I like their hamster culture (that viral hamster meme) My overall experience wasn't great. My friend that went with me said his drink wasn't what he expected. The customer service was just ok for the both of us. Ambiance was small and weren't anywhere enough to really sit down and relax but more of a take-out spot. I got their Lychee Tea but green tea with light ice but it was just bitter overall with mostly all ice; I couldn't taste any lychee. My friend got their Crème Brûlée coffee and said it tasted nothing how he expected and tasted more like a mocha chocolate. PCH has been known for having a bunch of crackheads randomly around their streets, but nowadays, it has lessen (along with the rate of crime, thankfully!); so what amazing way to celebrate by sprinkling it with some KRAK BOBA !?!? Yay!! The wifey was craving some boba after our Chinese buffet lunch date, so I said F' it and was like "hell yeah, babe! Let's both get some Boba balls in our mouths!". She said she's been craving it at a place nearby called KRAK Boba. At first, people will be confused because there another place with a similar name, but this particular one is a little more super kawaii, to where it feels like you're in a casual Anime upon entering this establishment. I mean damn... you're literally greeted outside by their cool sign with a dope anime drawing on it! For such a little spot, it's actually very spacious and I dig it. Their seating isn't too close/far and they even have a really really nice outdoor patio where you can enjoy your drinks while checking out Pacific Coast Highway and the Palos Verdes hills and homes. Really really nice/chill view and all out vibe. The person who helped us was stunning and extremely helpful with our orders, along with what she would recommend. My wife got her King Brulee with Boba balls. I got what the barista recommended (also because it looks so damn cool to me!) ..which was their COCOthai Butterfly. It consisted of a mix of 2 teas: Thai Tea and Butterfly Tea, with a twang of coconut on top! They layer of colors look and taste so damn good. The drinks are NOT simped or diluted at all like other drink spots! Parking here is FREE and not bad at all, depending on what time you're there. Finally tried this place for first time today. We got the thai tea with boba, and the strawberry matcha. The boba was delicious and great texture. The thai tea was perfectly sweetened. The strawberry matcha sadly missed the mark by a long shot. The strawberry had some sort of perfume taste that was so off putting we had to throw it away. Not sure what artificial stuff they put in there but it left a really bad aftertaste in our mouths. read more

Maui Waui is where it's at. It's this refreshing Pineapple/Banana/Coconut smoothie that is smooth and cool, ready for the Summer. What a delicious drink. I haven't had any bad drinks here. I like the variety of drinks they have and that you can customize the sweetness. The boba is not really sweetened but the texture is good. My go to is usually the milk teas but I love had their dragon fruit drinks or recently the yogurt with peach puree. One of the better Boba places that I have tried in a long time. Was down in the Lomita area and wanted some Boba before driving back up to West LA. Saw that this place had great reviews and can confirm that it is honestly great. Service was very fast and the menu has some great options on it. There's also a large free parking lot attached so parking was really easy. Inside is pretty small so it's more of a to go type of place versus somewhere to sit and eat or drink. For my first visit, I wanted to try one of their most popular items so I went with the King Brûlée. It was honestly great and if you are a caramel fan, you will love this drink. The employee working today seemed annoyed because I initially walked up to the counter instead of using the kiosk to order. I don't usually use the kiosk, but I went ahead and used it anyway simply because the employee said it as if I didn't notice it. Unfortunately, after all that, I received my usual strawberry matcha latte, which normally never disappoints, but this time it was almost entirely matcha paste with little to no strawberry flavor. I'm not saying this is an everyday occurrence, but the experience left a bad impression and this whole scenario felt like it stemmed from me not using the kiosk initially. When customers walk in, they're already aware of the kiosk--they didn't miss it. Most boba shops have kiosks these days, and there isn't much that sets one apart from another besides the drinks, cups, or overall theme. If the expectation is that every customer must order from the kiosk, then it would make more sense to remove the ordering counter altogether and rely solely on the kiosks. Otherwise, customers shouldn't feel like they're inconveniencing the staff by approaching the register. read more

The ambiance of the place is so wonderful, It feels nice to chill around the outdoor seating and lounge around for a bit. The staff are very sweet, helping us and reassuring that our orders go smoothly. I appreciate that they do their work with passion and always ready to help us. I enjoyed the Large Thai tea with crème brûlée. I love the combination of the rich, creamy crème brûlée and the sweet and spiced Thai tea. Establishment was clean, spacious and had seating inside and an outside patio to wait for our drinks. It wasn't too busy and I noticed only one person working. Krak Boba is the highest rated boba shop in Lomita and we decided to visit after lunch for a sweet drink. When I first looked it up, I thought it was an independent shop, but apparently it's a pretty decent sized chain. Interesting I haven't heard of it before given how much boba I drink! Krak Signature Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Light Ice w/ Boba ($6.70) - The tea is well balanced with the creamer and fructose. It's a pretty standard black tea with no particular fragrance or defining characteristic. There honestly isn't much else to say about the drink itself; it's pleasant enough to sip on but nothing special. The boba here is a bit too hard and firm for my tastes. Some of the boba actually sticks together into larger blobs, which is a bit disconcerting. I wonder if they are rotating the boba correctly on schedule. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 For a boba shop rated this highly, I was expecting better. The drink certainly isn't bad and you could do a lot worse. If you're in the plaza or somewhere nearby, Krak Boba is a good choice, but if you're willing to drive a bit, there are probably better options. Parking was a nightmare. I came on grand opening weekend right after lunch (around the time people would get their desserts), and there's only one row of outdoor parking at the plaza. There's also underground parking, but it's very limited and tight. I had to park 1 block away as the nearest street parking was also very full. I saw people parked at areas where they shouldn't be parked with their emergency lights on. This visit was definitely an adventure, but I managed! Tea strength was on point, though a little watered down. Boba was also alright, but the serving was small for the surcharge of $0.85. Service was fast. They managed to get my order done in less than 10 minutes while handling large orders (5 or more). They definitely have a way to tackle these orders efficiently, nice! Another unique thing about this place is that they have outdoor seating (with a view of PCH), so you get to enjoy the drink with a nice summer breeze! I'll have to come back for the other drinks, but I might try another location (where access and parking is a little easier).
