I tried to get the host's attention to ask a few questions about quantities and how certain items were prepared, but he seemed distracted by other activity in the restaurant. While waiting, about 10 minutes, I noticed the decor was bright, the sushi chefs were neat and clean, and the preparation area looked well maintained. In the end, I took a guess on my order (California roll and lump crab meat) , and once I got home, I realized I made a solid choice. The sushi tasted very fresh (although the crab didn't taste like lump - it was still tasty) which definitely stood out and made the experience better. I ordered enough for lunch that day and still had leftovers for the next. Will I go back? I'm not sure, but I might try again on a different day and dine in.

The scrapple on the other hand was a bit of a disappointment. Usually scrapple is cut about a half inch thick- the cooks at Hampton cut their scrapple so thin that it's like eating scrapple chips. I was taken aback by the presentation of it. Aside from that very minor issue, the rest of what I had was very good. Fast forward to today, I had the strongest craving for a taco salad! I chose beef with all of the fixings- lettuce, tomato, pico, cheese, black beans, and sour cream. It was all placed inside of a delicious, crunchy, fried bowl shaped tortilla. I rushed home and tore into that bowl like a grizzly bear! It was very delicious. The only very small gripe I had about the meal was the lettuce. Romaine lettuce was used instead of iceberg lettuce. There were a bit of romaine chunks that threw me off, but other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the salad. I forgot to snap a picture, but took a snapshot of my demolished meal. Nothing was left behind. If you're near Hampton for lunch, check them out! The next sandwich I have my eye on is the Rueben.
