I won't even give them a single star ,but can't submit this without a rating. Where to begin.....I was told a 3-4 day completion. It was 10 days. They also old me 3 different times that it would be ready tomorrow, only to be told each time it would not be ready, and having arranged for someone to take time off work to take me to pick up my truck. I had left SPECIFIC, hand written instructions as to a few things I wanted done which were not done. On the day of the pick up, after driving 30 miles to my ride's house, I was called and told they had lost my keys!!!! Back I go to get the spare set of keys and back 30 miles and then another 20 miles to pick the truck up. On my way there I get a call saying that they found my keys and that they had fallen behind the dash........once there, upon inspection I noticed that the dash had been torn apart and was broken in a couple of different places. Furthermore, the fan, radio, and rear view camera were no longer working. I asked the installer about this, and he told me they did not enter the truck at all and it must be a loose wire. How the heck did you find my keys behind the dash if you didn't enter the truck? The design team did a truly wonderful job, but the workmanship was shoddy at best. I called the manager about this and was offered a $200.00 discount. That does not even come close to the cost of repairs, not to mention the time and gas money. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. They are liars. They tell you what you want to hear to get your business. Shame on you Bob!!!!! read more

So I needed a van wrapped for my business, I did my research and Kranken looks the best way to get it done. Bob explained what they can do and why they're much better than others. After 15 mins we closed on price then Jonathan (the master designer)‍ worked on it with me. Jonathan was very professional and knew exactly what I needed! Small business owner's BEWARE! Especially if you are BROWN. Their signage attracted to me to go inside. Everyone seamed friendly & professional until they got my money. I paid in full for my vehicle wrap and business cards. A week later Johnathan doesn't know what Bob said he would do? Maybe it was the additional $100, Bob charged me? Both men work at the same location yet gave me two different prices for the same job. When I requested a refund for the difference, that's when Bob refused to work on vehicle wrap. I won't assume why but Bob charging me additional $100 isn't FAIR business practices. After he got upset and refused to do the work only confirmed this place WILL charge BROWN folk more for the same job they charge others. As for the business cards.... They cost me more and the quality is poor. I asked Johnathan about the color quality all he would say , "I wanted a different card and I approved it. He has my old card and can see for himself that is wasn't the same yet ordered this crap. I believe in supporting local businesses but Kranken Signs Pineville has sent me back to the internet for my business needs. read more

Found a cool place in Charlotte that does vehicle wraps. Saw an amazing replica of the Scooby-Doo Van and learned that Kranken Signs did the vehicle wrap....unbelievable work. Very poor business ethics. Contact Kranken signs to do a vehicle @ Charlotte location. Initially dealt with Bob. At one point they were anxious to do job, then I suppose got busy and hard to reach. Bob transferred job to Clifford Smith, who I come to shockingly find out is owner. Cliff would constantly talk over me, apparantly never hearing what I try to say, paper work in transfer " misplaced". Job quoted at $1000 jumps to $1600. Cliff increasingly hard to deal with as convos go on. Demands we fax in credit card info which we say we are uncomfortable with, but give to over the phone. In the end, demand CC info to be sent, then cancels on us 4 days prior to school event vehicle is to be at. Ask to speak to his boss and find out its him. Astonished to be called "irratating". Call Bob, who straightens out, but then later Owner once again cancels. read more

You should review there business policies regarding refunds. They do not offer refunds after you have paid for any service regardless of what may occur. Stay away...several other sign shops in town that do allow refunds and will work with you on your situation if something may arrise unexpected . This place has shady business ethics read more

As a part of a promotion, My Freedom Smokes, Inc. contracted Franken Signs to do a car wrap. We paid 1/2 of their total quote up front, the rest to be paid at time of delivery. When they couldn't produce an acceptable wrap, we graciously offered to pay them for their time and effort. We asked that they return the money paid, minus a reasonable fee. The owner of the company rudely let us know we wouldn't be getting any money back. Our contract did not mention any non-refundable deposit. Additionally, they contracted out for the graphics designer instead of an in-house employee, as they represented to us when we hired them. For three + weeks we went back and forth, trying to get an acceptable graphic for the wrap. They NEVER produced a complete design during that time. Time being an issue, we had to contract another Graphics firm to do the sweepstakes car wrap. Incidentally, the delay caused our sweepstakes giveaway promotion to be run, for more than half the duration of the contest, without any visual display of the prize!
