That's because Bert's offers you New York-style pizza, Italian cuisine, AND Mexican cuisine. Yup, you can get all of that and more here. 1) Pizza with pepperoni, clams, sausage, meatball, ham, pineapple, chicken, and any vegetable you can imagine. 2) Ziti, Spaghetti, Linguine, Lasagna, Ravioli, Parmigianas, Calzones, Grinders, etc. 3) Tacos, Burritos, Quesdadillas, nachos Add in sandwiches, wraps, salads, appetizers, paninis, and this little unassuming neighborhood pizza joint seems more like a New Jersey diner. Bert's doesn't look like much from the outside, and is even less impressive on the inside, but as we've heard a zillion times looks can be deceiving. I picked up four pizza slices -two pepperoni and two sausage and peppers. We enjoyed the pizza a lot - plenty of cheese and toppings with a very good sauce. I'd say the crust was more medium than thin, but overall, my slices were very good. With that impressive menu and that very good pizza, I'd say Bert sure knows what its doing.

They're not overly oily and they're definitely filling. This is the only place I get them at this point because they're consistently deliiiiicious. Just kept ignoring me while they occasionally glanced over pretending not to see me. There were 3 other people on the meat area where they cut it up. 2 lounging against the door frames and one who appeared to be cleaning everything while the other 2 looked on. Teamwork at its finest. They also saw me and ignored me as well. After a while I asked if there was anyone not busy standing around who could just hand me my order. The guy who was pretending not to see me came over. No apology or thank you. Nothing. Not a word. The cashiers and front end staff are consistently great. Very welcoming and friendly. This was the first time I went in on a Saturday. Not typical of the service I get. I paid 346.00 for my order. Will never go back on a Saturday again. I think your cashiers should probably teach Customer Service skills to your back room. I left there totally irritated.

The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. They also sell a $14 rice bowl and a few sides - churros, popcorn chicken, fried onion petals, and chips with salsa. We ordered a shredded chicken, beef and shrimp taco. First of all, they weren't skimpy portions- they were pretty decent for the price. I saw in a prior review that someone was unhappy about the two shrimp they received in their taco.  All I can say is that my shrimp taco most definitely had more than two shrimp in it. Service was super fast and pleasant and I would most definitely buy from them again.
