Krak Boba was right next to a restaurant I had just eaten at, so I decided to stop by and grab a drink. The shop itself is really nice, with a good amount of seating if you want to hang out, and there's tons of parking, which is always a plus. I ended up getting the lychee tea at 50% sweetness. I normally order my drinks at 50%, but this one was still overly sweet for me. The sweetness also overpowered the tea quite a bit, so you don't really get much of that actual tea flavor. Overall, I'd give Krak Boba a 4/5. I still enjoyed the drink, but I think the sweetness level needs some adjusting. Not sure if they have ac, but every time I visit, it's always warm inside. I visited around the afternoon, and it wasn't too busy but there was consistent foot traffic. Service: You can either place an order at the kiosk or at the register. Majority of customers placed their orders through the kiosk. Throughput was quick after order. Drinks: My go-to is usually the Seaside Green Thai Tea, but this time I got the Jasmine Milk Tea. I always get crystal boba from Krak bc they're pretty consistent with its texture and flavor. Their milk teas are also really good, their fruit teas are fresh, and their coffees are strong. Make sure you shake your cup well if you add cold foam. Their cups have a plastic seal. It was the end of the night and I wanted a lighter drink with no sugar. There aren't many options as most come already sweetened, but I settled for the matcha milk tea. I can tell when the drink came out that it will be a very light matcha taste considering the color was very light. Oh well, not a winner. However they have an extensive drink menu and maybe I'll come back and try something else. I also ordered the mochi waffle. It was not a looker, presented in a plain white bag and looking a bit uneven, but unexpectedly pretty good and as advertised. It was crunchy on the outside and mochi chewy on the inside. Winner! Honestly, I was pretty disappointed in this place. We went to another location in Westminster a couple of days ago and that place was so good! We decided to try this one and told my family to come with us because the other location was so amazing. Unfortunately, I regret coming to this location. We ordered 6 drinks, 2 dragon slayers, 2 tango mangos, 1 strawberry milk tea with oat milk and 1 brown sugar milk tea. We ordered and asked if the strawberry milk tea could be split into 2 for my kids. They told us they could not accommodate that. The other location did it no problem.. we ended up just getting 2 cups which we had to fight for.. The drinks were overall okay. However, the strawberry milk tea with the subsititued milk for oat milk was not good at all.. my kids didnt drink any of it.. we ordered this same drink at the other location and the kids loved that one. This one was not the same.. I could really taste the oat milk in the drink which I didn't taste at the other location.. My wife forgot to order her drink with oat milk instead of regular milk because she has a dairy allergy. So I took it over to the counter and asked if I can get it remade with the oat milk. They told me no, and that we would need to order another drink to get it with oat milk.. really??? That is unacceptable.. I gave my drink to my wife and I took hers.
