    Broth. Veggie

Ohhhhh this place is FANTASTIC!!! Okay so why 4stars and not 5? Well, it's pricey! I get it, inflation! I get it, overhead costs! I get it, we live in a time of over the top expense. Really do. My thing is, for four people plus a tip it was $190. That's a bit extreme. Let me explain. Now, the food was delicious! The presentation phenomenal. Clean, and well kept for a cook-it yourself place. You get very little with each amount ordered. It's supposed to be thinly sliced to cook easily in the boiling broth base. I get that, but you don't even get 3oz which is a serving of the meat you order. You get 3 small thin strips. Dumplings 2 small ones, crab drops 2 small. You se four be user 3 of us ordered the same thing. You do get a full bowl of whatever noodles you ordered. I chose the sweet potato ones, delicious! Again it was good but for the price......it's a treat kinda place not a regular dining place. With that being said, if you have the spare change GO! Save up and go!! It's very good. Super fresh! Fun to just cook what you want and chat with your friends. There are many choices. From chicken and simple veggies to fish and more exotic ones. (Lamb, chicken, beef, crab, shrimp, quail eggs, and so on) You can do the BBQ table as well or just the Korean one. There is a salad bar and an ice cream bar. Our server, whose name eludes me; was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. Explained it all and made it easy to order and enjoy. Again great place just kinda pricey.

Galbi (short rib) were very very fatty! Floors were very slippery. You have to get your condiments (dips, oils, etc.) at the other side of the restaurant. Restrooms were also slippery. We got in a bit after 10 pm, We were not told that we were gonna be rushed out an hour after. They should not have allowed us in if we couldn't eat our food. We were cooking the last of the meat when they turned the stove from the back room. We ended up wasting galbi and other steak because of this. Had they left it on, we could have finished our meal and left happy. We paid full price and we were going as fast as we can. There were 5 of us that they made money from. They could have charged us less if they knew this was gonna happen. We live in Austin and they did not even let us wash our hands and use the bathroom- we had over an hour drive. So disappointed at this place. Terrible experience!

We came here for lunch on a Saturday to enjoy KBBQ. The restaurant wasn't super busy. We were seated at a table where the grill was more on the end of the table instead of the middle for the entire party to be able to get meat easily. I found it odd that none of the grills had an overhead vent. When ordering meats, they bring out single portions of meat. You can order more meat once you start grilling as my niece was wanting more. She really enjoyed the bulgogi and that was all she wanted. The galbi ribs were decent. A bit on the fatty side and it is good that they were sliced thin so they can cook faster. Unlike other KBBQ spots, you are not served banchan at all. One person came out to bring our rice bowls and that was all. You must visit the buffet area to get kimchi or radish kimchi and there isn't a variety of side dishes either. The server let us know to visit the buffet area to get our sauces. They do have fried chicken and egg rolls you can eat from the buffet area if you would like. I came for bbq so I skipped it entirely. They are definitely fully staffed here which is a plus. There were servers in the back bar area waiting for tables. They don't offer you a button for service so if you need drinks refilled or meat replenished you will need to wave down a server. The overall experience here was decent. While I might not go out of my way to visit, I'd consider it since the price for KBBQ is definitely reasonable. This restaurant offers a different KBBQ experience if you are a KBBQ connoisseur so be ready.

One grill for a party of 5! Imagine that.

Treated my family here for Korean BBQ and was disappointed on the table format. We were a party of 5 with one BBQ grill! Imagine that? It was mostly one person cooking. Everyone should be involved. That's the whole point of table top BBQ. On the other hand, they had multiple burners for hot pot, but we weren't there for that. Just don't come here with a large party that can't share one grill. Other places I've been to provide portable grills in these kind of situation. They never offered it. The food came out fast in the beginning then later non existent. Either they intentionally slow down or they are understaffed. I suggest avoid the rush hour if you can help it. Food was great, but the overall experience was not. I hope they improve the BBQ experience or strictly just serve hot pot.

Bland, milky mess. I know there must be better seasoned food on the menu.

Soup was lackluster. Not really seasoned well and no additional condiments sent along like soy sauce or peppers.

    Pricing, date on December 26

Variety of sides, great customer service, many forms of entertainment. Several televisions turned on to different sport channels. Live music show going on in da back as I'm eating. I'm getting turnt up waiting for my Bulgogi to cook. Self serve sauce section, variety of different sauces to pair with.

Hot pot with clams, crab sticks, beef, pork belly, tofu rolls.

The seafood selection on a Wednesday night seemed very small and there were fewer things laid out compared to what I saw on other people's pictures. The veg selection is not as comprehensive as some of the otjer places. The meats were very tasty, even just restricted to the classic menu instead of the premium menu. Note that there is a $2 broth fee for every person up to four per table so instead of $28.99 for dinner it's more like $30.99. That feels like a slight gimmick to make the price feel cheaper.

We arrived at 8:45pm. I debated on the star rating between 4&3 stars simply due to the lack of service. Pros: the broths are delicious, great meat choices on the menu, the buffet had plenty of veggies, seafood, pickled radish-my fave, pleanty of sauces, and that fried chicken was so good, too good . Cons: restaurant closes at 10 but last call and buffet closes at 9:30. The buffet is not restocked often around 8:45/9pm. The service was not great at all. We weren't greeted, weren't asked if if it was our first time, weren't told anything about the menu, buffet, drinks or the ordering process. We weren't given utensils for our hot pot, I had to find our server and ask if there were hot pot utensils available. All we had were our chopsticks and soup spoons. No one checked on us, we just finned for ourselves. When you first enter theres a hostess counter and a wait-list sign in tablet. There was someone at the counter but they ignored us when we walked in so I went straight to the tablet to sign in. While figuring the tablet out, a server walked (she seemed frantic) and said how many, party of 2, she took us to a booth, gave us menus and walked off. Not the best first impression and the service stayed that way the remainder of our visit. No explanation of the menu, ordering process or buffet. We had to ask multiple times about the ordering and food experience. Even had to ask if we would get drinks. The server said, it's over there. We ordered a split pot, 1 side spicy marrow and 1 side mushroom marrow. Note: spicy marrow has the szeschuan peppercorn, you've been forewarned. The mushroom broth was absolutely delicious! We ordered the premium menu but would have been just fine with the basic meat menu. We made the mistake of filling up on the buffet fried chicken and egg rolls and pickled radish. We added veggies and meat to our hot and let it cook a little bit before enjoying such great flavor. Nice surprise when we were leaving, I saw complimentary ice cream cups dessert. Note for next time, try to go during happy hour on a weekday or lunch. If dinner, arrive before 8pm. Anywho, we will be back and do recommend this location for hot pot.

It can get pricey, I ended up shelling 50$ for meats and veggies, 2 soup selections, and condiment bar. The best part was fresh shrimps and meats, almost all meat was good quality compared to frozen extreme thin sliced stuff at other hotpots. I went with the spicy broth and the tom yum and both were actually really solid. Good flavor, nothing crazy but definitely hits. Pricing is à la carte. The broths were $12.99 total. I got 3 red plates of meat which I was told were $3.99 each plus a plate of mushrooms for $2.99. There's also a sauce/snack bar for $2.99 and rice is available but you have to ask for it. Based on that my total should've been about $30.26 after Texas tax but my bill came out to $31.29. Not a huge difference but it did make me feel like the plate pricing might not have been exactly what was said. Food wise though it was good and it's a nice option if you don't want all you can eat and just want to control what you get. I went on a Monday and they had a deal where you get $35 worth of hot pot items for $17.50 plus the cost of broth. Honestly that's probably the move if you're hungry. I skipped it because I didn't want to over order but you definitely get more value that way. One thing that really didn't sit right with me. Around 9:30, about 30 minutes before closing, I asked to order another plate of lamb and they refused, saying they would have to open the fridge. That's just not good service. If you're still open and serving customers, you should be willing to fulfill a simple order like that. Hard to justify tipping when service is handled like that. Overall good flavors and simple setup, but between the pricing confusion and that experience at the end, service could definitely be better.

Located at the corner of a strip mall, it was easy to find. There was also plenty of parking as it shares space with Sprouts. Walking in, we were quickly seated. All the plating was already set, and they have really pretty personal-sized hot pots. Their à la carte menu was larger than expected, offering comfort food suggest as xiao long bao (soup dumplings) and noodle soups. We ordered a beef noodle medium spicy and a beef noodle soup with no spiciness added. We also ordered the soup dumplings to give them a try. The place is a bit small but it is great for small groups, like 2-4 people. They have their hot pots selections along the far wall and a sauce station. Our food came out after roughly 10 minutes with beautiful presentation. Both noodle soups were delicious, though the medium spicy turned out to be spicier than expected and I personally thought the broth was too rich. The soup dumplings unfortunately weren't soupy at all. They were more like fish balls with dumpling wrapper. They were dry and a bit tough to eat. The sauce that came with it could have used some crushed garlic for added taste. Overall, not bad, though next time we'll try their hot pot to see if we'll have a different experience.
