I rarely give out 5's but our meal was perfect. Beautiful day in the Prior to sit outside. We started with the beef and pork egg rolls. The attention to quality was apparent in every tasty bite. My lovely bride ordered the honey lime salad. It was a veritable culinary ballet. The dressing danced lightly on the tasty mixed greens and fruit. I had the pleasure of the shrimp and scallop crepes. Perfectly prepared seafood and a mushroom sauce that complimented the dish. It is hard to get good seafood so far away from salt water but the shrimp and scallops were expertly prepared. Not over cooked and so tender and tasty. Service was on point. Timing was spot on. The house red was of above average vintage. The Crème brulet finished our culinary adventure. Excellent!! My dinner - which was a chicken and shrimp crepe with mushrooms, green onions, and a creamy brandy sauce and a side salad - was amazing. What a wonderful restaurant to have in Arnprior! The food was delicious and fresh with great-sized portions. Service was friendly and knowledgeable as well as the right amount of attentiveness. Prices were great and lots of options on the menu as well as daily specials. This spot had a lot of recommendations. We ordered blackened catfish and shrimp pasta and the beef dip sandwich. The blackened catfish was fine but lacked flavour, we think salt may have helped. Shrimp was cooked well. The beef dip was pretty gross, the bread was soaked when I got it so I had a wet sandwich, but what was gross was "the dip" was like beef water, no flavour, no salt again, and just tasteless. I'd suggest bring sandwich out dry and get some flavour in the dip. Didn't finish. Won't return. Service was great! The waitress was attentive and served us quick. I feel like other things on the menu would be better. My aunt swears by the chicken Parmesan with linguine. Good luck don't order the beef dip. read more

Stopped in for lunch for the first time. Really nice interior, soaring ceilings, old school wood floors, and exposed brick walls. I ordered the Chicken Creole Pasta - fantastic. The sauce is truly the key - it had abut of a bite to it, creamy tomato sauce with nicely cooked green and red peppers, it's a must try Can't wait to slowly go through the menu and try some other options. read more

Had a great time here for a friend's birthday party. They had arranged the tables upstairs for our rather large group and the space worked well for the event. Service was a bit slow, but considering the size of the group, completely understandable. Staff were all very nice--friendly and helpful. Definitely felt comfortable here. Loved the space--it was gorgeous. Loved the brick walls and the hearty floors. It was casual and yet still had some style. Food was delicious--the waffle cut fries were especially tasty. Everyone's food looked so good I would definitely go back and work my way through their menu. read more

Honestly the food was to die for, the decor and atmosphere is great, even the service wasn't too bad. The wait time for the food was brutally long. I think it's just because we had plans it sucks it took so long but just don't come here if you have plans, come when you have time. We ate the fish tacos and the maple club Sandwich and seriously it was so so good. Definitely coming back to try more! read more

If I could give a negative rating I would. Service was good when we first walked in, then went downhill fast. I order a smoked meat sandwich on rye. When I got it, it was not on rye it was on a sesame seed hamburger bun. I complained about it immediately and was informed that they come that way and they are pre-packaged. Not good for a restaurant that are trying to show they are high end. They hire a chef to microwave food the shear height of laziness on their part. Especially when charge a ridiculous high price for food that is not high quality. I went online and sent an email about it. Since sending them an email on the issue the attitude got worse and they have band me from going back. We had already made the decision that we would not be going back, so being told not to go back didn't bother me. It just showed me that they do not care about their customers one bit. They are only out for the almighty dollar. I heard it from others about the service going down and attitude getting bad but never felt it until last night. If you care about your customers and valid customer complaints about food, then you should not be in the restaurant industry. read more

While visiting Arnprior I saw this bistro that appears to be very popular I went in to have something to eat and they do have reservations set up so I was told I had to be out of the table at a certain time for the person who reserved the table for 7 PM so obviously this is a popular place and the the featured entrée for the evening was prime rib and it sounded really good to me yet I didn't order the prime rib (now I'm kicking myself because I probably should ordered the prime rib) as I just didn't think I wanted a big meal and I didn't want to spend an extra 10 bucks and so I ended up getting a prime rib sandwich and I found it to be very fatty greasy no flavor and hardly any meat inside of a huge fat ciabatta bread and it had a little bit of cheese on it and some mushrooms but it was not worth $17 there's no way and I had to ask to get some horseradish to go with it to see if that would help to give it more flavor it has a nice environment and the wait staff is nice yet the food was a disappointment. it came with a salad and there were walnuts and orange slices and strawberries on the salad and the strawberries looked kind of soggy I didn't finish eating the sandwich and I didn't eat the salad , although I took them to go thinking I might want to eat them later yet just ended up putting it all in the garbage read more

Such a miss. The food was average, service was amongst the worst I've encountered, and quality of numerous elements of the experience far below expectations. My wife informed them she had to leave early and was only going to order an appetizer. That appetizer took an hour and a half to arrive. The remaining meals arrived 20 minutes later, so almost 2 hours for our meals on a night when the restaurant was only half full. Brutal. read more
