I would say that the workers who helped me on my first visit were very nice. An employee made samples on the spot to help me figure out what I wanted. Most boba places would not do this. I came in craving for milk tea boba but when I looked at the menu I didn't know what to get. It was also my first time so I dont know how their drinks taste. Although I asked for a sample of milk tea, the employee made jasmine milk tea instead. I then told her I would get their special sunset tea and I guess she thought I asked for a sample and went to make it. I corrected myself that I was ordering that but she went ahead and made me a sample any way, which I appreciate. My drink was refreshing and I enjoyed the jasmine tea aroma. I did tip them for the hospitality. This might be a good spot if youre in the area for some refreshing fruit tea. read more

This used to be a chain boba spot that sometime recently was converted into Bloom & Brew. The menu items are mostly the same. I have been here a couple times; they recently removed their claw games/machines in favor of more seating. They still have a couple table top games to play. When I have come here, it is usually empty and quiet. The lady working today was very nice. I ordered a thai tea with boba; their boba is an orange color instead of the usual black/dark brown. It is soft and bouncy as it should be. Good boba! The thai tea was fine; not strong but also not too sweet. I did not feel like I needed to reduce the sweetness. It's a cute small business which I am always happy to support, but there are many boba shops around which floods the market a bit, and this one was a little pricier than some I have been to, with my drink coming to around $8. I will come back when I am in the area but would not make a special trip for it. I think having a *large chain bakery/milk tea spot* across the street isn't helping, unfortunately. Cute, little new tea and coffee shop. I thought it would be more coffee based, but had more milk teas/boba-like flavors than coffee. Regardless, I love to try jasmine milk teas for all of the boba stores I visit, so I got that and it was pretty good! Not too sweet or tea-forward. My boyfriend got the house special coffee and it was a pretty solid Vietnamese coffee. Service was great! We got our drinks in great time. Thinking that this was a ding tea establishment it was once it is no longer that place. However the tea that is on the menu and the drinks that are on the menu seem to be the same. The friendly Service at the cashier and tea maker is still great and friendly as well. One had an order than usual as part of my commute back home and the drinks was awesome. On a long route I usually order a coffee tea Boba, but on this particular route, I ordered my usual Hokkaido milk tea with Boba The seating is inside is the usual 3 to 4 tables with 3 to 4 chairs and a few stools. Now they have a casing for selling Pokémon stuff as well as a casing for selling Labubu stuff. I'll definitely return to try the other drinks, even though this is no longer a Ding Tea establishment I believe Bloom and Brew will be the next big trend. read more

We were really looking forward to trying this new boba place next to our house but we were very disappointed. We went on a Saturday around 2pm, no one there other than us. There might have been a large online order because the employee was making lots drinks and someone came in after we ordered. We ordered a Matcha Milk Tea, 50% sweetness with light ice and Pandan green milk tea 75% sweetness with light ice from their summer menu. The drinks were honestly the worst drinks we have ever had and we go to a lot of boba shops. The pandan green milk tea was basically non-dairy milk tea with no sweetness nor pandan taste. The matcha milk tea was made up of a small amount of the cheapest powder mix and the rest non-dairy milk. Also there were still chunks of the matcha powder at the bottom. I really wanted to love this place, or at the bare minimum like it. It's walking distance from my place and I would love to have a go to boba place to just walk to. But it disappoints every time. Ordered the Jasmine milk tea most recently and it didn't taste like anything- not like tea and most definitely not like jasmine tea. Plus it's always so warm in there. The interior is cool with its all-black decor. You'll find seating at several small tables and a counter at the window. The young woman who took my order was soft spoken and cordial. I got my usual order of a Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea with boba. The drink was perfectly made at the exact sweetness level I like. The boba must have just been made as those soft, little squishy guys were a delight to my tongue. This is one of my more favorite Ding Tea locations I've visited. read more

The matcha was not very strong so if you want a heavy taste of matcha this might be a bit light. The foam was not thick but a very light texture. *update: I am glad the store reached out to me and let me know they had some problems with the power box...so they had to open the store late. I don't know if they are short staff or what...we tried to get some tea around 11 and found out that they won't open till 4pm Friday and Saturday... As I said, I've been going here so I didn't feel the need to do my due diligence of trying my drink before heading home all the way to Thousand Oaks. To cut the story short, I took 2 sips, and that's it for me. It tasted horrible. What a waste of a large drink. Whoever made the drink forgot ingredients.
