Upon our first visit, she offered us several tastings of the various flavors they had with great description for each so that we found the most fitting ones for our appetite. Although the wait is a bit long, it seems as though it's all made to order. The wait was worth all of the flavor we got! However, on other times when the owner isn't around, you can tell the service vastly differs. The cooks in the back talk poorly really loud about how much they hate working and don't want to be there. The host/waiters at the front look miserable and are unpleasant to talk to both with their faces and attitude in interactions. At least the quality of the food was still there during these times which brings us back for more. But, we probably won't be dining in again and would prefer takeout after these latter meals we had there. read more

The food took about 10 minuted to come out and you could tell it was made to order, it was all fresh and tasted like it. I've been a huge BBQ Chicken fan for years. Whether I was in Korea or anywhere else in the U.S., if there was a BBQ Chicken nearby, I always chose it. That's why this review is especially disappointing for me. I really wanted this location to become my go-to place, but unfortunately, both times I ordered, the chicken was overwhelmingly salty--so salty that it overwhelmed all the other flavors. I thought the first visit might have been a one-time mistake, so I came back and ordered a different menu item. Sadly, it had the exact same issue, and it was so salty that I couldn't finish it and ended up throwing it away. I'm not writing this to criticize the restaurant. I'm writing this because I genuinely want this location to succeed. BBQ Chicken has always been one of my favorite fried chicken brands, and I hope the team will check the seasoning and quality control so the food can reflect the standard the brand is known for. I have been so intrigued and wanted to try it that when I was in the area I decided to finally try! What drew me to this place was the KiMCHi FRiED RiCE. This dish so happens to be a big favorite of mine. I was born and raised in Hawai'i and this dish brings me back home. This dish is 5/5. The offer it with cheese as an add on and I enjoy every bite! I also tried the Chicken Fried Rice (w/o cheese) and it's also very tasty. I've only tried the boneless wings and the original, galbi, and cheeseling choices are GREAT! As a consumer you should know this place is influenced by Korean flavors. If you like certain or have specific sauces and flavors you enjoy, I suggest ordering the original and dipping it in your favorite sauce for those of you who enjoy wet sauces. This option is a great way to enjoy their chicken as well. I have yet to try the other flavors but so far, the Galbi Boneless Wings are my favorite. Of course, both fried rice options are always included in my order. I also suggest ordering ahead online on the bb.Q chicken website. Ordering anywhere outside of their actually website will be an increased charge (which i'm sure is due to the charge from UberEats, GH, etc). We had came to their soft opening, once walking in we were greeted and ordered at the counter. The staff were very helpful with their menu. The vibe here was pleasant played good music. They gave us our fries first very hot, crispy and fresh. I would say the waffle fries had a lot of flavor didn't even need ranch.
