Yup, you can get all of that and more here. 1) Pizza with pepperoni, clams, sausage, meatball, ham, pineapple, chicken, and any vegetable you can imagine. 2) Ziti, Spaghetti, Linguine, Lasagna, Ravioli, Parmigianas, Calzones, Grinders, etc. 3) Tacos, Burritos, Quesdadillas, nachos Add in sandwiches, wraps, salads, appetizers, paninis, and this little unassuming neighborhood pizza joint seems more like a New Jersey diner. Bert's doesn't look like much from the outside, and is even less impressive on the inside, but as we've heard a zillion times looks can be deceiving. I picked up four pizza slices -two pepperoni and two sausage and peppers. We enjoyed the pizza a lot - plenty of cheese and toppings with a very good sauce. I'd say the crust was more medium than thin, but overall, my slices were very good. With that impressive menu and that very good pizza, I'd say Bert sure knows what its doing. read more

This review is about their takeout and birria tacos. OMG. The birria tacos here are amazing. The meat is tender and piled up in each one, the consume is flavorful, and the limes are juicy. They're not overly oily and they're definitely filling. This is the only place I get them at this point because they're consistently deliiiiicious. Toppings were sparse and delivery was left on porch even though hand delivery was requested. They used to handle their own deliveries which was great; now using out sourced big name delivery apps. Since I wrote my review of Bert's I've got to tell you, I've ordered more and more things off of the menu and there is nary a clunker. Many pizzas have been ordered and eaten. There are 32 (count 'em) specialty pizzas on the menu and they're accommodating if you want to say, get half of the cheesy piggy and half Genovese, you sure can. My neighborhood Facebook take out page also encourages me to try their Mexican food (I know, I'm baffled that they have Mexican food too). I haven't branched that far out but I'm sure I will soon. Last week we got some huge meals (each was enough for 3-4 meals). My wife got chicken parm and I got the Italian sampler, which weighed about 6 lbs! Fresh salads and bread came with it and one more praise I can sing about Berts, they deliver. They use their own staff to deliver and you can order online. Get some. read more

Its one of those hole in the walls, pretty much a take out place. Got a chicken caesar wrap and some fried dough. Fried dough was large but wasnt puffy, and the sauce was a tad too peppery. The chicken caesar wrap wasnt a wrap at all. Normally a caesar wrap is a caesar salad rolled in a torilla of sorts, this was a panini. Cut in half, it was some kind of grilled spicy chicken with possibly some lettuce in there, and pressed in a panini press. Had the grill lines. For sure not a caesar salad in a wrap. I thought it was the wrong order, hell...maybe it was. Sooo...a double flop. Dont see myself going back. Friendly crew anyway. read more

2x the pizza was dropped. They had to remake it. They forgot the bacon on a grinder, a hamburger, 2 orders of bacon cheese fries. Delivery past the 45 minutes. All of these mistakes were 5 different orders. The food tastes good but getting the food to the client is a huge problem. Before the bacon cheese fries orders, they gave me 20% discount which I didn't use yet. called about them and didn't get any credit for the no bacon. So not ordering from them again. Gave them multiple opportunities and the fact that they didn't give me credit for the bacon did it for me. read more

I have eaten a lot of pizza over the years. I have eaten a lot of pizza in West Hartford. I ate at Savoy last night.... but Julianna's is sooooo good. Classic style pizza with the chewy/crispy crust you want to eat. I got a vodka sauce pizza with ravioli the first night and then shortly after came back to try their cheesy piggy. Mind blown! The owner Alberto is also a great dude, open to suggestions which is really cool. This pizza place easily makes the top 3 in town regardless of pizza style. Also I got fries tonight and they were so crispy but had enough mash potato heft. I will definitely be getting these fries again. Can't wait to try the taco pizza, and the burger pizza, and all the pizzas! Also my dog seriously wants some pizza. read more

I've ordered here 3x through slice. I would say that it's pretty good but not consistently good. The first time we ordered we got garlic knots and we didn't like them. Pizza was ok too. The second time we ordered, I thought I was ordering from somewhere else and realized later it was from Bert's. The garlic knots were delicious even the next day when we put it in the oven. same with the pizza. Third time we ordered we got garlic knots and it was burnt, hard and very greasy. I also don't know what possessed me to get a burrito but it didn't have cilantro or onions as advertised which is my favorite thing in a taco and a burrito. Great pizza, even better prices. Ive had slices, whole pizzas and subs from here and love it all. Bert is also super friendly and accommodating. I tend to ask for 1/2 and 1/2 on pizzas and he does this for me for the same price as the regular 2-4 topping. The cheesesteak was surprisingly excellent. Absolutely amazing!!! And the customer service is beyond impressive! I actually forgot to mention that I want grilled chicken on the pizza so 10 minutes later, I called back to clarify if it was grilled or fried. They told me that unfortunately it was fried chicken that they put on the pizza, and that the pizza was already in the oven :-( but they very quickly offered to try and add the grilled chicken and remove the fried .....and long story short; it came out perfect!! Fantastic service and fantastic food! While we planned on ordering pizza (we will next time), there was so much more on the menu to choose from. Wings were super meaty and the sauce delicious... bacon cheeseburger was flame broiled tasty, not greasy, and a delicious bun.... regular fries were cooked perfectly to a crisp... and the Cajun fries were just right! I ordered lunch for my client and I, and we ordered the bolognese. When I ordered, I asked to make sure there wasn't going to be cheese all over the top since my client and I can't do dairy. He assured me there wouldn't be, so I ordered. When it arrived, the pasta was covered n a heavy cream meat sauce and there was no way around the dairy. I should have asked, but traditional bolognese has just some grated cheese. Its usually a safe order but not here, they definitely have their own twist on it, and while it did look heavenly and we both wished we could have devoured it, we couldn't eat it at all. We ended up just sharing the side salad and bread, which were both good. I definitely want to try the place again, but I'll make sure to ask many more questions to make sure I'm getting what I expect. read more

This was my first time ordering from Julian's. I had the New York small pizza. It was a nice thin crust. The sauce and cheese was excellent. The sausage was ground and tasty.
