Their web page stated that lunch was available until 3:00. At 2:00 we asked the hostess to seat us and were told that they were not serving anymore even though they just sat another group. We went elsewhere for lunch. We also decided to go elsewhere for some fresh fruit and vegetables. We didn't want to take a chance that they their store might not be open either. Between lunch for six adults and two kids, three families getting fruits and vegetables, and getting items and snacks in the store, they lost out on several hundred dollars.

It is cute inside - they have fudge and ice cream cakes available as well. Primarily I am ordering at the outside window though! Ample parking outside and never an issue getting a spot.

Lobster ravioli is one of my favorite dishes of all time, and it's all over the greater Boston area. I have to say Basil's rivals any I've had before---the lobster cream sauce is to die for, I haven't stopped thinking about it since!! The Cumberland Farms in Medfield center is a self serve gas station and connivence store located along Rt 109. The good: premium gas is among the cheapest you'll find in the area. Connivence store isn't overpriced, but not the best bargains you'll find. They keep the window washer / squeegee in their buckets, with liquid (you'd be surprised how many places don't). Trash buckets nicely placed, and sufficient parking. The bad: no mechanic, air pump (seriously, come on), or covered gas pumps (aka not rain friendly). Station can be somewhat difficult to get into / out of, depending on where you're going and coming from. Only self serve, and no diesel. Don't go out of your way to get here. Better option is driving up 27 a bit (toward Walpole) and trying the station there.

Really good food. I'm still thinking about that delicious Kravings burger I had. Two patties, their special sauce...it was like a big Mac but SO much better. I would enjoy stopping by for their ice cream after a trip to the library with the kids. It's just a nice place to grab a bite to eat. They were generous with the chicken, and it seemed to have a good flavor of feta as well. It seemed a bit pricey, somehow coming in over $24, which is more than the menu showed, but were hungry, so we just let it be. I'd stop here again, but would keep and eye on, and question the pricing vs advertised menu pricing.

I would find it difficult to order another pizza from this business. As a long-time foodie, I know the difference between toasted garlic and burned garlic.

I walked in around 7:40 and there were signs all over the windows saying NO HOT SUBS. The girl making it seemed like she would rather be literally anywhere else, and the attitude definitely matched the sandwich. Then came the bread situation. Apparently there wasn't enough regular bread available for a giant sub, so mine was basically pieced together like a bread jigsaw puzzle. The finishing touch was the bacon. I watched the employee move the nice pieces of bacon aside with his hand, then scoop up the crumbled bits from the bottom of the pan and dump those on my sandwich instead. Nothing says "$20+ giant sub" quite like getting the bacon equivalent of the crumbs at the bottom of a potato chip bag. I'm actually sitting in the parking lot writing this because I don't think I've ever gotten such a poorly made sandwich from this location. I've always liked coming here, which is why tonight was so disappointing. I'll definitely think twice before coming back on a Monday night. Apparently weekends are when the good bread, bacon, grill -- and enthusiasm -- are available.
