Another great hot pot spot in Austin! I came around 7PM on a Saturday and was surprised to see it was really empty, but it was truly such a great experience! The owner/manager took such great care of my friend and me, and the experience was wonderful. The establishment is really clean and bright, and I love that everyone gets their own individual hot pots. For $30 AYCE, I thought it was a really great deal. They have so many seafood and veggie options, and the ingredients are really clean and fresh. Their meat quality is also really great, and I love that their spicy hot pot broth is made from in-house made chili oil and paste. Please come support them! They're definitely a small business who deserves a lot of love.

So great! A nice new place in Cedar Park for some good hot pot. They had an all you can eat $19.99 lunch happy hour which was a great deal. The staff was so incredibly friendly. Highly recommend asking the male staff member to make his special sauce for dipping your meat in.

What a cute spot in the area! Came here for lunch and I was impressed how chic and clean this place looks. We didn't have time to do the AYCE option. I chose the beef roll malatang aka beef hotpot and it was delicious to have it with a bowl of rice. Service was attentive. We would come here again.

It can get pricey, I ended up shelling 50$ for meats and veggies, 2 soup selections, and condiment bar. The best part was fresh shrimps and meats, almost all meat was good quality compared to frozen extreme thin sliced stuff at other hotpots. The soup base are legit af, the sichuan spicy will knock u off so beware, second one was redhot braised which according to me is better. The soup base have a lot of veggies like carrots and onions so don't waste money on those while picking. So for shrimp and meats and make most of ur time here. The sauce bar is small but again quality stuff, the suaces tasted much better than other places. Why not 5 stars, for my liking picking up and sitting and eating is a little inconvenient just want to sit an order to my liking

I went with the spicy broth and the tom yum and both were actually really solid. Good flavor, nothing crazy but definitely hits. Pricing is à la carte. The broths were $12.99 total. I got 3 red plates of meat which I was told were $3.99 each plus a plate of mushrooms for $2.99. There's also a sauce/snack bar for $2.99 and rice is available but you have to ask for it. Based on that my total should've been about $30.26 after Texas tax but my bill came out to $31.29. Not a huge difference but it did make me feel like the plate pricing might not have been exactly what was said. Food wise though it was good and it's a nice option if you don't want all you can eat and just want to control what you get. I went on a Monday and they had a deal where you get $35 worth of hot pot items for $17.50 plus the cost of broth. Honestly that's probably the move if you're hungry. I skipped it because I didn't want to over order but you definitely get more value that way. One thing that really didn't sit right with me. Around 9:30, about 30 minutes before closing, I asked to order another plate of lamb and they refused, saying they would have to open the fridge. That's just not good service. If you're still open and serving customers, you should be willing to fulfill a simple order like that. Hard to justify tipping when service is handled like that. Overall good flavors and simple setup, but between the pricing confusion and that experience at the end, service could definitely be better.

Narrow Street 512 serves up Authentic Korean food with a personal touch. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your Aunt's home in Korea. I experienced Narrow Street as a solo diner. My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You can dine solo or go in a big group as there is plenty of seating at the Hmart Food court. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food. The Korean ladies who work there are super friendly and will help you make your menu selection if you have any questions. I've been a dedicated regular since 2023. Narrow Street is my go-to for my Korean food fix!

Let's get the good out of the way - the food was what we expected. No complaints there. If you've been to The Melting Pot, you'll know what to expect and I didn't notice any difference in quality there. The restaurant looks just like the others inside. We were seated relatively quickly after arriving. Now, the really not good. Our waitress was the worst server we have ever experienced and I'm not exaggerating. In our probably hour or more there, I think we saw her for a total of 5 minutes? Including while she was at the table preparing the food. She disappeared constantly and would be gone for 10 or more minutes without checking in. I asked her for a water refill, waited so long for her to return that I decided to flag down a different waiter, got a refill from him, and then DRANK THAT WHOLE GLASS before she ever came back. Still wiithout a refill for me. When our salads came, she had no dressing for mine. She left to go get it and didn't come back until the others had fully finished their salads. I ordered a strawberry lemonade when we first sat down. It never came and so we asked about it at dessert to make sure it wouldn't be on the check, and before we could finish asking, she said 'OH!' and left, and then came back 5 min later with it. It wasn't exactly what I wanted to drink with my chocolate. She never asked if we were celebrating anything even though there were two birthday tables next to us whose wait staff made HUGE deals about their birthdays, AND it was on the reservation notes. Here's the thing. She never apologized for any of the wait times, or disappearing, or forgetting things. Even after all of the mishaps, my review would have been a 4 star if she'd ever once acknowledged how comically bad it was all going. This experience was so bad that I had to share it. Usually I gloss over less than stellar service, but this deserved to be immortalized.

We arrived at 8:45pm. I debated on the star rating between 4&3 stars simply due to the lack of service. Pros: the broths are delicious, great meat choices on the menu, the buffet had plenty of veggies, seafood, pickled radish-my fave, pleanty of sauces, and that fried chicken was so good, too good . Cons: restaurant closes at 10 but last call and buffet closes at 9:30. The buffet is not restocked often around 8:45/9pm. The service was not great at all. We weren't greeted, weren't asked if if it was our first time, weren't told anything about the menu, buffet, drinks or the ordering process. We weren't given utensils for our hot pot, I had to find our server and ask if there were hot pot utensils available. All we had were our chopsticks and soup spoons. No one checked on us, we just finned for ourselves. When you first enter theres a hostess counter and a wait-list sign in tablet. There was someone at the counter but they ignored us when we walked in so I went straight to the tablet to sign in. While figuring the tablet out, a server walked (she seemed frantic) and said how many, party of 2, she took us to a booth, gave us menus and walked off. Not the best first impression and the service stayed that way the remainder of our visit. No explanation of the menu, ordering process or buffet. We had to ask multiple times about the ordering and food experience. Even had to ask if we would get drinks. The server said, it's over there. We ordered a split pot, 1 side spicy marrow and 1 side mushroom marrow. Note: spicy marrow has the szeschuan peppercorn, you've been forewarned. The mushroom broth was absolutely delicious! We ordered the premium menu but would have been just fine with the basic meat menu. We made the mistake of filling up on the buffet fried chicken and egg rolls and pickled radish. We added veggies and meat to our hot and let it cook a little bit before enjoying such great flavor. Nice surprise when we were leaving, I saw complimentary ice cream cups dessert. Note for next time, try to go during happy hour on a weekday or lunch. If dinner, arrive before 8pm. Anywho, we will be back and do recommend this location for hot pot.

My only complaint is that we were asked if we were ready to order as soon as we sat down. It was the first time for all 4 of us so we needed time to look around. I have to note that the meat quality overall is pretty good. We got a premium beef combo for a group of 4 and added some pork belly. It was a great amount of food and we were stuffed. The beer prices are pretty good, especially for large bottles. Banchan is fresh and tasted good, the staff made effort to refill it mid-dinner. Prices for individual plates of meats are rather on a high end for about $24 for 3 slices of pork belly. Adding lettuce is a must to make ssams. For roughly $60 the wife was full and we had roughly 6 dishes and one cocktail (I was still slightly hungry). Think of it as more of a tapas style ordering. Soft shelled crab - My absolute favorite and by far the best dish! Crispy from the breading, soft shell and subtle crab taste, and to top it off the fried egg adds some creaminess from the yolk. Not greasy at all due to the way it's fried. And who doesn't like a little microgreen to add some freshness to it?! It could likely use a little more salt, and this particular time the yolk was a overcooked. Sushi Tacos - 2nd favorite! You get two, and frankly I prefer not sharing these (although my wife forced me to). It's such a unique dish. Each taco is palm sized. They take a yummy piece of laver (seaweed), coat one side and deep fry it to make a nice hard shell taco casing. Then they fill it with sushi rice, top it with plentiful tuna, add a slice of avocado, and top it with micro greens. Refreshing, light (once you squeeze the tiny lime on top), slightly filling due to the rice, and absolutely delicious. Takoyaki - I'm not a fan, but the wife is. For me it's a texture thing. Even when visiting Japan I didn't enjoy this dish. Honestly though I do think it deserves far more bonito flakes, as the dish is meant to look alive from the waving flakes. Honestly we love this place so much, I always get engrossed in the food so much I forget to take pics.
