Sesame Chicken, was like a 7. Then we had Sweet Pineapple Chicken, was like a 7 as well. The Crab Rangoon were a bit salty, for my taste. And last we tried the Pork Dumplings they were also okay. Not too impressed with this restaurant. It's soooo hard to find a truly amazing Chinese/Asian restaurant nowadays. Sorry, not sorry. My opinion.

Ordered to go fried rolls (chicken) and they were cold, soggy, and not at all fresh tasting. We arrived just a few minutes after it opened and there only two people who arrived to pick up food. It was otherwise empty until one couple came in about 20 minutes later. I am not sure why, but it took forever for our food to get to our table. We asked for two different levels of hot and neither one of them had any level of hot, and I think that's because of the language barrier between us and the server. Beyond the hotness level, the pad Thai had a very faint tomato taste, and other than that had no flavor of spices of any kind. We also found little pieces of scrambled egg in the bottom that also was just there, but didn't add to the flavor of the dish as it normally does. I don't know that I've been disappointed with a pad Thai dish in this way in such a long time. I'll keep looking at my travels and when I let you know if I find another great spot for pad Thai in this area I will definitely post.

I've had their braised spicy beef noodle soup, salt and pepper tofu, mini juicy buns, and Szechuan style Wonton and they were all amazing. They also have a whole sushi and lunch section, but I haven't tried them yet. My friend got the Szechuan spicy beef and the portion size was comically large. I view that as a good thing but it also confused me because I don't see how anyone could eat even close to that much so I'm wondering if it is expected to be eaten differently than I am assuming. Not only was it a lot of food, it was also quite spicy so you'd have to be a tank to finish it. I gave this a lower score originally because of a bad health inspection, but they fixed it so I'm bringing it up to 5 stars. This is what I originally wrote: I really want to rate this place 5 stars based on my experience. Unfortunately, I must inform you that they received a 51/100 health inspection score yesterday (2/18/2026), so imma leave it at 3 for now and hopefully update once they fix that problem. It was on a routine inspection too. I've worked in a few restaurants that have had that sort of visit and we always knew long beforehand, so we'd use the few days prior to make things look perfect for the inspection, and then the kitchen would fall back to their usual lower sanitary conditions afterwards. I can't even imagine how a restaurant gets a 51 from a routine inspection. It implies that the regular conditions are bad and the management is ineffective or that the regular conditions are so awful that the preparatory cleaning wasn't enough. I think a grade of U forces them to have a follow up visit sometime soon that determines if they can even stay in business. So hopefully I get to update this quickly.
