What a beautiful and bright space for a lunch date with husband today with our winter freeze of a storm rolling in! We were absolutely blown away with the warm welcome, the AYCE offerings and variety of sauces, and meat selection for a good meal of protein options. And at $20 lunch pricing for an AYCE protein healthy meal, it's a great deal! Veggies in the fridge area were fresh and cleanly maintained, I absolutely kept piling up taro and corn, and shrimp and fish balls and there was no stopping me :) The store manager continued to ask if we wanted to get more meat, which was beef, lamb and pork belly during lunch pricing and I didn't want to food coma myself but absolutely loved the individual portion of the broth we got. Husband got the tomato broth and I went with spicy, both were great options, and we also had the option of original and/or mushroom. Parking is abundant in CP as it's in the corner where Sprouts is located. We really enjoyed this meal and can't wait to come back as everything was well maintained and the staff were on top of their service and attentive in all things!

Another great hot pot spot in Austin! I came around 7PM on a Saturday and was surprised to see it was really empty, but it was truly such a great experience! The owner/manager took such great care of my friend and me, and the experience was wonderful. The establishment is really clean and bright, and I love that everyone gets their own individual hot pots. For $30 AYCE, I thought it was a really great deal. They have so many seafood and veggie options, and the ingredients are really clean and fresh. Their meat quality is also really great, and I love that their spicy hot pot broth is made from in-house made chili oil and paste. Please come support them! They're definitely a small business who deserves a lot of love.

This place is pretty solid. First, the hand made meatballs are great. Inside, the place is nice and clean. The owner is constantly making sure everything always stays clean. I will say, if you have 4 Adults at a table of 4, expect to be very cramped. I think tables need to be longer and wider. We had to adults and 2 smaller kids and found it pretty cramped. The food itself is really what you'd expect from hotpot and on par with most of the other place. The normal broth according to my kids is a bit bland. Overall, great place with a super friendly owner.

What a cute spot in the area! Came here for lunch and I was impressed how chic and clean this place looks. We didn't have time to do the AYCE option. I chose the beef roll malatang aka beef hotpot and it was delicious to have it with a bowl of rice. Service was attentive. We would come here again.

So great! A nice new place in Cedar Park for some good hot pot. They had an all you can eat $19.99 lunch happy hour which was a great deal. The staff was so incredibly friendly. Highly recommend asking the male staff member to make his special sauce for dipping your meat in.

It looked like they expanded their menu since the last time we ate here. We opted for a Shoyu Beef Ramen Soup and a Hot Pot Beef Noodle Soup. We grabbed our water cups and a carafe filled with iced water from their beverage fridge, and chose our table to sit at. We chose a location away from the front entrance, which faces west towards the sun. Our food was quickly brought out to us less than 5 minutes later, and our soups were very good. They have a very spicy broth for their Hot Pot Noodle Soup, which P2 really enjoyed. I was also happy with my shoyu ramen, which I thought was seasoned perfectly. The music here wasn't loud and it was easy to carry a conversation. The interior aesthetics of this place reminded me of a Japanese restaurant, despite this restaurant servicing Taiwanese fare. Unfortunately, they don't sell alcohol here. I would have loved to drink a beer here with its solid vibes. I took off a star because of the blinding sunlight that pours into the space. Each time we came, we had to be strategic on where we sat so that we or our friends didn't have to face the sun. But other than that, Noodly Alley continues to be a reliable choice for authentic Taiwanese food.

Been meaning to try this place for a few years, and I finally made the drive up to Cedar Park to…read moretry what many online threads claim is the most authentic ramen in the area. The broth is delicate -- dashi-forward and mellow. One thing Ramen 512 does really well is the condiment setup. The way a diner has salt, pepper, ketchup, and Tabasco on the table, Ramen 512 offers togarashi, black pepper, rice vinegar, and chili oil -- exactly what a ramen shop should have. Since the broth was a bit light for my taste, I used the chili oil and pepper to dial it in. The noodles are thin and slightly soft, reminiscent of chūka soba. Not bad, but not my favorite style. The ajitsuke tamago (seasoned egg) is decent. The menma (bamboo shoots) were cut too thick. I ordered extra scallions but didn't get much. The chashu meat was chicken, which is fine. The internet isn't wrong -- this is authentic ramen, faithful to its roots. But it's also firmly mid. In Japan, ramen exists on a spectrum: there are bowls people line up hours for, and there are bowls you grab at an airport or a food court -- perfectly respectable, just unremarkable. Ramen 512 lives closer to the latter. It respects the craft without pushing it forward. It won't make you count the days until your next visit. But it's a solid neighborhood bowl, and I'm glad it exists. **8/10**

Everything they serve is made from scratch including their noodles and broth but the pricing is incredibly reasonable. Their customer service is top-notch which is just the icing on the cake! FAST FACTS: * Parking - located in a shopping center with a large parking lot * Reservations - no but you put your name into a tablet when you arrive to join the queue if there's a wait * Online ordering - available for pickup on their website * Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays * Weekly specials available until sold out (check their Instagram or Facebook) SERVICE - We arrived at 6:35 pm on a Sunday and were 4th in line after joining the queue through the tablet. Our table was ready at 7:00 pm and one of the workers kept us updated about the status of our table several times while we waited. Once seated, there is a QR code on the table to scan and place your order. Our server brought water to the table right away and checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we had what we needed. All of our food was prepared and delivered to the table about 10 minutes after ordering. I was incredibly impressed by the customer service! PRICING - The total was $67.65 after tax ($5.15) but before tip for a chicken karaage ($8), signature shoyu ($17) with extra spinach ($1.50) and extra kikurage mushrooms ($1.50), classic tonkotsu ($17), and black tonkotsu ($17.50). I think the pricing is reasonable for the quality of ingreidents and portion size. CHICKEN KARAGAGE (8/10): The chicken is incredibly juicy and tender while the coating is crispy! The Japanese mayo on the side for dipping is delicious. It comes with several large pieces so it's a great option for an appetizer to share. SIGNATURE SHOYU (8/10): This is a Tokyo-style shoyu ramen with chicken and dashi broth that's savory, umami, and a little tangy. It comes with pork chashu (I subbed chicken for no extra cost), homemade noodles, spinach, bamboo shoot, scallion, nori, Japanese fish cake, and half a soy egg. I added extra spinach and kikurage mushrooms for $1.50 each. CLASSIC TONKOTSU (9/10): This has a rich and creamy pork broth with a savory umami flavor. It comes with pork chashu, homemade noodles, kikurage mushrooms, beni shoga, scallions, nori, and half a soy egg. This is definitely a must-order if it's your first time! BLACK TONKOTSU (8/10): This has a rich and creamy pork broth with black garlic oil. It comes with pork chashu, homemade noodles, kikurage mushrooms, beni shoga, scallions, nori, garlic chips, and half a soy egg. All the flavors pair well together but the garlic does overpower the pork flavor in the broth (but I think that's to be expected if you're ordering a black garlic tonkotsu). Honestly, there's nothing not to love about Ramen512... from the service to the ingredients to the pricing, it has everything you could want and more. Eventually, I'd love to try everything on the menu because there are so many great options! The interior has counter seating like what you would traditionally see at a ramen shop in Japan as well as tables so it's perfect for enjoying a meal by yourself or with your entire family. I would recommend Ramen512 to anyone in the north Austin area looking for authentic Japanese ramen at a reasonable price!

NO more fried rice-always my grandson's favorite. Although I was disappointed when it was time to order, I chose the Mixed Protein Bun. I requested shrimp and eggrolls. It is a bowl filled with rice noodles, shredded lettuce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, and your choice of protein. It also comes with a generous portion of fish sauce. After one bite, I knew that the old chef must have left. My food was so bland. To start with, I don't think it was salted at all..... which quite often affects the flavors negatively. There were no other spices or sauce or anything tasty in my bowl. I was very disappointed. I didn't even eat a quarter of the Bun. I didn't take the rest to go and I won't be returning, unless I see that they have returned to their former style of cooking. So I'll definitely be watching the reviews. It makes me very sad to have to write a negative review, especially about a place. I have enjoyed so much in the past!!!

Narrow Street 512 serves up Authentic Korean food with a personal touch. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your Aunt's home in Korea. I experienced Narrow Street as a solo diner. My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You can dine solo or go in a big group as there is plenty of seating at the Hmart Food court. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food.
