Update 3/10/25 I changed my review to 5. The billing department finally was able to fix the billing problem. They sent me an email apologizing and saying, that I don't owe nothing. I have been with this company for over 25 years. Always very pleased with the services. Lately I have been disagreeing with billing for an invoice that Tricare should pay. Apparently and according with Tricare the billing department need to submit a form for Tricare to approve the payment and they have not submitted. It's been few months trying to find a solution. I went to the office today and hopefully this will be fix. I still gave them four star because these people has been very good to my family and I don't think is fair to give them less just for one disagreement. I will update this review. read more

Great prices on frames and some of the lowest frames+prescription costs I have seen around here. The staff is friendly and helpful. I am not a patient here and have never seen any of the optometrists so my experience is only based on purchasing frames from the store. read more

Had my first eye exam today and i can say the frontline clerks were Great , paperwork was easy to fill out, and the nurse that took you in the back was super nice and was on point to check my eyes. And Dr Devito was super honest about what the issue my eyes had. With that he is a veteran just like me. I can say i found my new optometrist.. I highly recommend him. read more

If I could've given 0 stars I would have. I've been a patient at DiVito & Martin Optometry since 2012. My doctor is Dr. DiVito, but I've seen Dr. Martin once before, and I always have a pleasant visit until today. I scheduled an appointment about a month ago for today, November 1, 2022, at 12:45pm. I arrived, did the usual paperwork, and took a seat. I was called to the back at roughly 2:10pm to do the routine tests then was instructed to take another seat and wait again. I didn't see Dr. DiVito until around 2:30pm, and the visit was less than 10 minutes. He addressed some eye-related concerns I had then offered me a 25% discount on any pair of glasses for my wait, leaving me satisfied. He walked me to the area for contacts and was on his way. I received my contacts and was walked to the area to pick out my glasses. There was a lady with her mother, already being assisted by an employee, searching for glasses for her mother. There was also another employee at a desk reading a file. I presume assisting the lady with her mother. The lady walking me to the glasses area sat my file on the table and proceeded to look for someone to assist me. She walked toward the back office to find someone just as another employee was walking out. She asked the other employee to assist me. She responded "NO! I have to see who's next. I'm sorry" in a "that's not my job" kind of tone and walked off apathetically. The lady from the contacts area instructed me to just begin looking at frames and I'd be helped shortly and then left. The other lady grabbed the file from the desk and saw I was in fact next. I was already looking at frames when she asked if I wanted glasses. I replied yes. She asked a second time, and I didn't respond. I obviously wanted glasses. That's why I was brought over here and why the contacts lady was searching for someone to assist me. I looked at every pair of frames in the store, some even twice, before she asked if I wanted to see something in particular from the cases. I declined. I was looking for a pair of frames that resemble the glasses I already have, which I purchased from here. She never asked if there was something in particular I was looking for nor did I feel like she wanted to assist me based on her initial statement/tone. She walked off and proceeded to tell another employee "Maybe someone else should help her". I agreed, and as I proceeded to tell her about her lack of customer service and how she didn't want to help me from the beginning, the incident escalate. She quickly informed the manager of her version of the story, leaving out any fault of her own. The manger, not willing to hear my side and over talking me, proceeded to tell me his employee was correct in how she handled the whole ordeal. When I asked for a comment card, I was told they didn't have any. Very convenient. When I asked for the manager's superior, I was told there was no one else to speak to. Oh, okay. As much as I love Dr. DiVito, they won't be getting another dollar of my money. I don't spend my money where I feel I'm not welcome. Ultimately, I left without purchasing glasses, and I don't plan on returning nor referring anyone else to DiVito & Martin Optometry. The employees as well as the manager needs a refresher course in customer service. read more

Well, this is one of the worst businesses ever!!! Why you might ask? I called and scheduled an appointment about two months ago...(that was the earliest they had available). I got off from work and booked it to the office as fast I could. I got there at 4:10... I was told, "You will have to reschedule!" I said, "Well I really can't do that because of my schedule and I've been waiting two months for this appointment." The office manager came out and said, "Well you are actually 25 minutes late because we ask everyone to get here 10-15 minutes early." I asked if I could speak to one of the doctors since I have been a patient here for 20 years. He said, "No I am the practice manager and they answer to me!" I said, "Ok, can I have a copy of my records?" He said, "There's a $25.00 charge for that or you can go to another doctor and have them to request them for free." #NOTTHEPLACEFORME read more

Natasha and Bren(front desk) are always so friendly and helpful. Dr. Devito is very patient and always explains everything thoroughly. Justin, the lab tech is also awesome. Went in last Thursday 08/01/19 to get an eye exam done. Picked out a pair of Rayban glasses I liked and asked if they could get done by next Wednesday which would've been 08/07/19. Received a call today 08/05/19 stating both my regular glasses I bought and my Rayban sunglasses (changed to prescription were done). The people here are extremely friendly and I won't go to another eye doctor until I leave VA. Excellent customer service and awesome work done in a short time for me. On top of that the doctor gave me 25% off because I'm in the military! read more

Came here to get a prescription filled from another optometrists, they took my information, explained the process and provided me with a card to show the number that I should expect a text from when my prescription arrives. As usual I'm greeted by staff in very professional manner. I am then promptly seem by my favorite Doctor. Doctor Martín,,He explains well enough even a toddler could understand. Theres always a great selection of frames to choose from. The prices very from moderately priced to expensive for those of us that enjoy an extravagance. They do accept most insurances including Care Credit. I leave with those "hope no cutie pie sees me in these shades" to my car. Overall very good experience from start to finish. Drs. Devito & Martin have been my eye doctors since the late '90s. They've seen my eyes go through different stages as a child to now, in my 30s. Very consistent, detailed and helpful. They also take their time to listen to what's going on, and are honest with their recommendations. Most of all, they are very professional and have made me feel welcome!
