We browsed and both found a few things to get. Prices very competitive with items ranging from $5 to very expensive for large gems. I love that the store has rock band items as well, vintage t shirts, records, wall art. I'm a Beatles fan, so I was in heaven. The store was very easy to get around and see different groupings of stones and themes. Just a welcoming and cool place to be. Large inside, not just a tiny alley of a store. Comfy couch to sit on! And the smell of the place was clean, with hint of pleasant incense or oils. Nothing overpowering, which I like. Some new age places are really too much! If you like rocks or rock bands, skulls, jewelry, etc, check this place out. We will definitely be back. The owner Lisa has been collecting for decades, and really knows her stuff-- a new business owner like her deserves some love!

It was winter so they had some really cute sweaters, dresses, and festive Christmas items and gifts for sale. The clothing style is the boho chic-type look. Not exactly my style. But, if it is your style, there were some very cute items inside at reasonable prices - like $42 for a sweater. Honestly, not a ton of selection and it's been raining a lot so their gravel lot was wet, had some potholes and some puddles for the drive/walk inside. I see Sweet Jane walking in brown corduroy bell  bottoms with lace bell sleeve top shirt. To top it off she is wearing black gogo boots. As an afterthought,  Jane is wearing black lipstick and has a black flower in her hair. Okay, I am getting way off topic.   Half Moon Beads and Rocks is a seventies store, but they have some nice merchandise.  The incense figures are very colorful and cute.  (a word I hear a lot of. I challenge women to go one week without using the word cute) If I were big on using incense, I would be tempted to buy one of these creations.   The dragons are the ones I like the most. Aside from that, there wasn't much that got my attention as far as merchandise is concerned. The owner or manager of the store had a striking resemblance to my cousin Carla. Her mannerism  were spot on too.   Small world at times. My time at this store was fun, but I am not sure when I will be back, but the next time we stop by, there might be some more cool stuff in this store.  Oh, and when talking to the owner or manager of the store, she was very down to earth just like my cousin, but it can be hard to tell at times.  Another thing this woman and my cousin have in common.

We walked the store but couldn't find it, when asked again if we needed help my friend explained what she was looking for; they sadly let us know they no longer had it in stock. I will say, the shop is a higher price range but if I had the extra I would totally buy from here. Good job to the employees though, feeling welcomed was a good change for us after checking out several other boutiques. I know she'll be buying from their online shop for sure.

Located in the Vibe District just off Atlantic on corner of Virginia Beach Blvd. it was a former abandoned building turned retail block with a Virginia ABC liquor store. Free parking is in the rear. They have a back door that's handy. The shop is small, but has a good amount of inventory. It's an upscale boutique with prices that match. However they have quality and both trendy and traditional type of styles that are vibrant. My daughter found many items she loved and did have a return of an item that did not work. Their return policy is 7 days for a full refund back to card. After and 7 days up to 30 days store credit. There was a hassle free return back to the credit card. As it turned out the young Asian woman was the owner. The owner invited my daughter back as they will receive new inventory on Friday. Great local business that needs support as they just start up.

My daughter has been a fan of the Oceanfront store for a few years primarily due to their selection of OnU necklaces which are very hot with not only young ladies but adult women as well. The location off Laskin is one block from the Oceanfront and Atlantic Ave. Parking in their rear lot is FREE and the store can be accessed by a rear entrance. Parking in front is by meter. The store's walk up in front and back has been clean and neat. The business is situated on a short strip with a couple other businesses. I love the 60's retro feel of the building. Lemon carries home decor, ladies beach fashion, books and lots of unique items that you can't easily find else where. They are well known for a fantastic selection of costume jewelry. The store may be smallish, but it's packed with goodies. The feel is fresh, bright and service immediately welcoming. On every occasion there has been one of the two-three ladies ask if they can assist with no pressure to purchase. Yesterday while visiting my daughter wanted to purchase a OnU necklace. The inventory was depleted as a shipment is due in soon. Chic instructed us to follow their Instagram page which would announce the arrival of the shipment. My daughter happen to be wearing her OnU necklace and had a stubborn knot in it. Chic offered to work on it while we got lunch. Upon returning an hour later the knot was out to a happy young lady.
