Seems like the business model is centered around reselling scrap/junk parts. They had all the parts…read moreneeded for me to purchase a fully intact minifigure in good condition, but refused to sell to me (even though I offered to pay the difference) because it was more profitable to split the damaged pieces between two minifigures. The only way they would sell me the pieces I wanted was if I bought both incomplete figures. Bad business, especially when everything is already significantly marked up. Edit: Nina, your analogy is absurd and I am not going to even dignify it with a response. Despite your wall of text, you failed to recognize that the underlying problem is that you are pairing good parts with garbage parts as a means of forcing people to buy the trash if they want the good pieces. I actually did *not* want your junk - which is why I did not make a purchase and offered to pay MORE for the complete figure. You earned your 1 star review and I hope it was worth the $5 in prospective profit you made by refusing to sell the minifigure intact. Sorry that I was polite in my initial email (before you explained the intentional predatory practice of pairing damaged pieces with good ones). Final Edit: Nina, your excuse that you could not sell me the figure in "good conscious" because you didnt want to "rip me off" is laughable. selling things at a markup is your business model. there is nothing wrong with that. everything in your store can be found cheaper on Bricklink, but you guys are brick and mortar and need to make money. I get it. What does NOT make sense is that I could have bought both incomplete figures for $55, but you claim you would have had to charge me $60 for one complete figure without the damaged torso and hair pieces? the math does not add up and makes the predatory strategy pretty clear.
