Tteokbokki half-eaten because I love it!
    Kostas C.

I love the food here so much! I usually get the salmon poke bowl but I tried the tuna this time. Still good but I think that salmon bowl is still the perfect bowl for me. The tteokbokki was a pleasant surprise too and next time I'll try it with cheese. The fries are perfect; not too big, not too small, and gently crunchy outside and soft inside. The buldak fried noodles are excellently spicy and I love that you can add additional things to it! The service is excellent and I think the employees are starting to recognize us. The interior is nice and clean and the bathrooms are pretty clean too. I recommend!

My new go to. Ramen with spicy chicken. The best mix of flavor and spice. I have been going here for lunch once a week since I found them.

I was greeted promptly, and the host tried to seat me even though I mentioned twice that I wanted to place a to go sushi order. I was given a menu, a pencil, and a sushi order form, but the form wasn't very self-explanatory. I tried to get the host's attention to ask a few questions about quantities and how certain items were prepared, but he seemed distracted by other activity in the restaurant. While waiting, about 10 minutes, I noticed the decor was bright, the sushi chefs were neat and clean, and the preparation area looked well maintained. In the end, I took a guess on my order (California roll and lump crab meat) , and once I got home, I realized I made a solid choice. The sushi tasted very fresh (although the crab didn't taste like lump - it was still tasty) which definitely stood out and made the experience better. I ordered enough for lunch that day and still had leftovers for the next. Will I go back? I'm not sure, but I might try again on a different day and dine in.

The second time, I treated myself to breakfast and bought pancakes, scrambled eggs and scrapple. The pancakes were delicious and fluffy. The eggs were simple and very good. The scrapple on the other hand was a bit of a disappointment. Usually scrapple is cut about a half inch thick- the cooks at Hampton cut their scrapple so thin that it's like eating scrapple chips. I was taken aback by the presentation of it. Aside from that very minor issue, the rest of what I had was very good. Fast forward to today, I had the strongest craving for a taco salad! I chose beef with all of the fixings- lettuce, tomato, pico, cheese, black beans, and sour cream. It was all placed inside of a delicious, crunchy, fried bowl shaped tortilla. I rushed home and tore into that bowl like a grizzly bear! It was very delicious. The only very small gripe I had about the meal was the lettuce. Romaine lettuce was used instead of iceberg lettuce. There were a bit of romaine chunks that threw me off, but other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the salad. I forgot to snap a picture, but took a snapshot of my demolished meal. Nothing was left behind. If you're near Hampton for lunch, check them out! The next sandwich I have my eye on is the Rueben. For friendly service, tasty food with pretty decent prices, give Hampton a visit. You'll be sure to find something appetizing!

The only bad thing is that this is literally run by a couple so I'm not sure if they can handle a big order at once. So if you put in a big order, expect to wait a little. They also never reopened dine-in tables since COVID so there is literally just a table and chair and the place is not really much to look at. Take out orders are perfectly fine with me. Unlike other places they don't skimp out on stuff if you order online. They give you the same bowl stuffed with fresh fish and usual ingredients. This certainly get a five star for value. The only reason I gave four stars to this place is I usually only give five stars to something at Michelin levels.

I went in and the man behind the counter was still slicing and preparing everything. The sashimi slices were some of the biggest I've ever seen and it was all very fresh and he gave me miso soup and ginger salad. The sashimi was salmon, tuna and yellowtail. The sushi included a couple pieces of broiled eel and a couple pieces of tako (octopus). I wouldn't say it's a dine-in destination but if you want good sushi/sashimi without anything fancy at a good price, give them a try!

I ordered…read morethe Butter Chicken and was pleasantly surprised by a number of factors: it was decently spicy, it came in a water tight plastic container instead of styrofoam (so no leaky curry to worry about), the generous portion size for the well-below-average-for-Indian-food price, everything was super fresh, it came with a little basic salad that was surprisingly delicious and the service was super fast and friendly. My only contention with the butter chicken was the sweetness, which I suppose was for the masses who can't well-tolerate spicy food. Still, I will definitely be returning.
