They were fast, thorough, and very easy to deal with. Very professional in all aspects. So much easier than doing it myself.

I had no idea where to start to try to get the place under control, and their arts and craft supplies were spilling out all over the house as well. Becca provided us with an estimated timeframe and even came in under it. She not only decluttered the space, but separated items into trash and donate bins, reorganized everything we had, labeled it all, and came up with some really innovative solutions for my kids' markers and craft supplies. Truly the best money we've ever spent. My husband kept saying we could do it ourselves, but honestly -- who has the time or emotional bandwidth for that? And Becca came up with solutions we never would have thought of. Our space has been operating smoothly for several weeks now. It's so easy for the kids to access their things and clean up afterward, and everyone is happier. Items are actually being used instead of getting lost in the jumble, and they're being put away quickly. It has eliminated so much clutter in our house, and that makes all of our brains happier! We're already planning to have her come back to work on a few more projects in other areas of our home, and we've recommended her to all of our friends.

Emy was immediately responsive, surveyed the house, and collaborated with me on a plan of action. Armed only with a rough outline of what to keep/toss, she and her AMAZING crew cleared out, organized, and thoroughly cleaned a 2400sq ft house in just 1 day. I'm still in awe. If Crystal Clean can do that, imagine what they could do for a normal situation. Big or small, Emy's team is the one to hire. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Emy came out to survey the home and found it odd that we wanted the place to just be quick cleaned before any work done to the house. We are not doing any major renovations just teardown of kitchen cabinets replaced with new ones (the counter top and sink were all staying), basement (foundation, HVAC) and roof was going to be done as well. My husband and I will be staying in the house during these construction work and I have terrible allergies which I should of mentioned but I found Emy a bit intimidating. She found our request to be very odd since folks usually request cleaning before move in not before any type of construction done. It made me a bit uncomfortable and honestly it wasn't an odd request since she walked around and noted how dirty some things were. Either way my husband and I really liked the customer testimonials and pictures on their website so we hired them. $600 was the quote we got and we thought it was fair since we really wanted a lot of the dust and dirt gone for a 2,200 square foot home. Emy scheduled us immediately even though she said the day she put us down for that her crew is pretty busy. Again we trusted her. The day of the cleaning schedule came and only one guy showed up at 10:30am . He said he wanted to set up for the crew and that the crew will come help him a little later. Well at around 3pm, my husband told me the rest of the crew was a no show and they will not be helping this poor guy. I wasn't present for the cleaning because again I have allergies and wanted to avoid all the dust and debris being shuffled around during cleaning. The amazing solo cleaner (I was so upset that my husband did not catch his name) did an amazing QUICK cleaning throughout the house. He got every spot we requested during Emy's consultation and he finished everything in about 5 hours. I'm glad this was not a deep cleaning job because I would of been extremely upset knowing one guy was doing all this hard work at such limited time when it's suppose to be a crew of people. I wanted to give them 3 stars but the solo worker earned them the extra star. I'd give the guy 10 stars and Emy's terrible scheduling 1 star, we didn't get the crew that she had promised us. We are happy with the work this awesome gentleman did for our house but unfortunately will not be rehiring Crystal Clean ever again. The next cleaning we wanted them for was before move in but after this experience and seeing how much stressed they put their workers through, we will look elsewhere. They also don't hand out receipts after the work is done. it was very unsettling paying cash and not getting any type of receipt.

It's been 5 years since we moved in and we can't even walk in our basement. Everything has piled up in these years and we didn't know where to start and frankly would not have started if it weren't with Jenny's help. (Quite honestly we were embarrassed to ask for help but we were desperate) Jenny walked into our basement with no judgement; our embarrassment/self consciousness disappeared. She worked in a fast paced and motivated manner yet respected our feelings when sorting through sentimental items. Jenny started out by categorizing items as well designating areas of the basement into specific sections (donate, discard, keep). She then organized/labeled all "keep" items in bins based on categories. We finally can walk in our basement and easily locate items especially for certain seasons and holidays. And we now can plan to renovate our basement! Thank you, Jenny! Your professionalism and meticulous organizational methods made it so easy. And we know can think clearer!

My goal was to keep a promise to my Mom that the new year wouldn't arrive and our garage and spare room were still disorganized. Kathy helped me deliver on that promise. From initial consultation to the two appointments, she was always professional and punctual. I liked that she gets right down to business but she's also very personable. Her team worked tirelessly. I don't remember seeing them take any breaks and there certainly was no lollygagging. After sorting through the mounds of piles, they always asked which items should be tossed or donated. They even take donation items with them and bring back a receipt, which saved me time. They offered to take the trashed items as well which was a welcomed surprise. I'd perused Yelp to find organizers to fit my budget. An Organized Home was the most affordable. It took two days and four ladies working nearly sixteen hours to organize both rooms. It ended up costing more than I had anticipated and budgeted for but my Mom is highly satisfied with the end result. She can be very 'selective' so that's a great compliment to the quality of their work. I'm also very thankful to them because after they cleared out the corner of the garage, they alerted me to the smell of gas. One of the ladies suggested that I call the gas company right away and have them check for a leak. A technician came out in the evening and sealed off a leaking valve. Had they not alerted us, who knows what would have happened. Making payment was very easy (e.g. Venmo, check, over the phone). I would use their services again in a heartbeat. If our trend holds, I'll be phoning them again in two years. :)

    Room to Bloom

For my attention challenged friends, here's the short version:…read more If you need help purging, finding the right home for your items, creating systems that actually make sense, and adding labels so everything stays that way, hire Room to Bloom. If you are overwhelmed and craving the peace that comes from less clutter and everything having a designated place, it is worth it. Long version: We bought our home in 2020, and it was a full gut renovation. We are still living only on the first floor, while the upstairs remains mostly unfinished except for a small office. Our house currently has no linen closet, and we are sharing one small bathroom as a family of five. Because of this, we have been storing items in places that do not really make sense, simply out of necessity. At one point, I bought a large IKEA cabinet and put it in one of the kids' rooms just to store towels and sheets. With a family of five, we do a lot of laundry and accumulate a lot of stuff. We also have a side entrance that slowly became a dumping ground for anything we wanted out of sight. Every six months we would clean it, only for it to turn back into a junk room pretty quickly. Since we are not using the upstairs yet, we largely ignored the problem. Over the summer, I had a vision for the space with a custom bench/hall-tree and storage, so I bought multiple IKEA cabinets. A few family members had passed away or downsized over the years, and I had inherited many seasonal items and kitchen items. The volume alone felt paralyzing. We got the floors done and the cabinets in place and even after multiple passes of purging, I still felt overwhelmed by stuff and stuck. One of our kids has special needs and she often goes into the younger kids room and dumps out baskets and empties the book shelves. It's hard to keep up and I felt totally defeated. I decided to ask for help and I'm so glad I did! One of the most helpful parts was having an impartial, logical person there to talk through decisions without emotion or pressure. Krysta helped me move items out quickly so I did not second-guess myself, and she reorganized spaces in ways I never would have thought of. She also consolidated items so things that belonged together finally lived in the same place. She brought her trusty label maker, which made all the difference in creating systems that will actually last. We have a long dresser in the dining room that also turned into junk drawers and randomness. After collected all the baskets and storage bins we could use for the foyer, we began gathering items that didn't belong in other rooms and got to work. We already had a craft cabinet in the foyer, so she said it made sense to move all craft supplies out of the kids' room and into one centralized location. It was her idea to switch out which cabinet was designated for crafts and games and it ended up making much more sense. She also solved the recurring problem in the kids room by bringing arts and craft related items out and storing other items away safely so our other child couldn't access them anymore. We designated drawers for non-Christmas gift wrapping, bday party supplies, paint, games, flashlights, candles, light bulbs, beads, crayons, markers, etc., shelves for kitchen items not used daily, paper, everything has a home! While I'm not sharing pics of the kids room, I do have many of the foyer (I still have to paint the cabinet doors and get them hung- it's on the list lol) and the donate pile. If you have been considering hiring a professional organizer, do not hesitate. Krysta accomplished in one day what I had been trying to do for months, honestly closer to years. I am so grateful for her help. Thank you, Krysta!!!
