This many years later of existing and they still have a line, they kept up the quality of their drinks. They're special because of their creamomos which reminds me of a milk tea + creamy milkshake. Our favorites are: Oreo brûlée with matcha milk tea Camo Thai Taro paste with fresh milk Mango tornado They're all strong and taste really good with the occasional sweet cream. Boba with perfect amount of chew. Go for the regular ice, the Less ice makes it so some of it tastes room temp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No space to sit inside with your drink but there's plenty of seating outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Line and service moves fast so don't be intimidated to try it!
Sooo saddd the seasonal Pineapple Alice is gone..you don't even know!!! I'm legit crying inside, cuz I was seriously addicted to that drink..so when I stopped by today & found out, I had to find another yummy substitute. *sigh & tear* I was in a fruity & refreshing mood, so I opt'd to finally try the strawberry tornado fruit tea. I've been so hesitant in the past, cuz I didn't know how'd I feel about the cheese foam, but shockingly..to my surprise. I LOVED IT! Not the same Pineapple Alice LOVE, but it will do, for days I'm leaning more fruity than matcha. The blended smoothie made of fresh strawberries is sooo refreshing and being swirled w/ their cheese foam and strawberry bits, it somehow just all works & balances. I get 80% sugar level, which is perfect and not overly sweet, since it is a smoothie and the blended ice will already water-down the sweetness. Just trust. Heads up, it's a non-caffeinated drink, but does contain dairy, for those who are lactose-intolerant..be warned. Lol A total RxFoodie recommend & must-try!!!
We came on a Friday afternoon and the line was out the door. It was about a 45 minute wait until we got to order, and the drinks came out a lot faster (less than 10 minutes). We got the Strawberry Fruit Yakult and Omomo Matcha. They were good, but I wouldn't wait for up to an hour for them again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store is also pretty small with limited seating, especially if it's a busy day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff were friendly and helpful!
It's summer and I love me a watermelon green tea. There's always ALWAYS a line and parking is usually a pain because it shares a lot with Trader Joe's, but we went on Friday night around 8pm and it was surprisingly faster than I expected? Most of the time I end up ordering a 2nd drink (the osmanthus fresh tea) to make the wait more worth my while... which is honestly kind of a win for me.[[HIGHLIGHT]] Also, love the outdoor seating options for yappy hour when I'm not solo[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].
Refreshing summer blended boba drink. It was busyyy though. Ordered: - Avocado Smash - I got this one a year ago at another location and it was very good. Highly recommend if you like avocado. - Strawberry Tornado - This was also good, but I think if I had to pick one I like avocado one more. - Mango Tornado - This one was quite tart. My cousins, who frequently go here, told me the strawberry and mango can sometimes be tart based on the season, location, etc. However avocado is pretty consistent.
Wow, I found my favorite boba tea spot in SoCal and this is it! I'm so excited and happy because OMOMO is everything I want in a boba store. Can you come up to NorCal please? High grade ingredients, attention to detail, flavor balance, perfect boba, and fresh fruits. They also carry my favorite tea period, gyokuro, and have pretty low prices for an artisanal effort. Please, I want to make another trip to the OC for OMOMO. I even like it way more than my favorites in NorCal - so for me, this is the best boba tea in all of California. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was poppin' even an hour within closing time on a weekday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the cozy, natural, and dull green aesthetics too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They seem to rotate new seasonal flavors so are worth visiting every now and then if you like trying new things. They also have coffee on the menu. - Uji Green Milk Tea with brown sugar boba The brown sugar boba made my eyes light up because it was gooey and flavorful, and reminded me of a favorite boba place that closed down in NA years ago. It went great with the blend of matcha and jasmine, and the tea was strong. Subtly creamy, light jasmine tea, and a bit of matcha earthiness. It made for a fantastic dessert, and was perfect at 50% sweet. - Ruby and Gold with agar boba This is a seasonal blend of pineapple, grapefruit, and magnolia tea. The fruit juices and pulp are super fresh, and it was an amazing morning drink, especially with the bouncy agar boba, which were uneven in shape yet still very easy to get through the straw. At 30% sweet, it was astringent, bitter, and tart enough to delight my tastebuds - I could have this every morning, as it tasted like a mature OJ substitute. If you need a bag, they'll give you a very premium insulated one to-go! Literally everything was perfect, and I can't wait to overindulge in OMOMO next time I visit the area.
We were waiting for our Yelp Waitlist for SUP when we were craving some drinks! We ordered their black jade milk tea and their magnolia lime tea. Their black jade milk tea was pretty good! It wasn't too sweet but very savory and worked well with their almond milk. We bought a couple drinks to take home with us and it was definitely worth the trip!
Finally got to try OMOMO after hearing about it since my college days. There was already a line snaking out from the door but thankfully about a 15 min wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is limited bench seating inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restroom was closed to the public.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried the omomo matcha ($6.95) since that's what was recommended. I got 30% sweet and it was just right. The matcha taste hit with some sweetness and bitterness. The cup size is good for this price.
This place is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside had a couple tables while the inside of the store just had benches.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was easy and quick to order. The drinks were SO good! Wish I could have ordered more. The ones with crème brûlée are on the sweeter side so I would recommend going with less sweetness.
The line here is LONG, but it does go by somewhat quickly. Once we ordered we got our drinks in a decent time. They also have the menu QR code outside so that you can look at their menu as you wait. I had the watermelon & jasmine tea with aloe vera and lychee jelly. It was fun and tasted like restroom spray (but in like the good way if you know what I mean). One thing I appreciated is that they have a dairy mark on the drinks that have dairy. This makes it super easy for me to order. Overall, I probably wouldn't wait in line again for the drinks here!
i LOVE omomo like actually my fav boba place ever. their milk teas r so refreshing and light and perfectly sweet and their boba is delicious texture. they also have a good variety of menu options. the vibe is very cute and trendy and the service can take a while cuz it's usually so busy but it's ok.

This spot is one of my favorite boba spots that I regularly come back to whenever I'm in the Irvine area. The boba drinks here are just so good and of such great quality! In this most recent visit, I got the Mango Tornado and it was delicious. This was made using sweet Asian mangoes and they were in season (Summer). The drink was creamy, flavorful, and refreshing. I've never had a bad drink here. The line can get pretty long throughout the day, but the wait is worth it. I'd say the wait time is generally between 20-30 minutes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There aren't really places inside to sit other than waiting for your order, but there are a good amount of tables and chairs outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For parking, it's a free lot in front with a good amount of spots. read more

Honestly I dont really get the hype? Got the peach creamomo, the matcha drink and the mango tornado. They were good, but I'm not sure it was worth standing 20min in line and waiting another 10min for my drinks. I think this spot is worth visiting if there's no lines, but I definitely wouldn't wait more than 10min for a drink here. read more

We came once it opened and there was a short line forming already. If you like fruity flavored teas, this place may fit the bill for you. They also have summer seasonal options. My girls enjoy the itchy peachy drink; hubs got the Ceylon milk tea (at the cashier's recommendation) but it was meh - nothing special to it; felt that you can get this anywhere else. customer service was kinda confusing. They were calling out by numbers...or by name, so you had to pay attention to that. Bc there's no pager system, you had to wait inside...the lack of seating inside made ppl stand alongside the walls while waiting for their drinks and it can get really crowded at times. don't understand the hype - maybe we ordered the "wrong" drink, but this place didn't stand out for us read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is not as busy as the San Diego one, and it tastes exactly the same![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's in a plaza and it has outdoor seating which is nice, especially on sunny days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My go-to drink is their signature drink, the Omomo Matcha. It was soooo good! This is definitely a must-try! It had a strong (in a good way) matcha flavor that was perfectly balanced with the sweet crème. 1000/10 you need to get this!! read more
OMOMO Tea is a SoCal centered boba shop, offering aesthetic tea, milk tea, and fruit based drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is my second time frequenting this location, and there is always a line due to its popularity.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered their four seasons lime (4/5) and my partner had the mango fruit tornado (5/5), both at 50% sweetness. The bitterness of the lime rind and tea was a bit much for me, so perhaps I would do 75% sweetness next time for the four seasons. I really liked the mango fruit tornado because there was refreshing fruit chunks, in a milky slush blend. OMOMO definitely has delicious drinks; would love to come back and try their milk teas or matcha ones! read more
I still love the drinks from Omomo even though I never come when I see a line. I just don't think any drink is worth waiting in such a long line for. Luckily, I scored an opening when there was no line and I couldn't resist but to stop in and buy three drinks for myself. I love their Oolong Milk Tea ($5.50), Grapefruit Smash ($6.85), and Super Lemon Black Tea ($5.75). During summer, I love getting their Itchy Peachy. Honestly, nothing to complain and only good things to day as Omomo still holds a high place in my heart when it comes to boba shops. read more

been coming here for years and has never disappointed me. the milk teas and oreo brulee drinks are one of my favorites. service has always been the same, lines are usually long with a wait of around 10 or more minutes. usually drinks come out in around 10 minutes as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place is a bit small with limited seating with the amount of people who come.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] overall, one of my favorite spots to go to. read more

10/10 Boba Place! I always make an effort to come to Omomo when the Irvine area because, yes, its that good. This place almost ALWAYS has a line, but I would say it is absolutely worth it. Their bobaristas have always been really nice. I've only had my drink messed up once and the server had no problems remaking it for me. Inside the shop is super cute but remember, its always crowded. Theres alot of people talking and waiting for their drink so I wouldn't recommend counting on staying inside to have a chat with friends. However, there is alot of seating outside the shop! Their seasonal drinks have always been creative and flavorful, one of my favorite being a banana, chocolate creamomo (please bring it back!!) but their jasmine creamomo is also a classic. If you are in the Irvine area, absolutely make the effort to try Omomo! read more

I've tried Omomo once before (someone had driven me back an Oreo Matcha all the way from Chino Hills to the San Fernando Valley!) and it was really good. They're well known for their Matcha and I think it's well deserved praise for their specials. I was pretty excited to see that I'd be able to get to have Omomo again on our little weekend trip to San Diego. They were unfortunately out of their taro paste which I really wanted to try. I did get excited to see the Ube menu they were advertising. I got the Ubae with coffee jelly and was honestly pretty disappointed. While it tasted good, it was really a muted taro flavor. I grew up with my mom making ube jam from scratch in the philippines so I do kind of feel like I keep setting myself up for disappointment lol but it was yummy. I just wouldn't call this ube. The picture they had on the ube advertisement also wasn't ube, it was a purple japanese yam lol so again, should've known better. The super lemon oolong was also good. They aren't lying when they say super lemon! It's truly super lemon forward. I'd stick to the specials next time, and would probably steer clear of the ube flavors if it ever comes out of limited edition status. Interiors are cute although they really could add a few wall seats or something. There's a huge open space inside and just a line out the door which doesn't make it very inviting, but they're probably still workshopping their space. read more
Omomo is our go to!!! Not only because of its popularity but it is really good quality and their Bobba are the best out of all! The staff were really friendly and kind! The ambiance of the place is okay and there's always lots of people which makes it a little bit harder for you to get your drink meaning more wait time but it is worth the wait for a drink expect to atleast wait 10mins! I recommend this place for you to try and you won't be let down! You just have to be really patient! read more

Visited for the first time and was warned that especially on the weekend, there will always be a line. This ended up being the case, and I waited for about 30 minutes to order and approximately 10 minutes for my order of 5 drinks to be ready - definitely not a casual pick-up on-the-go kind of spot. I ordered the: - camo thai: - mango tornado: - creamomo ceylon milk tea with tiramisu: a royal black tea with an earl grey essence - creamomo ceylon milk tea with cheese foam + brown sugar boba - ube black jade milk tea + brown sugar boba: a classic blck tea wiht a bold and smooth taste with ube lining the cup Including tax and tip, I spent $40 even. I even got a reusable bag that costs $1! The only drink I personally tried was the creamomo ceylon milk tea with cheese foam + brown sugar boba. As per my usual boba-drinking procedure, I mixed the cheese foam thoroughly with the milk tea prior to trying the milk tea on its own. As expected, I LOVED MY DRINK! The ceylon's fragrant (but not too fragrant) flavor came through but perfectly mixed with the milk, cheese foam, and brown sugar boba. Despite the line, I would definitely come back to order my same drink, but I was also interested in others including the creamomo black jade milk tea! Side note: as of yesterday when I visited, there is no bathroom available. This place has such long lines all the time - I finally managed to go when it wasn't too busy. The cream based drinks are really rich, but their teas are strong and the matcha is solid. Aside from the yakult and matcha base drinks, one of my favorites is the seasonal itchy peachy drink! read more
The drink itself was good, but 80% sweetness was noticeably too sweet for me. I'd recommend going closer to 50%, especially if you're adding cheese foam. The shop is very small with minimal seating, so it's really just a place to wait for your drink rather than hang out. They used to offer online ordering for pickup about a year ago, but that option is no longer available, which makes ordering less convenient--especially given how consistently busy they are. I'd still order again for the quality, but a nearby location (Westminster or Huntington Beach) and the return of online ordering would significantly improve the overall experience. read more
The line was a bit longer than usual (but there's always a line). it took us 44 minutes from when I first got in mine to when I got my drink and we paid about $14/$15 for both drinks. We got the grapefruit smash and the UBae (seasonal drink). Grapefruit smash is a reg drink we get all the time. Always consistent! The UBae was ok comes with coffee jelly inside. I like the coffee jelly but I would prob try something new next time. read more
You can't really go wrong with OMOMO lol. I think some drinks are a hit or miss, but I would rank it a lot higher overall. Their matchas are a bit on the sweeter side, but it's definitely suited to my taste. I personally love their slushies. You cannot go wrong with their matcha omomo or fruit slushes and I love that about them. Here's what I got that night: Wicked (Ube&Matcha) [5/10]: the ube doesn't really mix with the matcha and you get clumps of ube as you continue to sip it. Grapefruit tea [3/10]: I personally am not a fan of grapefruit but my friends seems to like it Watermelon tea [6/10]: it tastes like watermelons in a tea ... idk pretty generic in the name The service itself is really great. Even though there's always a long line, they will try to hurry through it as fast as possible. It's really cozy and a bit small inside. There's definitely not enough seatings areas for the amount of customers, but the area is filled with tables and chairs outside for you to mingle and catch up! read more

First time at OMOMO. Finally got to try this place after seeing so many posts & reels on Instagram. There was a small line inside. Waited about 10 mins for my drink. I ordered the Omomo Matcha & I got it 50% sweet. It's a delicious matcha blended drink with that swirly goodness. The matcha flavor was balanced very well with the sweet creme. Apparently the only (S-tier) Tea shop in Irvine with a crazy line. At the moment, online ordering isn't available; however, I was told it used to be. Hopefully they bring it back soon and implement in-app ordering to eliminate slow queues. Tbh I'm glad it was raining the day I went here! It made the lines shorter than other days. Obviously, when I come here, I have to get the Omomo Matcha. It's a delicious matcha blended drink with that swirly goodness in the cup! The sweetness was 50% and perfect for me. Personally, if it gets lower than 50%, the matcha starts tasting bitter to me. This is one of my favorite places to stop by in SoCal! I can't seem to find a place in the Bay Area that can make a blended matcha drink like this one. read more
It's the OG boba shop in Irvine for a reason! Their specials and their cream/tiramisu foam top are divine. Boba also tastes fresh and chewy. I ordered the Ceylon black tea with half sugar, less ice, and tiramisu foam top. 10/10 would come back again!! read more

I ordered the matcha drink at 30% sugar level and it was on point - smooth, well - balanced, no grainy texture you sometimes get from matcha powder. However, the strawberry Yakut tastes a bit blend in comparison and could use a stronger flavor. The line tends to be constantly long, and as far as I can tell, there isn't option to order ahead, which makes the wait feel even longer. read more

Does the house milk contain non-dairy creamer? I am trying to avoid non-dairy creamer in my diet
They use dairy milk. They do have oat milk as an alternative. This I know for sure bc I'm severely lactose intolerant.
I haven't been here for a few years, do people still line up for this place, is there a long wait?
Yes, especially in the afternoon and on weekends
Are all drinks offered in just one size? How many ounces are the size options?
All only one size; ~20 oz
Are the milk teas made with fresh milk or nondairy creamer?
Their milk tea has lactose free options such as almond and oat milk. Their cheese foam are made with milk based. They do not have soy milk. Their milk teas you can substitute for any nondairy.
Do you have gift cards available?
Yes, gift cards are available at all locations.
Are there disabled parking spots in front of the shop?
not directly in front, but the parking lot does have accessible spots near the front of the lot if I remember correctly
Have the store hours changed? I drove 30 min to get here on Sunday 3/13 at 7:30pm and the store was already closed. Yelp said hours closed at 8pm.
We have 2 locations, Alton Square located on ALTON and Jeffery closed Saturday and Sunday at 5 pm. Weekdays open 12-8 pm currently.…
I tried the tiramisu foam from OMOMO for the first time and loved it!!! What is it made of? Is OMOMO the original creator or tiramisu foam? (I've had sea foam and cheese foam but this is the first time I've heard of Tiramisu foam).
Hi, Thanks for your love. Both foams are made in house.
What are their non-caffeinated drinks?
fruit yakult or cocoa latte if you look at the menu look for drinks that have the grey circle next to them. They symbol non caffeine
Are you open? I've stopped by the last two weekends and the store is closed
Is online ordering available this weekend?
We are only taking WALK IN order since 9/8.
Are there options for non dairy milk?
Yes, almond and oat milk($0.50 to upgrade).
