So all week I've had a hankering for shrimp ceviche and well I finally got home Friday after a long work week. I asked my wife if she was game and since she's on a diet and she can eat sea food, off we went. I ordered the Camarones Aguachile while my wife had the fried medium size black bass and we ordered a large shrimp cocktail to share. The waiter first brought us a small cup of fish soup which was very tasty actually and he brought us some chips and salsa and that was very good. My wife tore into that fish and it never stood a chance and my camarones aguachile were delicious. The shrimp cocktail was very good and we will definitely be back baby. read more

Quick meal for lunch close to work. Had the tacos de alambre as all tacos where the lunch special for the day. Alambre always my favorite. Spivey and Delicious. 4 tacos with enough meat for all 4. The green Chile salsa was an added compliment was really tasty and just hot enough. I would add more melted asadero cheese tho. Maybe I'll ask for it next time. read more

Ok, this was my first visit to this location. They also have a location off the freeway near Cielo Vista Mall. Let's start with parking. Today parking wasn't too bad, but during dinner rush I can imagine how hard parking can be! Especially, with the way some El Paso people park. Once you walk in you are seated. The decor isn't much to rave about. Orange and blue flat paint with neon signs of beer and soccer. You also have quite of bit of plastic fish on the wall(not sure if real taxidermist work) Restaurant seemed clean and the service was quick and easy. I ordered a shrimp coctel. The coctel soup (if you want to call it that) was good, had a sweet taste. Surprised, an happy to see they give you a generous amount of shrimp, and didn't taste like frozen shrimp (which I'm sure it wasn't freshly caught lol) I am also glad it didn't have too much onion in it. A few shots of hot sauce and it tastes well. My dad ordered fish tacos. You get 4 of them and they are made with "white fish" he did say they were good, and not overly cooked. The only thing he did not like was the tortillas get really soggy and makes it hard to hold without falling apart. This could be fixed by maybe switching to a thicker brand. Mondays shrimp coctels are 6.99 as are the tacos! I will def go back for a shrimp fix read more

I have been here 3 times because my friends like the ceviche. I give 2 stars because I've gotten sick after eating here twice. My conclusion after trying various items is this: do not order anything except the ceviche (which is mediocre at best). The rest of the menu is insanely overpriced and tastes like cafeteria food. Example: most dishes come with a side of yellow rice and mashed potato which is so stunningly bland and terrible. I ordered the fish tacos once (poorly seasoned and flavorless with tortillas that are basically pulled from a plastic bag and not even grilled) and the bacon wrapped shrimp on another occasion to avoid the fish (they somehow managed to make this disgusting as well). On top of all of this, how does it end up being $25 for 6 bacon wrapped shrimp and one nasty tap watery margarita? I guess the entertainment is what people come here for. The ceviche is decent, but it really isn't anything special! Save yourself the misery and just order a bottled beer and ceviche to be safe! read more

This place has a great selection of seafood and other Mexican style dishes. Service was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. There happened to be some live music the late afternoon I went, which was an added bonus. Plenty of TVs were showing various sports stations. I had the Clamato with dried meat, and it was tasty! I also had the fish tacos which were delicious. Lots of regular choices for kids not into seafood or Mexican. I will definitely be going back. read more

I am a very picky authentic mexican seafood lover, so rest assure that I will not BS you about my review. The first time I saw this place was on a commercial, they pride in their "Clamatos" preparados so I had to try it. Long story short, I have gone there 2 times this week! Their "Clamato Preparado" is OK (If you like red beer, micheladas etc you will like this), I dont know if they add beer to it because I did NOT taste beer in it but its good for the craving. For being a clamato preparado though, it is a bit on the pricey side at almost $7 for a cup. I think its actually worth more like $4 and thats pushing it. I tried their coctel "Campechana" and it is good, just a bit on the small side and it was a large. OK to get to the good stuff.. you MUST try their tostadas de ceviche at about $4 a pop, with 2 of those babys you will get full. They serve them very well and the picture is there to prove it. DELICIOUS! The place itself is very nice, clean and friendly. They even have live music once in a while and its kid friendly.
