Went for lunch today and had been planning it for a couple of days now. It's something I have to save up for so it's a big treat for us. In El Paso, you can't find fresh and good seafood. I love lobster rolls and this one is super stuffed. The service is always slow. I've never had an attentive server but not ridiculously bad. Ambiance is a very "divey" but good amount of tv's and music. I had never tried the garlic noodles because I usually share a boil with my friend.. well I tried them today with shrimp and omg, so good and light. I thought I had taken a picture of the noodles. Ahhhh, it smells delicious just walking in. I'm going to preface that we've lived east and west coast, so getting seafood in the Texas desert is always a questionable choice. Our server was Karina and she brought us little samples of the sauces to try. She knew we were here to celebrate my dad's birthday and she was so attentive and helpful. We started with 6 oysters and calamari. The oysters were delicious with subtle briney flavors enhanced by the lemon and cocktail sauce. We noticed that the calamari had a different cocktail sauce that was more marinara styled. Go with the cocktail sauce, its horseradish kick is perfect. Next we did the Artic with the garlic butter sauce. Yummy, but again - I'm a little purist in liking my seafood to not have to compete with the sauce. The jumbo prawns were our upgrade and they were BIG! Everything was well cooked and the crab legs were perfectly cooked. Dungeness Crab with their medium sauce... absolute must-have! You'll be messy and very garlicky after, but you will not regret this stop and this order. The staff is usually very nice. We usually take our order to-go, but we have eaten at the restaurant before. It's pretty chill, but if you're self-conscious about being messy when you eat crab, opt to take your food home. I did a build your own seafood boil and the potatoes were not worth the over $3 charge. They are basically fingerling potatoes. For their prices, I would expect corn & potatoes to already be included in the 'seafood boils' like other places (I usually order extra sides like rice or sausage since a corn & potato is usually included). It's located in a big plaza about 2.0 miles from the outlets on the West side of El Paso. I've been twice and the customer service has been great and service is quick. The food is flavorful and the seafood is fresh. The shrimps are big and crab legs are a nice size. Not like the skinny crab legs that have nothing in them. However, for the price the portions are not big. One cluster of crab, one potato, one sausage, one corn. They also charge more if you use a debit/credit card. I was not able to add anything by the 1/2 lb. Other than that this place is good and I would go back. read more

The calamari was about the best I have ever had in El Paso, and near the top of anywhere else. The rest of our meal: not so much. Overall I'd say it's good but nothing spectacular. My very expensive lobster roll was meh. I expected much more. My wife had the blackened catfish which was OK but no better than other places around here. My tableware was dirty and had to be replaced. There are many other menu items to try so I'm very willing to give them another chance. There is a Sur-charge for paying by credit card. I believe if you order out they give you the older food buttt if you go in store you the the freshest food. Because OMG the way the crab and shrimp were so DELICIOUS and the shrimp had that perfect texture and taste and don't get me started on the crab it was so tender and sweet it was amazing. Overall: Good food, but not so great service. Ambience/Environment: Very beachy decor. Easy to find place with lots of parking. However, the one place wasn't kept very clean. The table we were seated at wasn't wiped off. We had to steal paper towels from another table. Service: Honestly, it was horrible. We had to ask the table to be wiped down. It took 15 minutes for a server to come and ask for drinks. They came back only to get our order and bring the food. We never got checked on. We had to ask for utensils and paper towels. We never got them. We ended up just taking paper towels from another table. Last, we never got any refills on our drinks. Food: A little over priced in my honest opinion.
