They do not have crab crackers, so we could not eat the crab we purchased. They did not let us know of that ahead of time. The crab cake was made with imitation crab, gross for a CRAB joint. The shrimp seafood boil we got was tasty tho, just not worth the money because we couldn't eat the crab when it was hot and fresh. This place was a disappointment. The shrimp is frozen shrimp and tastes rubbery. The sauce is weird and super thick to me. I don't know if it is oil based or butter based, but I was not A fan. We waited for 30min and the food was barely warm. We also came on a Saturday night and apparently they only had one stove burner to use for cooking ALL of their orders. Great service. The food was great. Perfect temp and great flavor. It's small, but booming. Cute I side and felt clean considering they make fish all day! You may have to wait for a seat, but it's worth it. They do need to add some kind of shell crackers for the crab legs. And paper towels would be great. We enjoyed the meal. The food itself was good just wish the shrimp was cooked a little less, and the catfish was a little bigger, what fills you up the most is the fries at the bottom. Holy Cow! A brand Seafood restaurant in El Paso Texas! Veteran owned and operated (whooop whoop!) We were able to be at their grand opening and the food was smelling oooh-soooo-goood! I had the #1 loaded platter. Comes with 3 snow crabs, 17 shrimp, 1 large sausage, 1 ear of corn, 2 eggs and a potatoes. I am so excited to see something new and fresh pop up like a dessert rose. The staff were incredibly patient and informative about all they had to offer. But wait there's more, because this is their first day/week of business they are not % operational with all items on the menu. (Crab station, red lobster, even some finer establishments ) Randomly was driving home today and passed the truck located on Dyer. Man was I pleased for it to be open! You guys you cannot miss out on this mans product! Customer service was excellent, extremely helpful and friendly, not to mention fast. I ordered the $35 couples special , 1 snow crab, shrimp, corn potatoes, and an egg x2 and was able to order one set with honey garlic butter and the other with Cajun butter and man both were amazing, flavor was top notch ! Being avid seafood lovers, we jumped at the chance to try this restaurant and I attended both soft openings and continue to frequent as often as I can. One of a kind southern seafood grab and go spot in El Paso, this place is damn good. No frills, just good food. Not really a dine in type of place due to limited seating and small location. Reasonable prices and quality seafood, boiled/ fried. I ordered the number one loaded boiled plate with fries. The fries took me by surprise because they are Cajun style waffle fries and come with a spicy mayo. The seasoning was on point and actually spicy like I requested. Plenty of butter sauce to go around. Large serving sizes, and overall great quality. The customer service was good, cashier was very attentive and got our food in less than 10 minutes. read more

This was my first seafood boil and was disappointed. the bodies of the crab were small and they were over cooked (meat was mushy and not tender). The egg it came with was very firm, as if it wasn't made today, and all I could taste was vinegar. The sausage was overcooked and did not taste fresh. the potatoes tasted real well, and could at that all day. The shrimp was okay, but tasted like butter. The seasoning I had was spicy Cajun but the overall flavor was butter. Tasted like a spicy butter. They served us the boil in to go containers and no bibs or gloves were given until asked. Divey kinda feel to it with limited seating. Bottle water and canned soda. The amount is good for two people. I was too impressed by the flavor, cajun Spicy but home style. Taste as good as if anyone made it in their kitchen. The amount of potatoes that layered the bottom of the pan was good. The sausage reminded me of a turkey sausage cooked in spice and butter, was the thing that impressed me the most. The crab cakes and catfish had a light breading and very filling. The sauce that came with it paired very well, a thick, creamy, and zesty. The snow crab was good but the meat stuck to the shell. I'm super picky when it comes to seafood boils. Some places just can't get the seasonings right or they overcook the seafood. BUT THIS PLACE HERE!! THIS is what I've been searching for since I left home (Florida). Their portions are nice, they cut up the potatoes for you and the seasoning is everything! (I got the lemon pepper and Cajun spicy.) The crab meat was soft and juicy and the shrimp was amazing. Whew! I can't wait to go back again! The only downside (kind of) is that it's a small place, so seating is minimal. I spent about $54 which is typical for seafood and this is a lot of food, so I'm not upset with how much I spent at all. Being that I'm from Atlanta and there are tons of seafood restaurants to choose from I definitely will say this place stacks up to the ones back home. I ordered my food online and it took about 30min for it to be ready. Upon arriving my food was super hot which is a good thing cuz I didn't have to warm it back up when I got home. All I have to say is this is defiantly on the list of one of the worst places I've been to and I've been to a lot of crab places all around the U.S. There was many reasons to why I didn't like it and that's because of the sauce, it was flavorless but spicy and I love spicy so it being spicy wasn't a problem but it just tasted like flavorless unsalted butter and very oily. Also the crabs taste a little fishy and they were super small it reminded me of the crabs you get from Walmart that's in a box in the frozen section. The potatoes were cook fine usually some places over cook their potatoes and only give you one or maybe 2 if your lucky but here they give you alot but like I said the sauce was so bad it made the potatoes taste bad then the egg tasted almost like a pickled egg which threw me off I wasn't expecting a sour bitter taste and the sausage was fine it was just a regular sausage and the corn was fine to it was just again the sauce that made it taste bad. So ya I just ended up throwing it in the trash after a couple bites. I normally would have just suck it up and ate it anyways but I can't eat a crab unless it has good sauce on it and this one had that fishy taste so it made it even more unbearable to eat and it was over cooked so it kept getting stuck in the shell so I said forget it wasn't even worth cracking. read more

Wow! My wife and I split a shrimp and crab boil (#5 I think) and they allowed us to choose different flavors. Wife went with the honey garlic and I went with the spicy. I was so excited to try this place but sadly today was my second bad experience with them. The first time we tried ordering from them we called to place an order over Easter weekend. We called around noon to place an order for pick up around 5 pm. The business said to call back at 3 pm. At 3 pm we called back and to order for 5 pm. They told us to call at 4 pm. At 4 pm we called and they were sold out for the day. Then today we placed an order for the same special and the employee over the phone told us it "would be ready in 20 minutes". When arriving to pick up the order approximately 35 minutes after the phone call, we were told it would be an additional 30 minutes, and were told this after being charged. My sister went back into the establishment and asked for a refund and the employee stated "its a rough estimate and people who come in get served first". The young employees tone was clearly agitated. An accurate rough estimate would have been an hour not 20 minutes. We would've been Okay coming by to pick up later if we had been quoted that is how long it was going to take. I am an understanding individual, I myself work in a restaurant that gets crazy busy and sometimes unexpectedly. I hate to be the person who leaves a negative review but after two negative experiences and a lack of good customer service from Krab Kingz staff, I just felt it appropriate to leave a review with hopes that they train employees to be respectful to their customers. I understand sometimes things do go according to plan. And just an added note, while dealing with the refund, my sister heard an employee vocally call a paying customer"stupid" out loud when walking away from a transaction. I placed my order over the phone at 1:20 PM and drove from NE El Paso thinking it possibly would be ready upon arrival. I arrive and paid for my meal at 1:51 PM, but was not ready. Is at in my car from the last reference time until 2:45 PM until I decided to go back in and it still was not ready. It was very at home being a woman of the south the food was exceptionally seasoned and well cooked and the looks simply didn't do if justice. The flavor is great but fish platter says fillet however they are actually nuggets. Thought the first time was just a fluke but the second time I ordered it they were even smaller. Wish they were a little bit bigger. If it wasn't for that I'd give them 5 stars. Correction: Strips not fillets, either way they were too small for me and my husband.
